The dilemma we are facing is that we are arrogantly ignoring present realities by assuming that our past was so beautiful, our nation is one the of the most special and unique in the world and the whole world appears to be conspiring against Pakistan.

As a nation, due to these typical logical fallacies used by conspiracy theorists and political actors we are keep living in the fake world/Denialistan and keep denying & hatting modern liberal world.

Hassan Nisar’s article “Izzat Ghairat Hamiyat Nai Tareef Ki Zaroorat” is a wonderful piece, a perfectly timed slap on ghairat brigade mafia. In a little satirical manner, he is criticizing several aspects of the concept of so- called sovereignty, artificial patriotism, through which he is questioning the centuries-old feudal/tribal concepts of ‘Izzat, Ghariat and Hamiyat and suggesting new definitions and attributes meanings to these male chauvinistic concepts. He also criticized all those who are living in ‘Denialistan’, and not ready to accept the new ground realities.
