Today the hawker apologized to me while handing over a copy of daily Nawa-i-waqt to me and said: “Sorry! Today there is no Jang, no Express and no Aaj Kal, so please accept this good newspaper this Sunday”. There was no option left for me, that’s why I had to take Nawa-i-Waqt. I took it and reached in the courtyard. But in only 5 minutes, I managed to read the whole newspaper including Sunday Magazine because all the headings and subheadings were highly praising Nawaz Sharif like a God and there was high criticism on Government specially Asif Ali Zardari, the president.

It was very strange for me that according to this newspaper, Wiki Leaks has assured that Nawaz Sharif is the only patriot politician of Pakistan and U.S.A is afraid of Nawaz Sharif, that’s why U.S.A never wants to give government to Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. I thought that I am also following regularly Wiki Leaks news but I have not heard any news from Wiki Leaks that ensures the patriotism of Nawaz Sharif towards Pakistan. But later on exploring inside this biased newspaper, I came to know that the actual patriotism is that Nawaz Sharif denied the demand of N. W. Peterson (former U.S.A ambassador) to not support Iftikhar Chaudhary (CJ) in long march.

It is certainly fun only that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is the real politician and honest leader of Pakistan because he didn’t leave Iftikhar Chaudhary at the crucial time and didn’t stop until CJ Iftikhar Chaudhary was restored. Now, it is evident that it was not the patriotism of Nawaz Sharif for Pakistan but indeed it was his own interest. He wanted to get popularity by traditional means of long march and strike across whole Pakistan because he knew that it was very difficult time for government. Nawaz Sharif utilized the opportunity and tried his best to exploit the collision between government and judiciary. In Pakistan, the real politician is that who exploits the situation according to his own benefits and also demonstrates him as a hero in front of innocent public, and this quality is at peak in Nawaz Sharif.

It was also in Nawaz Sharif’s own benefit to not withdraw the support of Iftikhar Chaudhary because later, after the restoration of Iftikhar Chaudhary, Nawaz Sharif has made most of the benefit from our courts. All the cases against Mian brothers are not even touched. A lot of people of his party which enjoyed NRO were totally ignored by SC as a reward of Nawaz’s efforts in the restoration of Iftikhar Chaudhary. Mehran Bank Scandal, Foreign sugar mills, Ittifaq Foundry case and many other cases are buried under tons of soil which was gotten from the favour of Mian sahib for Iftikhar Chaudhary.

There is a heading in Nawa-i-Waqt that Muslim League (not mentioned which Muslim League, whether MLQ, MLF, AML, APML or MLN, but surely pointing towards Muslim League Nawaz Group) is very satisfied over the “leaks” of Wiki Leaks while Pakistan People’s Party is very worried on these “leaks”. Newspaper states that the responsible personalities of PPP give explanations about these Wiki Leaks news while the stand of Nawaz on critical national issues has openly emerged out. While the reality is that there is no need for any responsible PPP’s personality to state explanations about Wiki Leaks news because not a single “leak” is morally against government of PPP.

In fact, there is a big “leak” from Wiki Leaks about the reports of American agencies based on the political discussions between Pakistani President Zardari and U.S ambassador N. W. Peterson. This news states that N. W. Peterson offered Zardari to sign a pact that Pakistan will never fight a war against India. There was full try from U.S ambassador to make Zardari agree with U.S thought but Asif Ali Zardari totally refused the proposal. Wiki Leaks further states in that secret report leaked that Zardari said at that time that this pact is impossible and Pakistan will reply India in fierce resistance if India ever tries to attack Pakistan. Zardari said that Pakistan will never bow before India in any situation.

But the leading newspaper of Pakistan, Nawa-i-Waqt appreciates it very less but in fact praises Nawaz very much. So it is clear that this newspaper is still a pet of Nawaz Sharif as it used to be always. The big “leak” from Wiki Leaks is not even mentioned in a single line in this newspaper which was about the relations of Nawaz Sharif with Saudi Royal Family. In that “leak” it was stated that Nawaz Sharif did a compromised with Musharraf and promised to not take any part in politics and not to come in Pakistan for 10 years, and this agreement was established on the wish of Saudi Shah Abdullah. Now Wiki Leaks also leaks the extremist Deobandis network by “leaking” the news that the daughter of Nawaz Sharif is married with the grandson of Shah Abdullah. Nawa-i-Waqt, please review your strategy and bring unbiased picture of every thing in Pakistan and stop serving Nawaz Sharif.
