Pakistan’ Anne Frank: Mehzar Zahra, a victim of Shia genocide
Related post: Defy the odds, Mehzar – by Abbas Nasir
Annelies “Anne” Marie Frank (12 June 1929 – early March 1945) is one of the most discussed Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Her diary has been the basis for several plays and films. Born in the city of Frankfurt am Main in Weimar Germany, she lived most of her life in or near Amsterdam, in the Netherlands.
Over one million children under the age of sixteen died in in World War II, not because of the bombs, but because they did not fit in as Hitler’s image of the “perfect” German. Many children and their parents living in countries, which had been invaded by the Germans, were imprisoned and killed because they were Jewish. At least six million Jews were killed by Hitler and his Nazi Germany apparatus while the entire world, particularly Europe, looked the other way.
While nothing in human tragedy can be compared to the Jewish holocaust, the situation of Shia Muslims in the Islamic history in general, and in modern Pakistan in particular, appears to be in some ways similar to the persecution, harassment and genocide which Jews have been facing for at least two thousand years.
It is my considered opinion that, as two most persecuted communities of the world, Shia Muslims and Jews should try to understand and accept each other, treat each other with respect and compassion. In particular, Israel and Iran should seriously reconsider their hostilities which are more a handiwork of Saudi cunning lobbying and propaganda, because there is no substantive or historical basis for animosity or hatred between Shias and Jews. Hamas Salafists in Gaza will feel equal joy in killing a Shia as they have in killing a Jew. As the people of the book and as a persecuted nation, Jews deserve full respect and sympathy as do Shia Muslims (and all other persecuted communities). The Jew Shia unity is good for both communities, the hatred between Jews and the Shias will only help their common enemy, i.e., Saudi Arabia and its Salafist-Deobandi mercenaries who want to kill all Jews and Shias.
Anne Frank was only one of at least one million children killed by Nazis in Germany; she and her family members were killed only because of their faith, i.e., Judaism.
The situation of Shias in Pakistan is not much different. So far, at least 20,000 Shia Muslims have been killed at the hands of Takfiri Deobandi militants of the Taliban and Sipah-e-Sahaba, financed by Saudi Arabia, and nurtured by Pakistan Army. At least 6,000 Shia children have been killed in Pakistan. Their pictures and brief background is provided in this post: https://lubpak.com/archives/231236
However, on 30 November 2012 around 8:00 am something very painful happened in Pakistan’s largest city, Karachi.
Mehzar Zehra, 12, a grade 7 student, was on her way to school along with her father Syed Mazhar Abbas Zaidi. Takfiri Deobandi terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba attacked her and her father on the Shaheed-e-Millat Road. Her father was killed in front of her, while she too was showered with bullets. Four bullets pierced her body and as I write these lines she remains in critical condition in the I.C.U. Doctors are not operating her because they fear she might get paralysed if they proceed with the operation. She been constantly asking about her father, but the little kid doesn’t know that he is no more.
What was Mehzar and her father’s only crime? Their Shia faith. Just as Hitler wanted to create what he saw was the perfect German, this meant that anyone who did not fit into his perfect image was persecuted (ill treated) and/or killed, he persecuted German citizens who were Jewish, Gypsies, or otherwise “undesirables”. Similarly, Saudi-funded Deobandi and Wahhabi terrorists want to kill Shia Muslims because Shias do not fit their perfect image of Muslims.
The attack on Mehzar and her father is indeed very disturbing. However, Pakistani media, rights activists have completely ignored this incident along with other incidents of Shia genocide. Reason? Shias are considered lesser Muslims and lesser humans in Pakistan. According to a recent research by Pew, at least 50% of Sunni Muslims in Pakistan, Deobandis and Wahhabis in particular, consider Shia as Kafir (infidels). This figure not only includes madrassah educated right-wing bigots but also many middle-class and elite Pakistanis, many of whom also work in media and rights groups. Hence, the silence!
Here’s a specimen reaction by two Pakistani Deobandi activists on Twitter. Loose translation: “Good news! A Kafir Shia sent to hell. His daughter is critically injured.”

Serious notice should be taken about the spreading sectarianism in Karachi
The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the increasing incidents of sectarian killings in Karachi and termed it a conspiracy to destroy peace of the city. It said that certain anti-peace elements are killing innocent citizens in order to fuel the fire of sectarianism in the city.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the killings of Dr Shahid Hassan and his wife and the brutal murder of Nazar Abbas before her daughter are aimed at fanning sectarianism and undermining peace and order. It expressed sympathies to the grieving family members who lost their loved-ones in various firing incidents. It demanded Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of the sectarian killings in Karachi and bring the perpetrators to book.
Meanwhile MNA Rasheed Godial visited a local hospital in order to inquire after the well-being of 13 years old girl Zahra who was injured by the terrorists who killed his father before her eyes. He also visited the house of the deceased and sympathized with the bereaved family members.
Deobandi = Yazidi
Takfiri Deobandi terrorists Taliban, Sipah Sahaba are enemies of humanity. They are neither Muslim nor human.
Thank you, LUBP, for writing this, and also your hard work to database and hilight Shia killings.
While Irani and Hazara thugs and fake liberals do nothing, you have Zahra (s.a.)’s prayers with you in your great work.

Dear Comrades in Hussein; what a remarkable post! The one important parallel you will find between the persecution of the Shias and that of the Jews is their systematic demonisation through the ages – Whereas the blood libel against the Jewish people , although universally prevalent, has little currency in polite circles in the West, popular television in Egypt, Iran and `Westernised’ Turkey regularly dishes it out. Worse; Jews are ridiculed and castigated for the REMEMBRANCE of genocide and persecution. I would be rich as Croesus if I had a Dirham for each time I have heard the EXACT SAME demonology in play contra the Shia from mainstream Muslims. That they sprinkle juvenile Sunni blood on the ritual Ashura meal; that they are Mushrik killers of Caliphs and worthies; that their loyalties are suspect and that they have ever been the source of FITNAH. Furthermore, just as there are foul self-hating and traitorous Jews so there are the complicit, Kufi Shia. On a more optimistic note; just as the Jewish seminarian displays tremendous philosophical ability; so do Shia scholars: classically educated in the seminaries of Ajam in particular, they tend to excel in intellectual discourse; be it temporal or spiritual. May your musings kindle intellectual curiousity among the young; may this serve to open their hearts to Light…
May God bless her and recover soon.
Times like these, one feels really ashamed of one’s helplessness in the face of such brutality.
Very sad….. Army and ISI is main responsible for Shia/Sunni Killing in Pakistan with the money of Saudi arabia

Israelis and Iranians are Natural Allies – by Bahman Aghai Diba
BY ADMIN
The regime of Iran pretends that there is a deep hostility between Iranians and Israelis. On the other side, the regime of Iran has been trying to prove that the Iranian people care about Palestinians in a special way (let say different from their feeling about the Chechens in Russia). Both of these claims are baseless and wrong. Iranians do not feel any hostility towards Israelis and Iranians have no special place in their hearts for the Palestinians.
Iranians had a great role in the ancient history of the Jews. The name of Cyrus the great is mentioned many times in the Old Testament. Cyrus freed the Jews while they were living in exile and under captivity in Babylon. He let them return to Jerusalem and helped them to build their main temple. The dates of these events are occasions for some of the most important celebrations of the Jews. This is also a source of great honor for Iranians as the flag bearers of the religious tolerance, human rights, and respect for the “others”. In addition to these historical relations, there are many similarities between Iran and Israel, such as:
1- Iran, like Israel, is a non-Arab country in the Middle East. Amir Taheri, a prominent Iranian journalist, has mentioned in his article: “If Israel had never appeared on the map, the energy of the pan-Arab nationalism movement, which dominated Arab politics in the post-war era, would have been directed against two other neighbors: Turkey and Iran. To a certain extent, it was anyway. Even today, the Arab League claims that the Turkish province of Iskanderun is ‘usurped Arab territory’ and regards the Iranian province of Khuzestan as ‘occupied Arab land’.”
2- Iran and Israel both follow a religion that is different from the Arabs. Israelis are mostly Jews, and Iranians are mostly Shiite (Sunni do not consider Shiites as a branch of Islam in many Arab countries). Iranians are not serious Muslims (compare the behaviors of Iranians to the people of the Arab countries) and it is accepted by some researchers that Shiite sect was “invented” by Iranians as a kind of instrument to be different from the Sunni Arabs.
3- Iran, like Israel, is accused by the Arabs for being an occupier of the Arab lands. The case of Israel is clear and the case of Iran is related to the three Islands in the Persian Gulf that the UAE has put a claim on them. (The UAE did not exist before 1971).
Therefore, the two countries must have the best relations. However, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran claims to be the first enemy of Israel. Why? Because: the government of the Islamic Republic is also the worst enemy of the Iranian people.
A look at the record of the Islamic Republic of Iran reveals that that during the last quarter of the century, this regime has done everything possible to eradicate the Iranian identity of Iran. If they have not succeeded to do so, it was not due to their failure to work hard or their use of less violent tactics as compared to the Afghan Talibans. The reason was that the people of Iran did not let them to get what they wanted. The regime of Iran is determined to use the case of Israel as:
1- a pretext to fight the people of Iran who do not feel any hostility towards the Israelis.
2- The regime has failed in all cultural, economic, and political fields and it wants to find an enemy to accuse for its failures.
3- The regime of Iran has lost its legitimacy and it is trying to find a mission for itself.
The people of Iran do not feel to have a special obligation to defend the rights of the Palestinians too. There are countless Arab countries, with money and power and good relations and they are in much better position to defend the Palestinians.
In fact, the Arabs, including the Palestinians, never have asked or welcomed the intervention of the Iranian regime in the Palestinian issue. They consider this as Arabic issue and consider the intervention of Iran as step from the “outside” and they look at Iran as they look at Israel. During the Iran-Iraq war (1980-1988), no Arab country or person, including the Palestinians and the Syrians, who were fed by the Iranian regime, participated on behalf of Iran. As far as the case of three Iranian Islands in the Persian Gulf is concerned, all Arab states, including Palestinians and Syrians, have stood behind the baseless claims of the UAE.
Perhaps one of the most important acts during the Iraq-Iran war (1980-1988) was the daring attack of Israel against the nuclear facilities of Iraq (Osiraq). If Saddam had managed to complete its nuclear bomb, he would not have hesitated one second for using it against Iran (Khomeini was the same).
When the president of Iran, who is under education for learning the Alphabet of politics, claimed that Israel should be wiped out or the Holocaust did not exist, the people of Iran showed no sympathy. However, many Arabs, who do not dare to speak out for themselves, got happy. Some people in Iran showed their disagreement with the president by asking: “whose president are you? Iranians or Palestinians?” Are we out of problems that we want to solve the problems of the other countries?

It seems to be that clothing is going into “cheap, but poorly made” and “SUPER expensive, but well made, and oh yeah, has a designer name.” Whereas there is no “mid price, well made, but doesn have the designer name.”any experience w Nordstrom purse return
