Dr A Q Khan appreciates LUBP’s services for sectarian harmony in Pakistan – by Ali Taj
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Pakistan’s nuclear scientist and the founder-chairman of the Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan (Movement for the Protection of Pakistan), has appreciated LUBP’s services for Sunni-Shia sectarian harmony. Dr. Khan also lauded LUBP’s (Let Us Build Pakistan www.lubpak.com) activism and advocacy in support of oppressed people of Pakistan.
Dr. AQ Khan expressed this opinion on Twitter (22 January 2013) in response to a malicious campaign against LUBP blog by certain affiliates and promoters of Takfiri hate clerics and banned terrorist groups.

#LUBP is playing a very vital role in removing Shia Sunni hatred and exposing true enemies of Islam who promote sectarianism22 Jan Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan @DrAQ_Khan
#LUBP has been a voice for oppressed in Pakistan and I hope It’ll continue to do so in future.
We thank Dr. Khan for very kind words about LUBP blog. In the past we have appreciated Dr. Khan’s bold and principled condemnation of Takfiri sectarian terrorist groups (Sipah-e-Sahaba, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi). We hope that those people who are currently busy in promoting hate clerics as prophets of peace and also provide them voice in the media will reconsider their attitude.
Dr. Sahib, I am a Pakistani Hindu from Sindh and will not disclose my identity out of fear for my life. Thank you for the support to LUBP which has been raising a voice of protest against the injustices against Pakistani minorities. Will you please also speak about the conditions of Pakistani Hindus who can’t even dare to make a DHARNA protest. Will be grateful to you.
YES we will. We believe in speaking for the oppressed. Please send us what you want to say it will be posted and promoted.
Did Dr. Khan have a change of heart? I hope he did. He may have used the opportunity to apologise against his false and sectarian remarks regarding the Ahmadi Muslims, a remark he made during a TV program during the last ramadan.
