Deobandi Cyber-Terrorists use Facebook to threaten to kill Pakistani elected legislators – by Mahpara Qalandar

deobandIn the last few days, the Pakistani Deobandis have used Facebook to threaten Pakistan’s legislators with life for voicing their dissatisfaction with the dreadful Blasphemy Law which has resulted in the killing of a number of Muslims and non-Muslims.

Javed Hashmi and Dr Shirin Mazari of the PTI spoke against the abuse of the Law and demanded that it be modified so as to protect people from being falsely implicated in blasphemy-related accusations. It should be noted that these legislators did not say that the Law should be scrapped altogether. What they said was that its misuse should be made unlawful. However, the Takfiri-Deobandis wasted no time and announced on Facebook that anyone speaking even symbolically against the Blasphemy Law will be killed.

This is a very serious issue. The late Salman Taseer was killed precisely because he also said that the Blasphemy Law should be rationalized so that innocent people would not be victimized. For this sane suggestion, he was killed.

It is sad to note that the media or the so-called civil society has not taken any notice of this. Even the PTI chief has not defended his legislators. He is busy promoting the same Deobandis who have threatened to kill Javed Hashmi and Dr Mazari.

In many countries it is a crime to threaten a legislature. It is clear that the government of Pakistan or Pakistan’s fake liberals will do nothing to protect those who speak up for the people. But the Facebook authorities should take note and ban Deobandi groups which promote Islamofascism.
