SP Investigation Jamil Kakar shot dead by Takfiri Deobandis in Quetta
QUETTA: Quetta’s Superintendent Police (SP) Investigation Jameel Kakar was shot dead near his residence located in the Kili Gul Muhammad area of Quetta early Friday morning (7 Sep 2012).According to police account, as soon as SP Jamil Kakar left his house, unknown assailants on a motorbike intercepted his car and opened fire at him.
The deceased police official was posted at Barori Road Police Station in Quetta as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. Kakar was later promoted to the post of SP and was transferred to Saryab Road Police Station.
Takfiri Deobandis of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ, operating as Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat ASWJ) opened fire on Kakar’s car when he was on his way to appear in the hearing of the Balochistan law and order (Shia killings) case which was to be held in Supreme Court’s Quetta registry. According to activists based in Quetta, he was about to submit the evidence of ISI and FC’s support to LeJ-ASWJ militants in Balochistan. In particular, he had discovered sensitive information about ISI’s involvement in a previous LeJ attack (29 March 2012) in Quetta in whichh four Shiite Muslims and two UN employees were killed.
The SP was earlier posted at Barori Road Police Station in Quetta as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). He was later promoted to the post of SP and was transferred to Sariab Road Police Station.
Sources said that the deceased policeman was continuously receiving death threats by the LeJ-ASWJ terrorists. Takfiri Deobandis of LeJ-ASWJ are closely aligned with the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Takfiri Deobandi militants are rumoured to enjoy the support of Pakistan Army which uses them for cross-border Jihadist operations in Afghanistan and other countries. Recently, Human Rights Watch in its statement on Shia killings in Pakistan pointed towards the collusion between Pakistan Army and LeJ-ASWJ.
Only a few days ago, on 1 September 2012, Frontier Corps of Pakistan army had been given police powers in Quetta. On 6 September a senior police officer (Jamil Kakar) investigating ASWJ-LeJ terrorists was killed in broad daylight in Quetta.
The police have been frequently coming under attack in Quetta and other parts of Pakistan, several police personnel have been killed by the Taliban, LeJ-ASWJ, while several have sustained injuries in targeted killings and bomb blasts. Particularly those police officers are targeted who refuse to bow down to LeJ-ASWJ-Taliban’s harassing tactics, and perform their duty in an honest manner.
Here is a list compiled by Balochistan Police which shows the number of police officials martyred so far by LeJ-ASWJ-Taliban terrorists and also by Baloch insurgents: http://www.balochistanpolice.gov.pk/shuhda/pshuhda.php
Among the first victims of LeJ’s target killings against police officials were Shia Hazaras. On 14 January 2009, 3 Shia Police officials named DSP Hassan Ali, Mohammad Baqir and Sifwatullah were killed in Quetta, four were injured. In 2002, 12 Shia Hazara police cadets were gunned down in Quetta.
Quetta is the capital of Balochistan province which has seen an upswing in anti-Shia violence recently and is also suffering from a separatist insurgency and Taliban militants. Recently, an LeJ-ASWJ terrorists was shot dead in Khuzdar whose death was mourned by both Baloch nationalists (insurgents) and the LeJ-ASWJ.

A snapshot of sacrifices by Quetta Police
Here is a very brief snapshot of immense sacrifices by the Balochistan Police in their pursuit of ISI-sponsored Takfiri Doebandi terrorists (LeJ, ASWJ, Taliban).
Imagine the diminishing morale of a police officer who knows his killers are nurtured and protected by Army, political government is a silent spectator, judiciary keeps on releasing arrested terrorists and the media continues to glorify Takfiri Deobandis and obfuscate their crimes against Pakistani nation.

Quetta police kill two ‘sectarian killers’
QUETTA: Two heavily armed terrorists were shot dead in a police encounter in Akhtarabad area of Quetta, close to Hazara Town, where most sectarian killings had been reported in recent months. A policeman, identified as Riaz, sustained bullet injuries, but was out of danger, while two Anti-Terrorism Force personnel were shot at in the chest but remained unhurt as they were wearing bullet-proof vests, police sources confirmed. Talking to reporters, DIG Operations Qazi Wahid said the police patrol spotted a car carrying two armed men and signalled them to stop for a security check and clearance. However, the men sped away and opened fire on the policemen. The policemen retaliated to the firing, and killed the two suspects.
While searching the car, police found two 9mm pistols, four other pistols, a hand grenade, seven fake vehicle registration number plates and two Computerised National Identity Cards, which were referred to NADRA for verification. Police also recovered from the car a USB, mobile phones and other items, which are being examined for any information about the gangs responsible for sectarian killing in Quetta. The bodies were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex for autopsy, while their identities could not be ascertained at this point. “Names and all other relevant details of the alleged terrorists would be disclosed after the investigation completes,” the DIG maintained. He claimed the suspects were target killers. “They wanted to target some people in Quetta but police’s timely action foiled their attempt,” he said. “We firmly believe they are target killers who had been on some mission. They belong to some extremist group involved in sectarian violence.” Responding to a query, he said strict security measures had been adopted in the provincial capital following an increase in sectarian killings. staff report/agencies

Quetta shooting: Police official shot dead – possibly by sectarian killers
By Mohammad Zafar
Published: September 8, 2012“Gunmen riding on motorcycles intercepted the car of SP Kakar in the Killi Gul Muhammad neighbourhood and sprayed him with bullets,” Mir Zubair, the capital city police officer (CCPO), told the media.
“Kakar died on the spot and a passerby was wounded,” he added. “The gunmen managed to escape. We have launched a manhunt for them.”
Kakar’s body was shifted to the Combined Military Hospital where medics said that he received two bullets to his upper torso which caused his instant death.
Police said they were investigating the motives.
However, sources added that SP Kakar was investigating several cases of sectarian violence – and that he had recently received threats from extremist outfits.
“Whenever an officer is close to unmasking the elements involved in sectarian violence he is killed,” a senior police investigator told The Express Tribune.Witnesses said the attackers were three in number and they were riding on two motorcycles.
“They opened fire on SP Kakar’s official vehicle after he drove out of his residence,” one witness told The Express Tribune. “The gunmen also fired at the passerby, identified as Ghulam Muhammad, when he tried to confront them.”
Kakar was recently promoted as SP and posted at Saryab police station. Before that he served as deputy superintendent of police at Quetta’s Brewery Road Police Station.
CCPO Zubair described SP Kakar as a brave officer who laid down his life in the line of duty. “At least 17 police officials have been killed in the past three months,” he said. “However, this would not dent the morale of the police force.”
The funeral prayers for SP Kakar were offered in the Police Lines, Quetta. A large number of police officials and bureaucrats were attendance.
According to a police tally, at least 180 policemen have been killed and 300 injured in 232 incidents of violence in the last five years.http://tribune.com.pk/story/433328/quetta-shooting-police-official-shot-dead–possibly-by-sectarian-killers/
A big big shame to our Secret Agencies
It is clear now, WHO is killing Shias and Brailvis in Pakistan
Its a shame to kill fellow muslims or non muslims then Shout Allaho akbar when Allah is actually sending HIS azaab /wrath on ignorant -non practicing druggies of Pakistan. stop calling shiyya muslims, Kafir.Shame on you for calling One God worshipers Kafir. You cant even live peacefully in your own country when Muslims and other religions live peacefully in western cultures.. What’s one good thing about the country you call islamic jamhuriya. Shame on you. Let them live in peace. their difference in belief is between them and God. We all pray to same God, and its Him we are answerable to. Stop the senseless killing of humans whether muslims or not. how much do they practice Islam?/ They are not even close to any practicing muslim in character and dealings and they are followers of DEVIL obviously..Now Whole Muslim Community should Demand justice and murderers be hanged in public to teach lesson to this kind of terrorists.
the criminal silence of agencies on such terrible accusations transmute doubts into realities.
The same old rhetoric of LUBP continues. They have already determined with deadly accrucacy as why was Sp killed and who was involved. We all know that LeJ might be responsible but no one certain but LUBP has already blamed LeJ and gone to the extent of writing that SP was bringing evidence against ISI and FC. Whats the proof of LUBP for this. I am not saying that they are not involved in all this but getting evidence against them is easier said then done. Since the start of Baloch national resistance in 2006 ISI and FC have been on centre stage of power structure. They have knitted a network of authority and command in such a way that Police can’t do anything without them. Let alone furnishing evidence of their involvement in such a huge case of Hazara-Shia massacre. This is yet another crap theory by LUBP…
Akhir kab tak ISI apne gunahoon pe parda dal ke rakhay ge kia apne ap ko khuda samjhti ha jisay fana nhi one day will come .jab yazid nhi baqi reh saka to……………….
ISI still feels these takfeeri Deobandis are their strategic assets. It is high time they stop funding, training and then protecting these terrorists. It will make Pakistan a much safer place to live in and the neighbours will be happier too
I want to make few things clear, who stop the Shai to worship there religion here in pakistan or any where in the world, but the point is this that when you start abuses the holy persons of Sunnis in the sunni majority countries, open bark on load speakers, zakirs and shai scholars starts putting wrong words and falses stories on the sunni holy and respected personalities. the problems arises, there is no such religion in the world where abuses are good things, blames and rubbish stories about the persons of the other religion we never see. Stop barking and live happily
Ms. Rabia,
If someone has thoughts rather than your thoughts he must be killed? if it is just than wait for the day when we will start doing these things than father of “Malik Ishaq lanti “your illegitimate father” Ahmad Ludhyanvi, and all other pigs including you will never breath for a moment. And the time has come we are organising our groups just wait for a few more month than you will see blood bathing of your youngesters and olds all over the country specially in Quetta. Insahllah.
when u see people r being killed every day and Government can not do any thing so it means State is Involved in. What a Shame and injustice, Somehow every living has to feel the taste of death, Time will pass away but the records of injustices will remain. Judgment Day is Made of Innocents so we will wait for our turn, Let the Barbarians do what they want to do they have 15 lack Army, Navy, Airforce, FC, Police, Supreme Court and large numbers of Terrorist just made to kill innocent SHIA Community.
