In a yet another incident of target killings of Shia in Pakistan, two brothers were killed and their cousin critically injured in a terrorist attack in Quetta.
Hassan and Hasnain (aged between 25 to 28 years), son of Mehmood Ali known as Mehmood Leather, along with their cousin Nawaz were attacked at 07:45 pm on Art Road near Liaqat Bazar, Quetta, while they were coming back from their shop. Victims were riding in their car. They were rushed to Civil Hospital Quetta.
The deceased were the nephew of President of Kandhar Imambargah Administrative Committee.
The ulterior motives of the terrorist are to terrorize the innocent Shia community by continious target Killing in Quetta, Karachi, Dera Isamil Khan and other parts of the country.
Because of the Pakistan Army’s insistence upon the supposed distinction between good Taliban and bad Taliban, sectarian terrorist organizations Punjabi Taliban and Sipah-e-Sahaba have been able to regroup in various parts of the country and are acting freely to implement their jihadi and sectarian agenda.
Sadly, the Shia genocide in Pakistan continues to be ignored by the mainstream Pakistani media and also by social activists and human rights groups.
Terrorists are moving freely inside country specially in Quetta, Karachi and Dera Ismail Khan. There is an invisible but strong institutional support to terrorists by the real stakeholders in Pakistan, i.e., Pakistan Army.
Terrorists can easily escape from courts or from police custody while they are also released by judiciary. Recent attack on city court Karachi and escape of four Jundullah / Sipah-e-Sahaba terrorists from police custody is a clear sign of a weak grip of administration. Hundreds of doctors, professionals, businessmen, security persons, religious scholars and common Shia individuals from every walk of life have lost their lives because of sectarian and jihadi terrorists.
