Raymond Davis Saga: Everybody was Looking For The Happy Ending – by Shaista Aazar
In Pakistan, Hamid Mir and Javed Chaudhary have been conferred with the title of “Moderate” by none other than Mufti Hanif Qureshi, the man who incited lunatic Qadri, (the lone wolf as per the anti-American lobby) to take law in his hands and assassinate Salman Taseer. Another “super” moderate Hamid Mir borrowed a term, “Liberal Fascists” from American right-wing commentator Jonah Goldberg and dedicated a series of his Urdu/English columns to Pakistani Liberals calling them Fascists.
This term has been used by the Pro-Taliban Pakistani activists of Islamist groups like Tehreek-e-Insaf (Imran Khan) and their brothers-in-arms Jamaat-e-Islami against those who deconstruct their lies.
Their masters at Aabpara aka ISI are apt in constructing issue, creating crises and bringing a storm in a cup of tea. Their proxies in the media, the pressure groups disguised as political parties, the pensioner Analysts and ambitious ex-diplomats chime along in their manufactured crises.
This time the Al-Jazeera revolutions and the media mix has given our right wing Islamist ideologues and their pseudo liberal civil society proxies false hopes. They thought it was their time to celebrate a revolution on the shoulders of ISI (like always). Even our Marcus Junius Brutus too hitched himself on their deceitful tricks.
As anticipated in many posts at this very blog, the so called wave of Anti Americanism, the much publicized ISI-CIA rift has run its cause. The classic Patti-Patni clash has not ended in a Divorce and the arbitration done by the none other than the holier than thou Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The mutual collaboration of Khadimeen, of KSA and the Kingdom of Punjab, has worked. The Raymond Davis saga with all the twists and turns has a had a melodramatic end.
We also determined the price of Pakistan’s “Ghairat” in the process; $1.4 million and a few US visas. Our public hates the US but they love to move over there and not to KSA, which can only employ them as labourers and Shia-killing mercenaries. And at this time, we must not forget how the Government has also given 1-year extension to Gen. Pasha of the ISI.
Raymond Davis has been pardoned and by the grace of Allah we have proved once again that “In Pakistani narrative, Islam has a crucial role to play and provide solution to every problem”
Let us sing a song in Chorus from the recently released Bollywood movie “Tees Mar Khan”
Everybody sings with me…
Happy Ending, Happy Ending
Everybody’s Looking For The Happy Ending
Happy Ending, Happy Ending
Har Kahani Ki Ho Happy Ending
Chaar Topon Se, Apni Salaami Ho
Saari Public Bhi, Apni Deewani Ho
Doobti Nayiya Mein, Apna Chale Chappu
Kisi Bhi Baazi Mein, Humko Mile Paplu
Hum Toh Khwaaish Karenge,
Hum Guzaarish Karenge
Hum Toh Maangenge Ek Din Jaib Mein Saari Yeh Duniya Ho
Sab Ka Bhala Ho, Sab Ka Sahi Ho
Happy Ending, Happy Ending
Everybody’s Looking For The Happy Ending
Happy Ending, Happy Ending
Har Kahani Ki Ho Happy Ending
the legal heirs of both the victims have used their lawful right and we should not be ashamed of it as we never felt any embarrassment while plundering our own country, lying, receiving kickbacks, killing our own Christians and then making life a living hell for our poor brethrens and sisters. We are the filthiest nation whose Mullahs receive Rs. 5 for using Mosque toilets. Did we ever try to have self-accountability? I congratulate heirs for doing a rightful job and securing their future. Protesting Pakistanis are jealous who will do the same. However, our uneducated, senseless and big-tummy ‘Mullahs brigade’ would get some business to poison people with their venomous speeches. Jamaal e Islami will also have some usual business of polluting Lahore with tyre burnings.
Pakistan is a fort of Islam, hence we are proud of the Islamic justice meted out to an ehl-e-kitab brother Raymond Davis.
@Abdul: but our Islam Ka Thekaydaar Media is shouting against this decision which is purely based on Islamic Shariah..
I hope Nawaz Sharif remains healthy. He is a source of amusement for all of us. Please pray for his health.
BTW, the statement by shahbaz that “meray bhag janay kee khabar ziyadti hay” was caused by a confusion. upon arrival in London, he was asked that the diyat recipients ran away, to which Shahbaz thought the journos were asking why he ran away. His answer was very funny “Meray baray bhai, jo kay meray baap kee jaga hayn, unnkee tabiyat kharab hui hay to mayn yahan bhaga bhaga aaya hoon. Woh aik haftay say yahan hayn. Aap loag ziyadti kartay hayn”. 🙂
dono bhai are the best.
