Condolences to Deobandi Khawarij and “liberals” on Adnan Rasheed’s arrest

Adnan Rasheed arrested! Condolences to Bushra Gohar, Ahmed Ludhyanvi, other opponents of Operation ZarbEAzb‬ against Deobandi Khawarij hiding in North Waziristan.

Condolences to “liberals” and Deobandi apologists of the TTP-ASWJ Khawarij, those who blatantly or subtly oppose the ZarbEAzb (eg ANP and ASWJ types), on the arrest of Adnan Rasheed Deobandi

Those liberals or nationalists of Pashtun, Punjabi etc backgrounds who were saying why no known terrorist has been arrested by army must die in shame NOW!

First they said army will not dare enter North Waziristan, then said no known terrorist will be arrested, then said why there is no crackdown against ASWJ-TTP militants in other parts of the country, now finding other excuses.

These NGO-thinktank types activists bash Pakistan army and ISI while remain completely mute on global patronage of Salafi and Deobandi terrorists by the CIA-Saudi Network. Is there no shame left?

Interestingly, it would appear that Ahmed Ludhyanvi (of banned terrorist ouftit Sipah-e-Sahaba aka ASWJ) and Al Qaeda too are now champions of IDP and Pashtun nationalism. https://lubpak.com/archives/317508

Pashtun nationalists and other TTP-ASWJ apologists freely amalgamate intolerant, alien Deobandi ideology with peaceful, local Pashtun ethnicity, and therefore tend to serve the interests of Deobandi Khawarij in the name Pashtun nationalism.

Our reservations for the Pakistan Army’s past notwithstanding, can we honestly equate the stance of the current Army leadership with that of the rabidly pro-Taliban Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his paid-for-hire judiciary and media (GEO/Jang Group)?

As things stand today, the army at worst is conducting a selective operation to remove the Taliban and other foreign Al Qaeda mercenaries from North Waziristan and push them into Afghanistan.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did not want any action against the Taliban and their urban Deobandi allies like the ASWJ-LeJ. In fact, he wanted to continue strenghtening the Taliban within Pakistan under the farcical “peace talks” that allowed the Taliban to regroup.

The false binary that is being constructed by Pakistan’s elitist liberal intelligensia between the Army and civilians needs to be properly examined for what it is. It is far more clear to view this as the fully pro-Taliban voice of the previous Army Chief, General Kiyani and his coterie of pro-Taliban judges like PCO Iftikhar Chaudhary and pro Taliban politicians like Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan. On the other side is an evolving Army position under current COAS General Raheel that at worst wants to tackle what it defines as “the bad Taliban” and at best, wants a paradigm change in the doctrine of “strategic depth”. While some of the evidence points to the first option, there are clear signs such as the rapidly increasing operations against the Deobandi-dominated Taliban and ASWJ-LeJ in Karachi and elsewhere that hold out hope for the second option. http://www.dawn.com/news/1119614/over-500-suspected-members-of-banned-outfits-arrested-in-pakistan
