A reminder to Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi

According to his fans, Imran Khan is Pakistan’s cleanest politician and the only hope of many (particularly for the newly discovered PTI lota group). However, many of his critics see him as the military establishment’s pawn who will save their fallen fortunes and dead hopes. So all political fortune hunters, opportunist, turn coats and patent lotas are rapidly joining the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf.
Further more, many youth cadres of militant groups as well as die hard right wingers (JuD, LeT, LeJ, SSP, AMTKN etc) have sworn allegiance to Kaptaan’s PTI.
There are several reason why political fortune hunters right now prefer to jump on Kaptaan’s ship. Here are two of the most important reasons: First the PTI is fully toeing the line of the establishment, and second the undemocratic nature of the PTI.
Did Imran Khan ever hold elections in PTI? The answer is: no intra-party elections has been held in the past 10 years, which has opened the door for appointment of sycophants. Many of those who were severely criticized by the PTI’s spokespersons and leaders are now being generously accepted and accommodated on high positions.
Shahid Qazi, the central vice president of PTI from Balochistan, who was also a member of PTI’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) and its core group, in his resignation letter said:
“PTI is accepting all those people who are openly working for the establishment and recent policy changes strongly point towards the policies of the military establishment,”
The following item (copy-pasted from PTI official website) is a reminder to Imran Khnan and the newly found VP of PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi about how PTI used to view Shah Mehmood’s actions and policies in the recent past when Shah Mehmood Qureshi was serving as a Foreign Minister of Pakistan Peoples party.
Statement by Foreign Minister is unwarranted and inappropriate: Saifullah Niazi
ISLAMABAD ( ) The Additional Secretary General of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Saifullah Khan Niazi has taken exception to the recent statement of the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi that Iran had no justification to pursue nuclear weapons. The statement is unwarranted and inappropriate, he added.
In a Press statement issued by Party’ s Central Media Cell on Wednesday he said such undiplomatic statements amounted to interference in the internal affairs of other countries. Who is he to sit in judgment over the policies of other countries? He asked. In presence of international aggressor and American puppet, Israel, the integrity of entire Muslim Ummah is at stake in such circumstances how can Shah Mehmood Qureshi says that Iran has no enemy.
The PTI leader said Israel poses a serious threat to Iran and Tehran has the same right to have an atomic bomb as Israel had. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, he remarked. He said it appears that shah Mahmood Qureshi has been proving himself more loyal than the king by harping on the tune of Washington. His statement has not gone down well with the people of Pakistan. Shah Mehmood Qureshi must realise that he is the foreign minister of Pakistan and not of the US, he added.

Asadullah Ghalib’s article
Iran (gov) and Saudi Arab (gov) are the two pro-Terror gov’s in the world which are playing their dirty proxy war in PAK by funding terrorism. Because LUBP is biased by its very nature (read policy), they will obviously do nothing but keep finding faults in IK and PTI. This however doesnt mean that PTI is all holy cows. There are some corrupt and opportunist entries in PTI recently, mainly SMQ.
However, the question to be asked is this : Who else is better than IK right now ?
PPP ? Obviously any person with an iota of common sense will laugh at this. PMLnqz ? Ridiculous. MQM ? Well they first prove themselves in KHI before leading the NATION ? ANP ? Well their “easy load” has done magic in PAK Railways. the Mullahz? i guess a taste of ZIA is enough for us.
So then i ask ? and i have seen this in media alot. Anti-PTI people are finding it so hard to bring an issue against IK to pull his legs ( read ET article Dear IK i beg to differ ) by putting PTI under a super microscope but have absolutely no answer to the question, who else then ?
If a credible person like IK is not of the standards of a corrupt to core nation, then kindly send a letter to HEAVEN to revise his plans and send another PROPHET.
People will leave and join PTI like any other party. If you have any REAL question, raise it instead of pulling IK legs just because you have nothing to say on your own party’s plundering of state in the name of democracy.
IK is definitely a better choice than the future Blood suckers like Bilawal, Monis and Raiwind gang.
And before crying foul on Military establishment, look into your own NRO collars.
Remember!! Nawaz Sharif lota left tahrek-e-istaqlal.
The cool customer: Magsi unimpressed by PTI’s ‘old and fundamentalist’ centralisation
HYDERABAD:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) tsunami is yet to deluge the Sindhi nationalist politics which seems impervious to the party’s shows of strength and the consequent membership blitz.
Dr Qadir Magsi, the chairman of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party, reflected this sentiment at the party’s annual workers congress on Saturday.
“The people of Sindh used to consider Imran Khan as a progressive, democratic and liberal person,” he said. “His revolutionary vision was hijacked by the establishment.”
Magsi said that Khan is bringing back centralisation of the administration. “Sindh is not interested in this old concept of centralisation, fundamentalism and Islamic welfare state that he advocates,” he asserted. “The provinces suffered under that system for a long time.”
The PTI, which was seen to embrace the political leaders and workers of all hues, was also making overtures to the nationalists. It’s vice chairman, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, called upon the chief of Sindh United Party, Jalal Mehmood Shah, a few days back in Karachi. The meeting, however, failed to win support for the party.
“PTI is the third option created by the establishment for people who are fed up with the politics of the Sharifs and Zardari,” Magsi said. He also criticised Pakistan Peoples Party for compromising the interests of Sindh by announcing schemes like Zulfiqarabad and providing employment to foreigners in the Thar Coal project.
He said that these projects will reduce Sindhis into a minority and rejected the prospect of government’s ouster before March 2012. He called the Senate elections “media hype” but made a demand for elections in 2012 under a caretaker set-up.
“The prime minister should advise the president to form a caretaker set-up and announce elections,” he said.
Magsi also announced that the nationalist parties will field joint candidates on each constituency of the national and provincial assemblies in Sindh. “I will contest from Qasimabad,” he declared.
