PML-N leadership is known for being magnanimous to its benefactors. The only point that needs to be taken care of by the benefactor is that the beneficiary should only be the Sharif Family. Justice Rafiq Tarar was gifted with the Presidency of Pakistan in 1997 for delivering the judges. Rafiq Tarar has remained loyal to the Sharif Brothers ever since and even helped them being bailed out to exile in Saudi Arabia. Getting them into exile was one thing, but the most important favor he could do was to pardon the Sharif Brothers, something which no NRO Judgment of our Azad Adliya could touch.
From the current lot, if PML-N was to reward there are many a candidate. It can be Shaheen Sehbai and Ansar Abbasi who can be future Information Ministers, Asif Ezdi and Tariq Fatmi as Foreign Ministers, but the cake would be taken by Justice Khwaja Sharif. Being a renowned loyalist to the Sharif Family, he is doing his best to protect the PML-N MPA’s and MNA’s against whom fake degree cases are pending, releasing convicted terrorists and more importantly playing the role of a partisan judge.
While speaking to Hafizabad Bar Association, Justice Khwaja Sharif has supported the notorious Rana Maqbool Ahmed saying that “agar PPP ko Rana Maqbool par aitraaz hay tau Punjab hukoomat say alag ho jaye”. This is the first ever I have heard a sitting judge make such exceptional suggestions. Question to Khwaja Sharif is why should elected representatives leave government in a province for a person who is tainted with both criminal and corruption charges? Where is the reconciliation? Cant the PML-N be a little more sympathetic to its coalition partner and get a notorious person like Rana Maqbool Ahmed appointed elsewhere. This is an ideal case of rubbing salt in your wounds by PML-N while Justice Khwaja Sharif, aap kay kya kehnay!

Fauzia calls for action against LHC chief justice

ISLAMABAD: The ruling People’s Party on Wednesday criticised the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice Khwaja Mohammad Sharif, for advising the PPP to quit the Punjab government if it was unhappy with the appointment of a former police chief as prosecution secretary.
Speaking on a point of order in the National Assembly, the PPP’s information secretary, MNA Fauzia Wahab, described the ‘political statement’ by Justice Sharif as unprecedented, urging the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice.
The Lahore High Court chief justice, in a speech at a lawyers’ function in Hafizabad on Tuesday, had said: “If the PPP has objection to the appointment of Rana Maqbool (a former IGP) as secretary prosecution, then it should quit Punjab coalition (government).”
He also said he has had “cordial relations with the Sharif family for the past 40 years, but these relations had never become a hurdle in delivering justice”.
Speaking on a point of order, Ms Wahab said: “It is a strange political statement by the Chief Judge of LHC in which he advised PPP to quit the Punjab government if it feels uneasy with PML-N.” The PPP firebrand first talked to the prime minister before raising a point of order. Roars of ‘shame shame’ were heard during her brief but forceful speech.
While the house generally looked attentive, there was a marked silence on PML-N benches as no one tried to intervene or reply to the PPP leader’s speech.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani left the house as soon as Ms Wahab’s point of order was complete.
She further stated: “I would like to request Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to take suo motu notice of the LHC CJ’s extremely objectionable political statement.”
خواجہ شریف کو اگر نواز شریف اتنے ہی پسند ہیں تو انہیں چاہئے کہ استعفی دے کر مسلم لیگ میں شامل ہوجائیں، ممکن ہے اگلی بار وہ صدارتی امیدوار بنادئے جائیں۔ لیکن وہ اس طرح کسی صوبے کی چیف جسٹیس ہوکر کا خالص سیاسی بیان ججوں کی کریڈیبیلٹی کو مشکوک بنا رہے ہیں اور آزاد عدلیہ کے مخالفین اور کرپٹ سیاستدانوں کے ورثہ کو مفت موقع فراہم کررہے ہیں۔ سیاسی نظریات اور رائے رکھنا انکا حق ہے لیکن اگر وہ اسے اپنے حد تک رکھیں تو زیادہ بہتر ہے۔ اپنے اندازا آدھے درجن بیانات کی وجہ سے وہ پاکستان کے سب سے متنازعہ جج ہوچکے ہیں۔ اگر اب بھی انہوں نے اپنے ہونٹ نہ سئے تو ہم بولے گیں اور ڈٹ کے بولیں گے کہ خواجہ صاحب کو بھی ڈوگر صاحب کے پاس بھیج دیا جائے۔
جناب سچ پوچھئے تو دو شریفوں کی اس دوستی کو دیکھ کر مجھے آزاد عدلیہ کا خواب چکنا چور ہوتا محسوس ہورہا ہے۔
I agree with Ms. Fauzia Wahab, this is clearly a political statement from the apolotical office of the cheif justice of the Punjab High Court.
With so many allegations of bias against Khwaja Shareef, why does not he resign from his post.
پاکستان میں صرف وہ استعفی دیتا ہے جو بند گلی میں پھنس جائے جیسے ایوب خان پھنسے یا جیسے غلام اسحق خان یا پھر جیسے پرویز مشرف۔ اخلاقی گراونڈ پر کم از کم میری نالج میں ایسا کوئی واقعہ نہیں کہ کسی نے استعفی دے کر رخصت ہوا۔
اگر اس طرح اخلاقی بنیادوں پر استعفی کا سلسلہ چلا تو پاکستان کی آدھی کابینہ اور ممکن ہے کہ ایوان صدر بھی خالی ہوجائے۔ رحمن ملک تو ہائی کورٹ سے مستند مجرم قرار دئے جانے کے بعد سزا پا چکے ہیں لیکن وہ آج تک دوسرے مجرموں اور ملزموں کو پکڑنے میں مصروف عمل ہیں لیکن کیا انہوں نے استعفی دیا۔ کرکٹ بورڈ کے بوڑھے کھوسٹ چئیر مین نے کبھی استعفی دیا۔ بابر اعوان نے استعفی دیا، رانا ثناء اللہ نے استعفی دیا، ڈاکڑ عشرت العباد نے استعفی دیا۔
سچ تو یہ کہ پاکستان میں آوے کا آوہ بگڑا ہوا ہے لیکن ہم پاکستان ادھورا سچ بولتے ہیں، جو سیاست ہمیں نا پسند اسکی برائیاں ہمیں دیکھتی ہیں لیکن جو سیاست دان ہمیں پسند (کسی مفاد کی وجہ سے) اس کی برائیاں سے یا ہم یا تو سرف نظر لرلیتے ہیں یا پھر تاویلات کا سہارا لیتے ہیں۔ ہم کیوں نہیں کہتے کہ جناب اس حمام میں تو سبھی ننگے ہیں۔
This statement proves loyality of Khawaja Sharif with Nawaz Sharif. Atleast he has 35 years relations with Nawaz Sharif. This is like Rana Sana-ullah have take dress of Khawaja Sharif. hahahahah. both are same in given statements. Beter for Khawaja Sharif to resign from Lhore High Court and become spokes person of Nawaz League . this is beter chance to prove his loyality. Good for Asif Ali Zardari and PPP atleast they know who is disguise in the dress of black gown of Chief Justice of Lahore High Court. Thanks also for Khawaja Sharif to tell the people of Pakistan that he is open supporter of Nawaz Sharif. Now it is exam for Chief Justice to Take action against Khawaja Sharif for his political loyality and involvement in politics.
