Altaf Hussain has asked Rabita Committee (C) to clean up party of Takfiris
“We have to check which elements have managed to infiltrate our ranks who are causing conflict between Shia and Sunnis. Once they are found then they will be dealt with as per the courts of heaven and of earth.”

This is a very important statement by the MQM chief, Altaf Hussain. While Karachi is steeped in the blood of Shias, the PPP and MQM have either abdicated their responsibility in this regard or are complicit.
MQM which can shut down the city of Karachi in half an hour on one phone call has done nothing to stop the daily killings of Shias in Karachi areas dominated by MQM like Liaquatabad, North Nazimabad and Landhi. Shaheed Ali Akber Kumaili was killed in Azizabad which is the hub of MQM and the location of 90.
Clearly, the MQM chief has correctly identified one of the main problems facing MQM which does not seem to be the priority of some of the Karachi-based MQM leaders. Altaf Hussain has for some time, mantained that MQM is a secular force and the infiltration of Deobandi terrorists who are targetting other faith based communities should be a matter of concern to the MQM leadership. While this issue has been raised by the MQM chief and is shared by some of the Karachi-based leaders, it seems that others are either complicit in this Taliban infiltration into MQM or too busy mocking the country-wide anti-Taliban coalition lead by Dr. Tahir ul Qadri.
Altaf Hussain has taken note and now he must do something about the ASWJ-LeJ infiltration into MQM.
Hammad Siddiqi and Anis Qaim Khani who were fired from MQM last year, were very active ASWJ guys. Recently Raza Haroon visited the ASWJ office in Hassan Colony.
Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ibad is a close friend of Mufti Naeem, the mentor of ASWJ terrorists in Karachi.
Lower ranking unit people have high infiltration of ASWJ. Within MQM, takfiri infiltrators target Shia and Sunni Barelvi , non-takfiri muhajirs in particular.

There is a similar case of ASWJ-LeJ infiltration in PPP. While PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has recieved threats from ASWJ-LeJ, his party which is governing Sindh, has done nothing to curb the violence and hatred incitment public activity of ASWJ-LeJ Sindh head, Aurangzeb Farooqi. Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah and Opposition leader, Khursheed Shah are widely alleged to be the facilitators of ASWJ-LeJ in Sindh.
