A rare interview with Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi of the Sipah-e-Sahaba
posted by Abdul Nishapuri | June 17, 2010 | In Original Articles
Hear the precious words of political and ideological affiliation straight from the horse’s mouth. We are proud to publish a rare interview with Mullah Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi, head of the notorious terrorist organisation Sipah-e-Sahaba.
There are three segments of this interview.
In the first segment, Mullah Ludhianvi shows his hatred for Barelvi Muslims (by equating them with non-Muslims from India and elsewhere) and indirectly admits his organisation’s involvement in the attack on the Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession in Faisalabad.
In the second segment, Mullah Ludhianvi frankly admits his affiliation with and appreciation for the PML-N (Rana Sanaullah, Zulfiqar Khosa, Shahbaz Sharif) Government in Punjab. He also condemns Governor Salman Taseer because of the latter’s tough stance against terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba.
In the third and final segment, Mullah Ludhianvi frankly acknowledges his influence upon and affiliation with the like minded organisations including Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf and Munawar Hasan’s Jamaat-e-Islami.
Wama alaina illal balagh.
This Deoabndi Anarchist has no shame he is criticizing Barelvis for hurling Tabbarra on Deobandis whereas he should have condemned the Bida’at [Innovative] of the Procession of Eid Miladun Nabi because there is no such thing allowed in Islam. Read Fatwa of Saudi Arabia against Deobandis:
Fatwa of Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azeez ibn Baaz regarding the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh
http://www.fatwa-online.com/fataawa/creed/deviants/0010326_3.htm
Question: I went out with the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh to India and Pakistan. We used to congregate and pray in masaajid within which there were graves and I heard that the salaah in a masjid within which there is a grave is invalid. What is your opinion of my salaah and should I repeat them? What is the ruling about going out with them to these places?
Response: Indeed, the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh do not have real knowledge pertaining to issues of ‘aqeedah so it is not permissible to go out with them except for the one who has real knowledge of the correct ‘aqeedah of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah. In this, he can enlighten them, advise them and co-operate with them in good because they are active in their affairs. However, they are in need of more knowledge from those who can enlighten them amongst the scholars of Tawheed and Sunnah. May Allaah grant everyone understanding of the religion and firmness upon it.
As for the salaah in the masaajid within which are graves, then it is incorrect and it is obligatory upon you to repeat all that you did (in those masaajid) due to that which the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) said:
((Allaah has cursed the Jews and the Christians who have taken the graves of their Prophets’ as places of worship)) – it’s authenticity is agreed upon.
Also, his (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) statement:
((Indeed those before you used to take the graves of their Prophets’ and pious people as places of worship, so do not take the graves as places of worship, for certainly I prohibit you from that)), transmitted by Muslim in his Saheeh.
And the ahaadeeth on this subject are numerous – and with Allaah lies all success and may Allaah send prayers upon our Prophet Muhammed, his family and his companions.

The Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh’s lack of importance given to seeking Knowledge
http://www.fatwa-online.com/fataawa/creed/deviants/0051111.htm
Question: That which is well known about this group (Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh) is the lack of importance they place on seeking knowledge, and likewise, their dislike for those from amongst them who do seek knowledge, claiming that all the Sahaabah did not seek knowledge, and that there were only a few scholars amongst them, whilst their emphasis was more on giving da’wah?
Response: This is from ignorance, and that is for someone to place a lack of importance in (seeking) knowledge. I don’t know how their da’wah can be correct without knowledge, (for) certainly da’wah is not correct except with knowledge, as Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala) says:
{Say: “This is my way, I invite unto Allaah with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me…”}, [Soorah Yoosuf, Aayah 108]
And it is not possible for a person to become a caller (daa’ee) until he knows full well what he is calling to. So that which is obligatory for the callers (ahl ad-da’wah) is to learn first and (then) teach and call the people.

Deobandi Mullahs are sleeping and cursing Shias and Barelvis whereas Saudi Scholar is condemning Deobandis as a Deviant Sect of one of 72 Sects.
The Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh and the Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen are amongst the 72 sects
http://www.fatwa-online.com/fataawa/creed/deviants/0010326_2.htm
Question: May Allaah grant you the best (of His favours). In the hadeeth of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam), relating to the splitting of the Ummah, he says:
((…and my Ummah shall split into 73 sects…)).
So, is the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh, with what they have in terms of shirk and innovations; and also the Jamaa’ah al-Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen, with what they have in terms of partisanship and revolting/rebelling against the leaders and lack of obedience; from the 72 sects?
Response: They are from the 72 (sects). Whoever opposes the ‘aqeedah of Ahlus-Sunnah enters the fold of the 72 (sects). The meaning of the Prophet’s (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) statement ((My Ummah)) is: the Ummah of Ijaabah, i.e. the Ummah of response; those who responded to the Prophet’s call and revealed their allegiance to him. And the meaning of 73 sects: the victorious sect which adhered to him and was upright in their religion and 72 of those sects – amongst them the kuffaar, the sinners and various innovators.
So, the questioners asked: Are these two groups (Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh and Jamaa’ah al-Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen) from amongst the 72 sects?
And the Shaykh responded: Yes, they are from the amongst the 72 sects, along with the Murji’ah and other than them; the Murji’ah and the Khawaarij – some of the people of knowledge regard the Khawaarij from amongst the kuffaar, out of the fold of Islaam although amongst the 72 sects.

Fatwa of the Shaykh Muhammed Naasiruddeen al-Albaanee regarding the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh http://www.fatwa-online.com/fataawa/creed/deviants/0010326_5.htm
Question: What is your opinion concerning the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh? Is it permissible for a student of knowledge or other than him to go out with them under the guise of inviting to (the path of) Allaah?
Response: The Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh does not uphold the manhaj of the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and that which our Pious Predecessors were upon.
And if the situation was such, then it is not permissible to go out with them because it defies our manhaj in calling to the manhaj of the Pious Predecessors. So in the path of inviting to Allaah, then an ‘aalim can go out with them but as for those (ignorant – without knowledge) who go out with them, then it is obligatory upon them to remain in their countries and (study Islaam) seek knowledge in their masaajid until there graduates from amongst them people of knowledge who hold study circles inviting to the path of Allaah.
As long as the situation is like that, it is upon the student of knowledge to invite these people (those from Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh) to study the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah and invite people to it.
And the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh, with respect to da’wah to the Book and the Sunnah, do not intend by it a starting point, rather they consider that to be a divided call (da’wah)/approach; And because of this, they most resemble the Jamaa’ah of al-Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen.
They say their da’wah is based upon the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah, however this is mere idle talk for certainly they have no ‘aqeedah upon which they are united (which unites them) – so you find some are Maatureedee, others are Ash’aree, whilst others are Soofee and even some who have no madhhab (affiliation to any particular ideology).
This is because their da’wah is built upon amassing (the people), then gathering together and culturising/instructing them, and in reality they do not really have any culture. More than half a century has passed and there has not appeared from amongst them a scholar.
As for us, then we say instruct them, then gather together, such that the gathering together is based upon a foundation in which there is no doubt.
So the da’wah of the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh is that of the Soofiyyah, they call to good manners, as for correcting the differing ‘aqeedah of the group, then they do not exert themselves one iota. This is because they believe this will cause differences (and splitting apart).
It came to pass that a brother, Sa’d al-Husayn had much correspondence with the leader of the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh in India or Pakistan and it became clear from that they acknowledge (belief in) intercession and seeking help (from other than Allaah) and many other such things. And they require their people (members) to make bay’ah (oath of allegiance) based upon four issues: amongst them the Naqshbandiyyah methodology. So it is upon every tableeghee (one who ascribes to the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh) to make bay’ah of these fundamentals (issues).
A questioner may ask: Indeed this group has corrected its faults (returned to Allaah) as a result of the efforts of many individuals and quite possibly many non-Muslims have accepted Islaam at their hands. Is this not sufficient (proof) for the permissibilty of going out with them and participating in that which they call to?
So we say: Indeed we know these words and hear them a lot and know them to emanate from the Soofiyyah! For example, there is a Shaykh whose ‘aqeedah is incorrect and does not know anything about the Sunnah. Instead they deceitfully take from the wealth of the people, so together with this, many open sinners seek forgiveness from them!
So every group which invites to good, then it is imperative they should be in adherence (to the Qur.aan and the Sunnah), and (this) our approach is pure, so what are they (others) calling to?
Are they calling to adherence to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and the ;aqeedah of the Pious Predecessors, abandoning blind following of the madhhabs to such an extent that they adhere to the Sunnah over and above their madhhab!? So the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh do not have a knowledge-based (manhaj), rather, their manhaj is according to the place where they are to be found, so they change their “colours” to suit themselves.
Deobandis should shove Fatwa of Kufr in view of Saudi Fatwas against them:
Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh (Tablighi Jamat)
http://www.fatwa-online.com/deviantgroups/jamaaahattableegh/0010101.htm
Name of group – Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh, also known as Tablighi Jamat
Adherent to group – Tableeghee, also known as Tablighi, or T.J.
The da’wah of the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh is based upon spreading the merits of Islaam to everyone they are able to reach. This entails it’s adherents to give up some of their time to go out and spread and propogate the da’wah keeping well away from political and partisan issues.
It’s members are compelled into going out (khurooj) to give da’wah and mix with the Muslims in their masaajid, houses and businesses and give words of advice and encourage them to come out with them to give da’wah.
They advise that no members should get themselves involved in any quarrels with the Muslims or the government.
Foundation and major personalities
– The founder was called Shaykh Muhammad Ilyaas al-Kaandahlawee who was born in Kaandahlah, a village in the region of Sahaaranfoor in India in 1303 A.H. (1887 C.E.) (died 1364 A.H. / 1948 C.E.).
Initially, he sought knowledge in this village, then later travelled to Delhi where he completed his studies at the Madrasah Deoband which is amongst the biggest Hanafee schools in the Indian sub-continent, which was setup in the year 1283 A.H. (1867 C.E.).
He also sought knowledge under the guardianship of his older brother, Shaykh Muhammad Yahya, who was a teacher at the Madrasah Mathaahir al-‘Uloom in Sahaaranfoor.
Later, he studied under Shaykh Ashraf ‘Alee Thanwee (1280 A.H. (1863 C.E.) – 1364 A.H. (1943 C.E.)), who was known to them as ((Hakeem al-Ummah)).
Likewise, he also studied under Shaykh Mahmood Hasan (1268 A.H. (1851 C.E.) – 1339 A.H. (1920 C.E.)) who was amongst the major scholars of the Madrasah Deoband and the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh.
As for Shaykh Rasheed Ahmad al-Kankoohee, born in 1829 C.E. (died 1905 C.E.); Shaykh Muhammad Ilyaas actually gave bay’ah (oath of allegiance) to him in 1315 A.H. (1899 C.E.).
He later renewed his bay’ah (oath of allegiance) to Shaykh Khaleel Ahmad as-Sahaaranfooree who was one of the scholars of the Deobandiyyah group.
– Shaykh ‘Abdur-Raheem Shaah ad-Deobandee at-Tableeghee spent alot of time in organising the affaris of the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh along with Muhammad Ilyaas and his son Shaykh Muhammad Yoosuf after him.
– Shaykh Ihtishaam al-Hasan al-Kaandahlawee married the sister of Muhammad Ilyaas, and spent a long time commanding the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh whilst in the companionship of Shaykh Muhammad Ilyaas, its founder.
Thoughts and beliefs
The founder stipulated six maxims which he established as the fundamentals of his da’wah, with all members taking care to memorise them and propogate them in their da’wah efforts:
1) al-Kalimah at-Tayyibah (declaration of faith – ((Laa ilaaha il-Allaah Muhammad Rasool-Allaah))) ;
2) al-Khushoo’ fis-salaah (offering prayers with full concentration);
3) al-‘Ilm wadh-Dhikr (knowledge and remembrance);
4) Ikraam al-Muslimeen (honouring the Muslims);
5) al-Ikhlaas (sincerity);
6) al-Khurooj fee sabeel-Allaah (going out in the path of Allaah).
Their manner of propogating their da’wah is as follows:
A group from amongst them is designated to go to a particular area/town/country, whereby each member of the goup takes with them basic means upon which to sleep and other basic items which shall suffice.
When they arrive at their destination, they organise themselves in a manner whereby some of them begin cleaning the place where they shall be resting during their stay in the area; Whilst others amongst them will go out to the market places and the like remembering Allaah and calling the people to listen to their talk (bayaan – as they call it).
When the time for the bayaan arrives, they all gather together to listen to it. And after the bayaan has finished, they request members of the gathering to come out with them in the path of Allaah. And after Salaat al-Fajr, they divide the group of people who are present into groups where a group leader is appointed for each group. Then the group leader undertakes the responsibility of teaching his group members Soorah al-Faatihah and other small Soorah’s of the Qur.aan. They continue in this way day in day out.
Before their period of stay is over, they encourage the people of the area to come out with them to spread their da’wah, such that some people volunteer to join them for three days or a week or a month. Each one according to his ability and circumstances, their giving up their time in accordance with the saying of Allaah:
{You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind}, [Soorah Aal-‘Imraan, Aayah 110].
And the preferred time for going out is a day in a week, and three days in a month and 40 days in a year and 4 months in a lifetime.
– They refuse invitations to attend social functions made by the people of the area they have settled in for their period of da’wah; their intention being not to busy themselves with anything other than issues of da’wah and remembrance, and that their actions are soley for the sake of Allaah.
– They do not interfere in issues of forbidding the evil, believing they are at the stage of establishing an appropriate climate for Islaamic living, and that if they were to involve themselves in such issues, then this would place obstacles in their way and turn the people away from their da’wah.
– They believe that if they correct their individuals (members) one-by-one then the evil will be automatically eradicated from amongst the masses.
– That going out and propogating their da’wah da’wah to the people helps in nurturing the da’ee and cultivating his actions, such that he feels he is an example for others to follow and that he adheres to that which he is calling the people to.
– They believe that blind following a madhhab is obligatory, and they do not permit ijtihaad, believing that the conditions of a mujtahid (one who is qualified to make ijtihaad) are not present amongst the scholars of this time.
– They have been affected by the ways of the Soofiyyah, whose da’wah is widespread in the Indian sub-continent. For example:
– It is imperative for every member of the Jamaa’ah at-Tableegh to have a Shaykh to whom he makes bay’ah (oath of allegiance) to, and whoever was to die whilst not having made bay’ah, then he has died the death of those in pre-Islaam. And often is the case that the bay’ah takes place in a public gathering so as to encourage all present to do likewise and give them all an impression that they are all in this together as one group. And the same is done amongst the women also.
– Excessive love and respect is shown to the Shaykh to whom bay’ah has been given, as is excessive love shown to the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam), that which often takes them out of the fold of displaying appropriate respect to the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam).
– Their belief that the way of the Soofiyyah is the closest way to taste the sweetness of eemaan in the heart.
– Their being taught the names of the major personalities of the Soofiyyah such as ‘Abdul-Qaadir al-Jeelaanee, who was born in Jeelaan in 470 A.H., and also as-Sahrooree, and Abu Mansoor al-Maatureedee who died in 332 A.H., and Jalaal ad-Deen ar-Roomee who was born in 604 A.H., who wrote the book al-Mathnawee.
– They have been affected by the way of the Soofiyyah, in particular the Chishtiyyah, the Qaadiriyyah, the Naqshbandiyyah and the Sahroordiyyah in India.
– There are some members who claim to have adopted the thoughts of the Jamaa’ah an-Noor of Turkey.
– Their da’wah is based upon the arousal of interest and intimidation combined, and thereby causing emotive and affective feelings. They have, thereby managed to enlist in the name of eemaan, many who have immersed themselves into sins and desires, and have directed them to worship and remembrance.
– They do not speak about political issues, and discourage their members from getting involved in these problematic issues, criticising those who do get involved. They say that politics is to leave politics.
– They misinterpret the ahaadeeth pertaining to jihaad, claiming it means to go out and give da’wah, this being to such an extent that their members quite possibly have forgotten about the real meaning of jihaad in the path of Allaah.
– They are very lenient when it comes to narrating weak ahaadeeth.
– Their main points of reference appear to be the Qur.aan and the Sunnah, however, in terms of ‘aqeedah, they turn to the understandings of their founding Shaykhs of the Indian sub-continent, and that being the ‘aqeedah of the Maatureediyyah upon the Hanafee madhhab.
– In the Arab lands they make a point of referring to Imaam an-Nawawee’s Riyaadh as-Saaliheen, whereas in non-Arab lands they refer to the Tableeghee Nisaab (Tablighi Nisab) and Hayaah as-Sahaabah (Hayat Al-Sahabah), and this being full of incorrect information and weak ahaadeeth.
Their da’wah began in India, and then spread to Pakistan and Bangladesh, then later spreading to the rest of the Islaamic world, even in Arabia – such that they now have followers in Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Sudan, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
They also have followers in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
Their worldwide headquarters is in Nizaamuddeen in Delhi, where they administer their da’wah affairs worldwide. Their headquarters in the western world is in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, UK.

“QUOTE”
1. Do not try to understand the Qur’ân ever. Else, you will go astray. Fifteen “Uloom” (sciences) are required to understand the Book. (“Maulana” Zakaria Kandhalwi, Fazael Amaal, p.2)
2. Do not read the Qur’ân with understanding, you will go astray. (Fazaael Aamal, “Maulana” Ashraf Ali Thanwi, p. 216)
It is mentioned in Aamaal-e-Qur’aani, p. 134 by Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi [published by Jasim Book Depot, Urdu Bazaar, Jama Masjid, Delhi] that if a woman has excessive menstrual bleeding, the verse (Surah Al-‘Imran: 3:144) should be written on three different pieces of paper, one tied on her right and the other on her left and the third piece of paper with the Qur’ânic verse to be hung below the naval. This verse of the Qur’aan, “Muhammad (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah, and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful.” [Surah Al-‘Imran: 3:144]
3. Delaying prayer once will cause a person to burn in the hellfire for 20.88 million years, just because he or she failed to pray on exact time. (“Maulana” Zakaria Kandhalwi, Fazaael Namaz, p.317)
4. Recite the whole Qur’ân in one raka’ah like saints did! [That will amount to more than 50 times of the whole Qur’ân in a single day!] (Fazaael Namaz p.64.) Saints recite 2,000 raka’ahs every day. They keep standing the full one month of Ramadhan reciting the Qur’ân twice a day! (Tableegh-I-Nisab Fazaael Aamal)
5. “Maulana” Ashraf Ali Thanwi separated the way of Salat between men and women in his book “Bahishti Zever.” (Masjid Tauheed, Karachi. Muhammad Sultan)
6. When Shah Waliullah was in his mother’s womb, she said a prayer. Two tiny hands (too) appeared for prayer. She was frightened. Her husband said, “You have Qutubul-Aqtab (Wali of Walis) in your womb (Hikayat-e-Awlia, p. 17 Ashraf Ali Thanwi) What a break-through!
7. Junaid Baghdadi was sitting when a dog crossed by. He merely glanced at the dog. The dog reached such glory that all dogs of the town followed him. Then he sat down and all dogs sat around him in meditation. (Ashraf Ali Thanwi. Imdad-ul- Mushtaq)
8. The holy messenger came to Shah Waliullah (in the 18 century!) and said, “Why do you worry? Your children are the same as mine.” (Ashraf Ali Thanwi, Hikayat-ul-Awlia)
9. The prophet laid the foundation of Darul-Uloom, Deoband, India (in the 19th century) He comes to check accounts of the school. He has learnt the Urdu language. (Mubasshirat-e-Darul Uloom, and Deoband Number of the Darul-Uloom)
10. Mulla Mohammad Qasim Nanotwi saw in his dream that he was sitting in the lap of Allaah. (Biography of Mulla Qasim by Mulla Mohammad Yaqoob Nanotwi)
11. The advent of another Prophet is quite possible. (Mulla Abdul Hai Farangi Mahli and Mulla Qasim Nanotwi, Tahzeer-in-Nas, p.34, Athar Ibn Abbas, p.16)
Why blame Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani only?
12. Disrespect to a monk is more perilous than disrespect to Allaah. (Mulla Ashraf Ali Thanwi, Al-Ashraf, p.23, Nov. 1991)
13. Dear reader, now read what p.154 “ Islam or Maslak Parasti” says: According to the Qur’ân anything dedicated to other than Allaah in forbidden. It is our maulvi mind who declare virtuous such things as Koondas of Ja’afar Sadiq, halwa of Shabe barat in the name of Owais Qarni, haleem and sherbet of Imam Hussain and Niaz of the 11th in the name of Jeelani!
14. Risala Tazkara of Darul-uloom Deoband of 1965 claims: Anyone suffering from malaria who took dust from the grave of “Maulana” Yaqoob Nanotwi and tied this dust to his body, found instant relief.
15. Allaah cuts jokes with the Ulama of Deoband. One of them went to a well for “Wudu” (Ablution) He lowered the bucket in the well. It came back full of silver. The Holy man said to Allaah: Don’t kid around! I am getting late for prayers. He lowered the bucket in again and this time it came back full of gold. (Risala Tazkara of Darul-uloom Deoband of April 1965)
16. In the night of Meraj (Ascension) Imam Ghazali rebuked Prophet Moses. Mohammed said, ” Respect O’ Ghazali!” (Malfoozat Haaji Imdaadullaah Muhaajir Makki, Imdad-ul- Mushtaq) by Ashraf Ali Thanwi.
[Please note that Ghazali was born centuries after passing away of the holy prophet]
17. Take the right arm of a goat after Friday prayers. Be completely naked. Write Sura Yasin and the name of the person you want, then put the meat in the cooking pot. That person will fall in love with you. (Monthly “Khalid” Deoband Darul Uloom)
18. If you want to kill your enemy write A to T on a piece of bread. Recite Surah “RA’AD.” Break the bread into five pieces and feed them to five dogs. Say to dogs, ‘Eat the flesh of my enemy’. By the will of Allaah your enemy will have huge boils on his body. (Darul uloom Deoband “Khalid”)
19. Say “Fazabooha” before you cut a melon, or any thing else (for that matter), you will find it sweet. (Aamale-Qurani, Ashraf Ali Thanwi)
20. Recite the verse “When the heaven will split.” Write it (on a piece of paper) and tie to the left thigh of any woman in labor, child birth will become easy. Cut the hair of that woman and burn them between her thighs, childbirth will be easier still. (Aamal-e-Qurani, Ashraf Ali Thanwi)
21. During labor pains let the woman hold Mawatta Imam Malik for instant delivery. (Aamal-e-Qurani, Ashraf Ali Thanwi)
22. See what “Hakeemul Ummat” Thanwi says! Keep reciting “Al Mughni” during sex and the woman will love you. (same book, Ashraf Ali Thanwi)
23.The prophet laid foundation of Darul-Uloom, Deoband, India (in the 19th century). He comes to check accounts of the school. He has learnt Urdu language. (Mubasshirat-e-Darul Uloom, and Deoband Number of the Darul-Uloom)
24. When, “Maulana” Zakaria, the father of “Maulana” Yousuf Bannuri would fall sick, the prophet would come. He told the house servant, “Badshah Khan! I (the holy prophet), am also serving Zakaria. (Bayyanat 1975 Ashraf Ali Thanwi p. 7)
25. The prophet said to sister-in-law of Haaji Imdaadullaah Muhajir Makki, “Get up! I will cook meals for guests of Imdaadullaah.” (Bayyanat p. 8, Ashraf Ali Thanwi)
26. “Maulana” Yousuf Ludhianwi taught a simple method to make interest (usury) Halal. Borrow from a non-Muslim. (Masaail-e-Jadeedah)
27. The wife of Mullah Jalaaluddin Rumi thought that his sexual desire had vanished. The Mullah came to know of her suspicion in a special trance of revelation (KASHF). That night he went to the wife and drilled her 70 times. (Please excuse the language) So much so that she asked forgiveness. (Manaqib-il-Arifain, p.70, by Shamsuddin Akhlaqi)
Now please witness how far these Mujaddith’s of Deoband can go! See what garbage Mulla Ashraf Ali Thanwi is trying to unload. The same Thanwi whom other Mullahs call “Hakeem-ul-Ummat”!
28. He writes on p.110 in “Imdaadul Mushtaq”: There was a true monotheist. People told him if delicious food is part of the person of Allaah and feces too is a part of Him, eat both. Well, the Sheikh first became a pig and ate feces. Then he became a human being and ate food! Isn’t that height of “wisdom” of our wise of the nation!”
29. Here is another pearl of wisdom from him: There was a Pir Sadiq from Ashraf Ali Thanwi’s town. He taught his disciples “There is no God but Allah and Sadiq is His messenger.” {Astaghfirullaah} The wise of the nation Thanwi declared that teaching OK. (Imane Khalis, p.109, Hazrat Masood Uthmani)
30. The holy messenger comes to Mulla Qasim Nanotwi and other big shots of Deoband, U.P to learn Urdu. He also checks accounts of the Madrasah. (Numerous references such as Haqaiq-o-Maarif, Deoband May 1975).
31. “Maulana” Yousuf Bannuri writes: The Prophet told my father, Zakaria! When you fall sick I also fall sick. Hazrat Ali had come to conduct the marriage of my father and mother. (In the 19th century!) (Iman-e-Khalis, pp. 7 and 8, Masooduddin Usmani, Fazil Uloom Deenia)

In the same book we read:
“Deobadiyaat is a form of Wahabiyath their ideology is to disrespect the Saints, every Deobandi is a Wahabi, and not every Wahabi is a Deobandi. Deobandi’s become Hanafi and those that are not Deobandis call themselves Ahl-e-Hadith. They possess a great deal of kufr beliefs. The Wahabis and Ahl e Hadith tend to adhere to the work “Taqwiyat ul Iman” and call it the truth. The Deoband apostates acknowledging their kufr beliefs still call them Muslims, under Islamic Law they are therefore both kaffir and should be punished accordingly” [“Tajhahib Ahl ul Sunnah” by Naasir Sunniyath Abu Tahir Muhammad Thabib Siddiqui Dhana Purri, published Markazi Anjuman Huzbul Aynaf Lahore, Bareylvi Electorate Press 1361 Hijri]

Wow Sir you’ve got wonderful knowledge !
Thanks for sharing it with us !
You are welcome. Life is sacred and this should be very crystal clear [look around Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan] Pakistanis should learn some lessons and should go to Masjid and offer Special Prayers with Qunoot-e-Nazila and repent.
The way this guy was speaking was totally expressing the body language of a politician, not a religious leader; although he didn’t admit the direct involvement of his party in different incidents of violence, but we all know what this organization is all about.

You are wrong absolutely wrong about my political affiliation. Now back to Mullahs:
Dear Kashif Sahab,
You are lecturing me to read Quran and Sunnah now read what “The Great Mullahs Imams” are saying rather advising to not to read Quran.
Do not try to understand the Qur’ân ever. Else, you will go astray. Fifteen “Uloom” (sciences) are required to understand the Book. (“Maulana” Zakaria Kandhalwi, Fazael Amaal, p.2)
Do not read the Qur’ân with understanding, you will go astray. (Fazaael Aamal, “Maulana” Ashraf Ali Thanwi, p. 216)
Now Read What the Real Imams have to say about “Blindly Following the Mullahs”, they have restrained us to blindly following them so why we should follow present day Mullahs.
Linguistically, taqleed means: Placing something around the neck, which encircles the neck. Technically it means: Following he whose sayings is not a proof (hujjah).
Exlcuded from our saying, “following he whose saying is not a proof” is: following the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW).
“Indeed the people of Truth and the Sunnah do not follow anyone [unconditionally] except the messenger of Allaah SAW, the one who does not speak from his desires – it is only revelation revealed to him.” [by Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah, Majmoo’ah al-Fataawaa, vol 3, page 216, Daar Ibn Hazm Print, Trans: Aboo ‘Abdis-Salaam]
Interpretation of the Meaning:
O you who believe! Obey Allâh and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allâh and His Messenger (SAW), if you believe in Allâh and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination. [The Noble Qur’an 4:59]
Abu Haneefah (d. 150H) (rahimahullaah) said: “Adhere to the athar (narration) and the tareeqah (way) of the Salaf (Pious Predecessors) and beware of newly invented matters for all of it is innovation” [Reported by As-Suyootee in Sawn al Mantaq wal-Kalaam p.32]
Ibn al-Qayyim said,
” And it is as Abu Umar (ibn Abdul Barr) said: Indeed, the people do not differ about the fact that knowledge is the realisation attained from proof, but without proof, it is only taqleed.”
Ibn al-Qayyim said,
“There are three sayings about the permissibility of giving fatwaa based upon taqleed:
1) It is not permissible to give fatwaa based upon taqleed, because it is not knowledge; since issuing a fatwaa without knowledge is forbidden. This is the saying of most of the Hanbalee scholars and the majority of the Shaafi’iyyah.
2) That it is permissible with regards to himself, but it is not permissible to give a fatwaa to others based upon taqleed.
3) That it is permissible when there is a need for it, and there is no mujtahid scholar. And this is the most correct of the sayings and is what is acted upon.”‘
Imam Ibn Katheer, rahimahullaah, said:
“And what is apparent, and Allaah knows best, is that it is general for all those who are in authority (oolul-amr), from the rulers and the scholars.”
Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said:
“This is why those who are in authority are of two groups: the scholars and the rulers. If they are upright, the people will be upright; if they are corrupt, the people will be corrupt.”
“It should be realised that the rulers are to be obeyed if they command what knowledge necessitates. So obedience to them follows on from obedience to the scholars. Indeed obedience is only in that which is good and that which is obligated by knowledge. So just as obedience to the scholars follows on from obedience to the Messenger, then obedience to the rulers follows on from obedience to the scholars.” [Imaam Ibn al-Qayyim, r.a.]
The Problem
“Blind” following refers to following a person (including self) when the instructions are clearly not in accordance with Qur’an and Sunnah. To do so is a form of shirk, because at its core is a denial of a part of the Revelation, and to deny a single ayat of Revelation is to deny it all.
Many muslims treat the noble Imaams (Imaam Shafii, Imaam Malik, etc.) as though their words are protected from error. For some people, the words of an Imaam are taken as “gospel” and followed exclusively (as if it were revelation). Even if a verse from the Quraan or an authentic saying of the Messenger is brought as an argument against what their chosen Imaam said, their followers forsake what Allah or the Messenger, saaws, said and follow their Imaams. This dangerous position leads to blind taqleed (following) of humans at the expense of revelation.
One such example of this is that Imaam Malik did not raise his hands during the takbeer because they had been crippled to where he could not raise them as should be done in the salah. Muslims who choose to blindly follow Imaam Malik will not raise their hands during the takbeer, even though their is clear proof to do so. There are examples too numerous to list here, examples of senseless adherence to the ways or teachings of men, teachings that are contradictory to the proof.
Some muslims blindly follow modern leaders (such as W. Deen Mohammed, the Tableegh, or the highly deviating Imaam at the local masjid), even when the man calls the people to actions and beliefs that are clearly opposing Quran and Sunnah. Once again, this is an act of elevating a person’s words over the Speech of Allah (i.e. the Quran), if at any time we reject the clear revelation and instead act upon or embrace the contrary teachings of a person.
Just like we are to obey our parents unless they call us to the haram (prohibited), we may follow the guidance of men unless they call us to error.
This condition of ignorance and blind following was given by Revelation from Allah to the Messenger, Muhammed, saaws, who said:
Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but (this is done) by causing (the death) of the scholars until none of them is left alive. People would then appoint ignorant leaders for themselves who would be consulted in matters of religion and they would give Fatawas without knowledge, falling into misguidance and misguiding others. [Muslim].
Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, rahimahullaah, said:
“And the four Imaams, may Allaah be pleased with them, all forbade the people from blindly following them in all that they may say; and this was an obligation upon them [to do].”
Abu Haneefah (rahimahullaah) said:
“When a hadeeth is found to be saheeh, then that is my madhhab.” [Ibn ‘Aabideen in al-Haashiyah (1/63) and in his essay Rasm al-Mufti (1/4 from the Compilation of the Essays of Ibn ‘Aabideen), Shaikh Saalih al-Fulaani in Eeqaaz al-Himam (p. 62) and others. Ibn ‘Aabideen quoted from Sharh al-Hidaayah by Ibn al-Shahnah al-Kabeer, the teacher of Ibn al-Humaam]
“It is haram (prohibited) for someone who does not know my evidence to give fatwaa (verdicts) on the basis of my words.” Another narration adds, “… for we are mortals: we say one thing one day, and take it back the next day.” [Ibn ‘Abdul Barr in Al-Intiqaa’ fi Fadaa’il ath-Thalaathah al-A’immah al-Fuqahaa’ (p. 145), Ibn al-Qayyim in I’laam al-Mooqi’een (2/309), Ibn ‘Aabideen in his Footnoes on Al-Bahr ar-Raa’iq (6/293) and in Rasm al-Mufti (pp. 29, 32) & Sha’raani in Al-Meezaan (1/55) with the second narration. Similar narrations exist on the authority of Abu Haneefah’s companions Zafar, Abu Yoosuf and ‘Aafiyah ibn Yazeed; cf. Eeqaaz (p. 52). Ibn al-Qayyim firmly certified its authenticity on the authority of Abu Yoosuf in I’laam al-Mooqi’een (2/344).]
“When I say something contradicting the Book of Allah the Exalted or what is narrated from the Messenger (saaws), then ignore my saying.” [Al-Fulaani in Eeqaaz al-Himam (p. 50), tracing it to Imaam Muhammad and then saying, “This does not apply to the mujtahid, for he is not bound to their views anyway, but it applies to the muqallid.”]
Imaam Maalik ibn Anas (rahimahullaah) said:
“Truly I am only a mortal: I make mistakes (sometimes) and I am correct (sometimes). Therefore, look into my opinions: all that agrees with the Book and the Sunnah, accept it; and all that does not agree with the Book and the Sunnah, ignore it.” [Ibn ‘Abdul Barr in Jaami’ Bayaan al-‘Ilm (2/32), Ibn Hazm, quoting from the former in Usool al-Ahkaam (6/149), and similarly Al-Fulaani (p. 72)]
Imaam Shaafi’i (Rahimahullaah) said:
“The sunnahs of the Messenger of Allah (saaws) reach, as well as escape from, every one of us. So whenever I voice my opinion, or formulate a principle, where something contrary to my view exists on the authority of the Messenger of Allah (saaws), then the correct view is what the Messenger of Allah (saaws) has said, and it is my view.” [Related by Haakim with a continuous sanad up to Shaafi’i, as in Taareekh Dimashq of Ibn ‘Asaakir (15/1/3), I’laam al-Mooqi’een (2/363, 364) & Eeqaaz (p. 100).]
Ahmad ibn Hanbal (rahimahullaah) said:
“Do not follow my opinion; neither follow the opinion of Maalik, nor Shaafi’i, nor Awzaa’i, nor Thawri, but take from where they took.” [Fulaani (p. 113) & Ibn al-Qayyim in I’laam (2/302).]
“Do not copy your Deen from anyone of these, but whatever comes from the Prophet (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) and his Companions, take it; next are their Successors, where a man has a choice.”
“Following (ittibaa’) means that a man follows what comes from the Prophet (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) and his Companions; after the Successors, he has a choice.” [Abu Daawood in Masaa’il of Imaam Ahmad (pp. 276-7)]
“The opinion of Awzaa’i, the opinion of Maalik, the opinion of Abu Haneefah: all of it is opinion, and it is all equal in my eyes. However, the proof is in the narrations (from the Prophet (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) and his Companions).” [Reference: Ibn `Abdul Barr in Jaami’ Bayaan al-‘Ilm (2/149).]
“Whoever rejects a statement of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) is on the brink of destruction.” [Ibn al-Jawzi (p. 182)2)]
Muslims should be obedient to their Imam except when given evidence that is clearly contrary to the Imam’s guidance on any particular matter. This evidence should be from the Qur’an and/or Sunnah, as explained by the righteous Islamic scholars of the first three generations of righteous muslims after the revelation of the Qur’an.
Sharh Usool ul-I’tiqaad (1/9) – Imaam al-Laalikaa’ee (d. 418H) (rh) said:
“That which is most obligatory upon a Muslim:
And among the mightiest of statements and clearest of proofs and understandings is:
1. The Book of Allaah, the Manifest Truth
2. Then the saying of the Messenger of Allaah
3. And of his Companions, the chosen, pious ones
4. Then that which the Salaf us-Saalih were unanimously agreed upon
5. The holding fast to all of that and remaining firm upon it till the Day of Judgement
6. Then turning away from the innovations and from listening to them – from amongst those things the astray people have invented”
You are in disagreement with Late Yousuf Ludhyianvi but not ready to give right of disagreement with Mullahs to others. By the way you are against Yousuf Ludhiyanvi because he has exposed Mawdudi, Jamat-e-Islami and their blasphemous Beliefs regarding Prophets [PBUT] and Sahaba Kiram [Razi Allah Ta’ala Anha]
Read how Mawdudi used Tabbarah:
A literal translation of a letter entitled: “Tanqeed aur Haqqe Tanqeed” which appeared in the Dhul-Hijjah of the Bayanaat – Karachi by Maulana Muhammad Yoosuf Ludhianwi
Dearest,
Assalamualaykum,
You have a high regard for Maulana Sayyid Abdul Aa’la Maududi. This question may be surprising and shocking to you that why the respected elders of the Ummah are up in arms against Janab Maulana Sayyid Abdul Aa’la Maududi and his ‘Islamic Movement’. I ask you that why did the Ulama oppose Sir Sayyid Ahmed Khan’s ‘Islaah Islam’ movement, Abdullah Chackralwi’s ‘Qur’aanic Movement’, Ghulam Ahmed Parvez’s ‘Tulu Islam’ movement, Dr. Fazkyrragnab’s renewal of Islam movement and the progressive Islam movement of the socialists?
In answer you will say that each of these, according to their understanding, created a blueprint in their minds and made this their basic standard and foundation. Thereafter, whatever suited and met their standards from the Islam of Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam was incorporated into it, and whatever was unsuitable or against their mode of thinking was either abused, ridiculed, jeered, made a joke of and explained away or far-fetched meanings and interpretations were given so that the original meaning was erased. Obviously their thoughts, senses, feelings, and hearts were not subordinate to Islam, but rather the acceptance or rejection of the tenets of ‘Islam’ was at the mercy of their set-standards. It was incumbent upon the Ulama to tear apart this ‘Is- lamic Talisman’ and bring forward the original Islam of Muhammad SallalLahu alaihi wa Sallam, which has been preserved for the last fourteen hundred years in people against this new calamity of ‘Islamic Thinkers’. You know that the Ulama of this Ummah have carried out their duties whilst disregarding all obstacles. They have been sworn at; they have been painted with all types of labels; they have been ridiculed; they have been pierced with the arrows of accusations; but they (the Ulama) had to carry out their duty, and have verily tried to do so. As long as they have life and the power of speech in them, it must not be expected that they will refrain from committing the “offence” of calling a spade a spade, or day a day, and night a night.
Now listen! In the same manner Janab Maududi Saheb conceived and created a blueprint, which he presented as the ‘Islamic Movement’, and on which foundation the ‘Jamaat Islami’ came into existence. Today his ‘Jamaat Islami’ has an imprint on the big and small. Allah forbid, my intention is not to convey this, that the law that applies to the previously mentioned individuals also applies to Janab Maududi, as there is a difference in rank and grade. The reason for giving the examples of ‘layer upon layer of darkness’ is only to stress that these people fail to understand the True Islam.
They are unanimous in creating a new path and a new map for Islam. It is a different question that the path of some are totally different from the teachings of Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam and some have a few differences. What doubt is there in this that all of them have, through the medium of their understanding and thinking, put forward ‘their Islam’ to the masses. They have proclaimed it to be the truth and have invited the people towards it.
There is a proverb in Arabic: ‘For everything that falls, there is one who will find it’. Everyone surely finds someone with whom one shares common ideas and thoughts. This is a brief answer to your Question. But I feel this will not satisfy you, hence I will have to elaborate on it. In today’s discussion I invite you to think and ponder on one point only. You must have read in the constitution of the Jamaat Islami this sentence from the pen of Janab Maududi Saheb:
“No human should be made a ‘Measure of Truth’ besides Rasulullah Sallallehu alaihi we Sallam, no one should be regarded as free from ‘criticism’, no one should be engrossed in the ‘mental slavery’ of anyone. As Allah has shown, everyone should with a complete standard examine and inspect every person, and according to that measure, whatever grade befits a person, that person should be regarded as such”.
In this constitutional belief, Janab Maududi Saheb has induced every member of the ‘Jamaat’ – whatever position one holds – not to think that any human Is above criticism besides Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam, nor should one fall under the sway of another’s ‘mental slavery’, and with the examining powers that Allah Ta’aala has given Maududi Saheb and his ‘Jamaat’, everyone should be pecked at and examined. After attaining the results, whatever grade one attains should be conferred on that person. Now let us read from the ‘Maududi Mazhab’ and see that while criticizing, how Maududi Saheb has peeled and skinned the Salaf (pious predecessors). Listen, Maududi Saheb says that:
1. The example of Moosa Alaihis salaam is of that hasty victorious commander, who marches forward without strengthening and estabilishing his authority, and behind him mutiny spreads in the conquered lands like wild fire in a jungle. (Maududi Mazhab, page 23)
2. The danger of the highway robbery of a mischievous soul also confronts the Ambiyaa. An illustrious Prophet like Dawood Alaihis salaam was warned on an occasion that.”..and follow not desire that beguile thee from the way of Allah’. Surah Saad: 27 (Ibid page 21)
3. Dawood Alaihis salaam became influenced with the customs of the Israeli society of his time and requested Orya to give a divorce. (Ibid page 24)
4. Dawood Alaihis salam had a speck of carnal desire in his deeds. (Ibid Page 25)
5. Human weaknesses overcame Nuh Alaihis salaam snd he became a prey to the passion of Jahiliyyah. (Ibid page 26)
6. Actually Ismat (chastity) is not a requisite with the soul of the Ambiyaa. This is a Lateef (delicate) point. Allah Ta’aala had intentionally lifted His protection at some time or the other from every Nabi, so that one or two trangressions are committed, hence the people may not regard the Ambiyaa as gods, and will know that these are human too. (Ibid page 30)
7. The Ambiyaa trangress too, they are even punished. (Ibid page 31)
8. Younus Alaihis salaem committed a few deficiencies in the fulfilling of the Faraa’id of Risalat, and probably became impatient and left his position before time. (Ibid page 35)
9. The Sahaabah were at times overcome with human shortcomings; they reviled one another (read the balance of this paragraph on page 56. I am ashamed of copying it further).
10. The Sahaabah Kiraam many a time erred in understanding the original spirit of Jihaad fi Sabilillah. (Ibid page 59)
11. Once a humble person like (Abubakr) Siddique Akbar who was immersed in Lillahiyyat (the way of Allah) erred (blundered) in fulfilling a delicate demand of islam.
12. Personal greatness overcame and made Umar Radhiallahu Anhu helpless for a few moments at the time of the demise of Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam. (Ibid page 60)
13, Hazrat Uthman, on whom the burden of this great duty (of Khilafat) was placed, did not possess the qualifications that were granted to his noble predecessors. Therefore, Jahiliyyah found an inlet to creep into the social code of Islam. (Ibid page 65)
14. The verdicts of the Khulafaa Raashideen, which they issued as Qadis, did not become law in Islam. (Ibid page 66)
15. Hadhrat Uthman, one after the other, appointed his relatives to high posts, and gave them other such concessions, which generally became a source of criticism among the people. (Ibid page 71)
16. For example he bequeathed on Marwan one fifth (5 lakh Dinars) from the booty of Africa. (Ibid page 71)
17. History reveals, and it truly shows, that Marwan and Yazeed are despised personalities among the Muslim Ummah. These are the softest words that could be said regarding Marwan and Yazeed. (Faraan monthly September 1976, page 42)
18. These policies of Uthman Radhiallahu Anhu are without doubt, erroneous. A wrong will remain a wrong, irrespective of who commits it. To try and prove it correct by oratory or fabrications is not the demand of logic and justice, nor is it the requirement of the Deen, that an error of a Sahaabi should not be called an error. (Maududi Mazhab, page 73)
19. One very despicable Bid’ah began during the reign of Hadhrat Mu’aawiyah, that he himself, and by his orders, all his governors, while delivering Khutbas on the minbars reviled Hadhrat Ali Radhiallahu Anhu. To revile and swear a person after his demise, forget the Shari’ah, it was against human etiquette to do so, and especially to soil the Jum’ah Khutbah with such filth is a very debased act according to the Deen and etiquette. (Ibid page 75)
20. The effort of joining together (Istilhaaq) Ziyaad bin Simayyah are also among those acts of Hadhrat Mu’aawiyah Radhiallahu Anhu, wherein because of political reasons he contravened an accepted law of the Shari’ah. (Ibid page 76)
21. Hadhrat Mu’aawiyah Radhiallahu Anhu in trying to make him (Ziyaad) his supporter and helper took evidence on the adultery of his father (Abu Sufyaan). And after concluding proof therof, made Ziyaad his (Abu Sufyaan’s) illegitimate son, and on that source made him his brother and a member of the family, This and in whatever manner it may be despised morally, is evident. But according to law, this is an illicit thing, because in the Shari’ah paternity is not proven from adultery. (Ibid page 77)
22. Amr bin Al’aas committed two such acts, that there is no way out but to call it wrong. (Ibid page 84)
23. Hadhrat Ali appointed Malik bin Haarith and Muhammad bin Abu- bakr as governors, whereas, these two people had a hand in the murder of Unman. This is known to everybody. During the entire reign of Ali Radhiallahu Anhu this is the only deed that it seems, cannot be called anything else but wrong. (Ibid page 85)
24. Hadhrat Aysha Radhiallahu Anha and Hafsah Radhiallahu Anha became bold, and began to ’stretch their tongues’ in the presence of Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam. (Ibid page 88)
25. After studying History it is found that until now, no thorough Mujaddid was born. It was near that Umar bin Abdulaziz attained that position, but he was not successful. (Ibid page 91)
26. In the reviews of Immam Ghazali, there are a few Ilmi and Fikri flaws, and that may be distributed into three portions. One type is those flaws, that resulted in his works due to the poor knowledge of Hadith, the second type from among those flaws is due to the Aqliyyah overpowering his mind and the third type from among these flaws is his leening towards Tasawwuf more than that which was necessary. (Ibid page 92)
27. And we note this ‘Jahalah’ – with the exception of a very small Jamaat – among the general Muslims from East to West, be they from illiterate public; or graduate Ulama; or mendicant Mashaa’ikh; or graduates of colleges or universities. The thoughts, ways and manners of all these are different, but they are unanimous in not knowing the truth and soul of Islam. (Ibid page 19)
I have presented a few drops from the enraged ocean of Janab Maududi Saheb’s criticism. All this, according to his own assertion, is written after examining by the ’standards’ shown by Allah. I do not wish to discuss or debate each point. Think for yourself that after all these criticism what picture is formed of Islam in the mind. Nevertheless, I feel that for your convenience a few basic points should be presented
The instruction of Janab Maududi Saheb that besides Rasulullah Sallallahu alihi wa Sallam no human is above Tanqeed (criticism). Before thinking of its outcome, first ponder that what is Tanqeed (criticism)? (The Oxford dictionary says it is judging of merit; critical observation). Tanqeed is an Arabic word which means to gauge, assay, examine, inspect, test and to ascertain the truth from untruth. In the Urdu asuage it means to be catious, seize on trifling faults, reveal shortcomings: i.e. Tanqeed will mean that after examining a thing, an error is ascertained, then its weak precints are proclaimed. When we say that a certain person criticised someone, then nothing else will be understood besides that the weak points of the person criticised are brought to light. That person was examined and all faults and shortcomings were revealed.
Whatever thing or person that is the centre of criticism, the first picture that comes to mind regarding that thing or person is that it or that person is not reliable, hence it or that person needs examining. Only after an examination could it be ascertained whether this thing or person is reliable, because that which is hundred percent reliable does not necessitate an examination. I am sure you have not yet seen a wise person in this world, who goes around examining reliable things. It is an accepted fact that, there is no necessity to test or inspect reliable things or personalities. Those things that are wothy of criticism, are not reliable. For example, regarding weights and measures that are stamped by the government and used in commerce, one will not find people while purchasing articles going around, asking merchants: “Mister, are these measures and weights used by you correct or not?”. After being stamped by the government these weights and measures are above criticism, and do not need any further examination. After all this, if one is found to do so, what shall be said of him?
Now, when Maududi Saheb tells us that no human besides Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam is above criticism, then, nothing else is meant, but, that save Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam, no human is reliable before us. Janab Maududi Saheb labels this reliability as ‘mental slavery’, and that none should be influenced by the ‘mental slavery’ or any human besides that of Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi waSallam.
For this reason, according to his own picture of Islam, he has not granted the verdicts of the Khulafaa Raashideen as legally lawful, whereas, Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam has in strong terms advised his Ummah to strongly hold onto the Sunnahs of the Khulafaa Raashideen. You must have read this Hadith in the Mishkaat Shareef:
‘Irbaad bin Saariyah Radhillahu Anhu reports: “Rasulullah Sallalla- hu alihi wa Sallam after leading the salaah, turned his face towards us, and delivered a very dynamic lecture, (as a result of which) tears flowed from the eyes, and hearts were moved. (Thereafter) a person said: “0 Messenger of Allah, this was like a farewell lecture, please advise us.” He said: “I advise you to fear Allah, and obey and accept (your leaders), even if he be a Habshi slave, because the one among you who will live after me, shall witness many discords. It is incumbent on you (to hold fast) onto my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Guided Khulafaa Raashideen. Hold fast unto it, and keep it tight with the teeth. Beware and stay away from new (modern) ideas and acts. For every new act (that is thought to be a part of religion) is Bid’ah, and every Bid’ah (leads) astray”. (Musnad Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmizi; Ibn Majah, Mishkaat page 29)
Do you know that when one criticises another, what is meant by this? Listen, if the knowledge of a person is criticised (even if it is regarding one Mas’alah or an affair), it will mean that in this Mas’alah the opposite person’s view is incorrect, or the knowledge of the criticiser is superior. If the understanding of one is attacked, it will mean the criticiser’s understanding is superior. If the deeds of a person are attacked, it will mean that the deeds of the criticiser is of a higher standard. In short, for whatever reason the next person is criticised, it will mean that the knowledge, deeds, intelligence and understanding of the criticiser is superior.
At times the criticiser is truly better than the opposite, but the criticiser in self vain imagination and aggrandisement regards himself to be superior. In Islam this is called ‘Kibr’ or ‘Takabbur’. This is the same ‘Kibr’ which overtook Iblis, and through this wrong self aggrandisement, instead of being a ‘Muallim Malakut’, he was cursed till the day of Qiyaamah. Now put these Usul (principles) before you, and ponder over the criticism, and the Usul of Maududi Saheb’s criticism. He gives every Tom, Dick and Harry the right to criticise everybody from among the Salf Saaliheen except Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam. You tell me what would this be called? According to Maududi Saheb, does every member of his Jamaat have better knowledge and understanding than the Salaf Saaliheen? If not, then what else can his motive be besides self conceited imaginations and notions? When Maududi Saheb says that Younus Alaihis salaam committed a few errors in fulfilling the Risalat, at that time his claim would tantamount to this, that he understood the responsibilities of the Risalat more than Younus Alaihis salaam, and possibly (Nauzubillah) more than Allah, because the least, that is expected from Maududi Saheb is that he will not confer an important post In his Jamaat to someone that he knows will not diligently carry out the duties. But according to Maududi Saheb Allah Ta’aala conferred the Risalat on Younus Alaihis salaam and did not take this precaution. In like manner when he says that the passion of Jahiliyyah overcame Younus Alaihis salaam, then it is, as if he is claiming that his foresight on the passions of Jahiliyyah is greater than that of Younus Alaihis salaam, and that he has the strength to withstand the passions of Jahiliyyah. He says regarding himself:
‘It is Allah’s faith that I did not commit any deed or say any word under the influence of my passions, nor did I commit it. Every word that I uttered in my lectures, I measured each one of them before saying them, remembering that I would have to account for it before Allah and the creation. Therefore, I am assured in my position that I did not utter a word against Haq’. (Maududi Mazhab, page 29)
When he says that Dawood Alaihis salaam was influenced by the customs of the Israeli society and committed certain acts, he forgets that the one that is captivated by the ‘mental slavery’ of one’s society can never be a Nabi. With all this, it gives one the impression that if Hazrat Maulana Abdul Aa’la Maududi was in the place of Dawood Alaihis salaam, he would never had asked 0rya to divorce his wife.
When he says that in certain matters Hadhrat Mu’aawiyah Radhiallahu Anhu did not even take into consiaeration human morals, at that time he thinks of himself as a greater Aalim in human morality than Mu’aawiyah Radhiallahu Anhu. When he says that Mu’aawiyah Radhiallahu Anhu openly disobeyed a certain fundamental of the Shari’ah, at that time he presents himself as a greater Aalim of Shari’ah than Hadhrat Mu’aawiyah Radhiallahu Anhu.
When he says that from the time of Umar bin Abdulaziz Rahmatullahi alaih till the time of Sayyid Ahmed Shahid Rahmatullahim, there was a shortcoming in the Tajdeedi missions of all the Mujaddids, at that time he tries to make believe that he understands Tajdeed and revival of the Deen more than all those pious elders. And when he very proudly claims this:
‘Instead of understanding the Deen from the present or previous personalities, I have always tried to understand it from the Qur’aan and Sunnah. Therefore, always when trying to know what the Deen of Allah wants from me and every Mu’min, I never try to see what certain Buzrugs have said, but rather, I try to see what the Qur’aan says and what Rasul says’.* (Maududi Mazhab, page 98)
* [Who taught you the Quraan and Sunnah? People of the present or the past! The Angels of the Mala Aalaa? or like Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani, he came with it from the stomach of his mother? It is the height of ungratefullness. Those through the Barakah of whom a few correa or incorrect words were learnt, are being rejected and discarded. Fundamentally, these are the same viewpoints of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani and Ghulam Ahmed Parwez]
He is actually trying to show to the people that in the long History of the Ummah there was not born anyone besides himself who understood the Deen. Well, this is a different subject, on which Insha’Allah, when time permits, I will say something. Briefly, I would say this, that the mo- tive of criticism is always that one feels ‘Ana khayrum minhu’ (I am better than him). It one is really superior to another in knowledge, understanding, deeds and morals, then verily one has the right to criticise another who has a lower standard. If one on his own accord feels superior, and if this is his motive, then every Mu’min should beseech Allah for His protection.
Now in reality if Janaab Maududi Saheb is superior in knowledge, understanding, deeds, Taqwa etc than these whom he has criticised, then, without doubt he has the right to cirticise them, But if in comparison to these gentlemen, he really is lower, and has the urge to criticise, then what can his motive be besides high mindedness, arrogance, self-conceit and Takabbur?
According to the viewpoint of Janab Maududi Saheb, when no individual of the 1400 year old Ummah is above criticism, nor can anyone be relied upon, and according to the standards shown by Allah, it is incumbent to examine every person, then this question arises, that the Deen that has reached the Ummah of today through the Naql Riwaayah, knowledge and deeds of the Salaf Saaliheen, could it be relied upon? Do you know that the proofs and arguments of our Deen are taken from four sources:
(a) The Kitaab of Allah
(b) The sunnah of Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam
© The Ijmaa of the Ummah
(d) and the Qiyaas of the Mujtahideen.
The Fiqhi Masaa’il of the A’immah Mujtahideen have been abrogated in such a manner, that Mashaa’Allah, Maududi himself is a Mujtahid Mutlaq. He is not in need of benefitting from any present or past tutor to understand the Deen. When the whole Ummah is in need of a critical examination and are thought to be unreliable, then it is clear that Ijmaa will be of no value. The dependance of the Kitaab and Sunnah are on Riwaayat and Diraayat, especially when according to the research of Janab Maududi Saheb the Sahaabah Kiraam Radhiallahu Anhum attacked one another and (Nauzubillah) called one another liars. If in reality, Nauzubillah, the Sahaabah Kiraam Radhiallahu Anhum were as pictured by the criticism of Maududi Saheb, then it is evident that the Ummah that will come after this will be even worse The result will be that beginning from the Qur’aan and Hadith till the Ijmaa and Qiyaas, everything will be doubtful and will be regarded as unreliable, until Maududi Saheb will show us through the standards shown to him by Allah, that how reliable a certain thing is and how unreliable others are. In all fairness, please tell us, what else besides this did Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani and Mr. Ghulam Ahmed Parvez say? Where did Maududi Saheb attain this ‘Allah’s Standard’, in the light of which every individual from the Salaf Saaliheen have been examined and graded’ What! will Wahi again be revealed to him, or will he leap back fourteen hundred years and personally hear the Qur’aan and Sunnah from Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam? When he does not accept the connections of any personality of the past or present, nor is he prepared to shoulder the ‘mental slavery’ of anyone, then from which cave will he receive the ‘Standards of Allah’?
You may also know that Allah Ta’aala has taken upon Himself to safeguard this last Deen of ours till the Day of Qiyaamah. The Deen can only be safeguarded when the words of the Nusus of the Deen are preserved without any changes. Its meanings are also preserved. Then the manner in which Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam had practised and demonstrated it himself, and how the Sahaabah Kiraam Radhialiahu Anhum practised these in his presence, should also be preserved Then through these deeds the proficiency in Islamic thought are pleasure; the path of Ihsaan; and the understanding of the Deen that is created, should also remain preserved. Briefly, four things are mentioned here: words, meanings, deeds and Islamic thought. We who are engrossed in ‘mental slavery’ do not think, but it is our belief that Allah Ta’aala has without any break or interruption preserved these four things, and we are indebted to those through whom these were preserved. They are our guides and leaders. We have complete reliance on them. We are their ‘mental slaves’, and we are thankful for their kindness and benevolence. If hypothetically these great personalities are removed from in between, and is thought that in a certain period of words, meanings, deeds and Islamic thought could not have been preserved, or it could not be relied upon, then, because of this, the entire structure of the Deen is being put into a negative light. But, according to the viewpoint of Maududi Saheb, not one of the four things mentioned remains credible, because the disgrace of being ‘mentally enslaved’ to the personalities of the past or present periods is totally unacceptable in his lofty court, nor will he accept in any way. Even if we give him the benefit of the doubt, that the words of the Qur’aan and Sunnah are preserved, then too the stages of interpre- ting the words and giving them their proper meanings, and through practising them, for one to reach the stage of Islamic thought, will yet have to be covered. Since Maududi Saheb does not accept the ‘mental slavery’ of any human, therefore he will have to traverse this whole path on his own, and in the same manner he will also have to cover the path through his own intellect and understanding. The result that will ensue and the picture that one will form of the Deen needs no comments. It is a fact that a person that wants to remain in the Deen of Muhammed Sallallahu alaihi wa Salam, will have to become a ‘mental slave’ of those Salaf Saaliheen who had upheld the Deen. The person that cannot withstand this ‘disgrace’ or does not want to follow it, cannot attain true Islam (The Islam brought by Muhammed Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam), even if one reaches the highest of positions. After refuting the reliability of the sayings and conditions of the Salaf Saaliheen and not becoming engrossed in their ‘mental slavery’, if Janab Maududi Saheb has invented some scientific way, we will be looking forward to know about it, on condition that it is a bit different from the styles and modes of Mr. Parvez and Mirza Qadiani.
I accept that Janab Maududi Saheb is a good author and has a flowing pen, but I feel that he in his lofty thoughts, sometimes uses such words that according to the situation are utterly out of context. For example, take the words ‘above criticism’ and ‘mental slavery’. These, according to their coherence are meaningless. Ponder, that if ‘mental slavery’ is not a shortcoming in the Islamic religion, but is a thing to be proud of a thousand times, then should one not be proud of following the path of the Salaf Saaliheen and those who have shouldered the burden of Islam? What shall be the meaning of this saying of Rasulullah Sallallahy alaihi wa Sallam.:
‘That my Ummah will never unite on falsehood’.
Picture a child of the grades who went to Madrasah or school for the first time. The Ustaaz began teaching him the alphabets, and taught him that this is ‘Alif’ and that is “Ba’. In reply to this the pupil says: ‘Sir, I am a thinker of the fourteen century (or nineteen century AD.), why should I accept your ‘mental slavery’? It is apparent what type at education this ‘thinker’ will attain. We do not even hold this position in relation to the Sahaabah and Salaf Saaliheen, as the relation of the modern ‘thinker’ had with his Ustaaz. We learned the rudiments of Deen from these noble personalities. The result of the revolt against conforming to their ‘mental slavery’ is not different from that pupil who claimed to be a ‘thinker’. may Allah forgive me. I am of the opinion that those who severe their links from the Salaf Saaliheen, and throw off the yoke of their ‘mental slavery’, and are trying to map out a new path of Islam, in essence they do not acknowledge Islam, but repeatedly use the words of the Qur’aan and Sunnah, because there is no other way to spread their Kufr and disbelief among the Muslim public. I do not regard Janab Maududi Saheb among. them, but it is regretted that he has, by rejecting the ‘mental salvery’ of every personality among the Salaf Saaliheen, given preference to the ‘mental slavery’ of the orientalist western disbelievers, and he has adopted the ‘mentality of the free thinkers’ after whom the modernists of today are running.
Janab Maududi Saheb has satirized and ridiculed the following of the path of the Salaf Saaliheen as ‘mental slavery’ which the Qur’aan proclaims as ‘Sabilul Mu’mineen’ (a way for the believers) and has warned those who disregard it of a severe punishment in Jahannam. This is the same ‘mental slavery’ that the Qur’aan describes as “As Siraatal Mustaqeem’ (The straight path), and instructs one to supplicate for its guidance. Also, this is the same ‘mental slavery’ for which the Muslims rub their noses five times a day and make du’aa. What a bad and distateful interpretaiton this is, that the path on which countless caravans of pious people have trodden, the following of whom is today labelled as ‘mental slavery’.
If you have studied the emergence of all the false sects dunng the Islamic period, then this truth will dawn upon you that the foundation of all these sects are on “Ana wala ghayri” (Me and no one besides me) All these heve felt ashamed of the ‘mental slavery’ of the Salaf Saaliheen, and have floated their lofty thoughts in the jungles of their own intelligence and understanding. Thereafter, whichever way their heads rose their thoughts began to float in that way.
The first fitnah in Islam was introduced by Abdullah bin Saba, a Jew, whose basic thinking was founded on that no one is above criticism besides the noble personality of Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam. Then from the stomach of this Saba’iyyah the fitna of of the Khawaarij was born, who exclaimed aloud that Ali Radhiallahu Anhu and the other Sahaabah did not understand Islam “We understand more than them”. Then on the same basis the sects of Mu’tazilah, Murjiyyah, Qadriyyah, etc took root. Each one of them potrayed! the following of the Salaf as ‘mental slavery’. They went astray and led others astray. In our modern times the new sects that emerged, although their basis and viewpoints differ, you will find that they are more or less unanimous on the above point. It is fashionable today to satirize the Salaf Saaliheen; to extract worms from their deeds; injure their personalities; shoot arrows of criticism at them; and label their following as, revisionism, out moded, obsolete, orthodoxy, mental slavery, etc. etc It is sad that Janab Maududi Saheb has also based his ‘Islamic Movement’ on these lines. When we read the history of the Khawaarij, we were surprised at their boldness. They claimed to understand the Deen more than such a personality who had seen with his own eyes the Sun of Islam rise, and who had been an associate and confidant of Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam during his 23 year period of Nubuwwat, who had eye witnessed every incident of the Nazule Wahi; who had spent his whole life from childhood till old age in the service of Islam. We fail to understand what has happened to their senses? They vehemently criticise his religious understanding. History repeats itself. Today the criticisms of Janaab Maududi Saheb (his attack on Uthman Radhiallahu Anhu and other Sahaabah) has removed our astonishment and surprise regarding the Khaarijis. Maududi Saheb tries to make us understand that Uthman Radhiallahu anhu was not able to upkeep the ‘Islamic system’, nor did anyone after him have the guidance and power to do so. Now Janab Maududi Saheb’s ‘Islamic movement will spear the Islamic System.
‘In hiya illa Khaarijiyyatun Jadidatun’ (Verily it is a new Khaariji order), even the angels of Allah are modest in presence of Uthman Radhiallahu Anhu.
Rasulullah Salallahu alaihi wa Sallam says: ‘Should I not feel modest before that person, in the presence of whom the Malaa’ikah feel modest’ Muslim. (Mishkat page 56).
Maududi Saheb does not feel a jerk by this, but showers licentious criticism on him. Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam in recognising the great sacrifices of Uthman Radhiallahu Anhu says: ‘Whatever Uthman Radhiallahu Anhu does after this, there shall be no accusation upon him’ (Tirmizi, Mishkat)
But Maududi Saheb feels it an honour to heap accusations on him
Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam advises the Ummah: ‘Fear Allah regarding my Sahaabah (companions), fear Allah regarding my Sahaabah. Do not make them a source of criticism after me. That person who has loved them, has loved them because they love me, and those who hate them, have hated them because they hate me’. (Tirmizi)
But Maududi Saheb deems it important to criticise them by sifting them all through a sieve. It grants every Tom, Dick and Harry the right to criticise. By criticising them it instructs the Ummah to despise and hate them, so that people may keep away from becoming their ‘mental slaves’. This is the same Khaarijiyyah in a new colour, which surfaced during the time of Sahaabah It is stated in the Hadith that the ‘Later one’s among this Urnmah will curse its forebearers’.
I end this letter, by mentioning the command of the Faqihul Ummah, Abdullah bin Mas’ud RadhiAllahu Anhu. You may compare the ’standard of truth’ between that of this great Sahaabi and that of Maududi Saheb.
He says: ‘If you wish to follow anyone, then follow the path of those who have passed away, because one is not safe from the fitnah of a living person. I mean those who are among the Sahaabah of Muhammed Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam. They were the best among this Ummah; they possessed the clearest of hearts; they attained the deepest of knowledge; and had the least formalities. Allah Ta’aala had chosen them as companions of His Nabi and to up- keep His Deen. Therefore, recognise their virtues, and follow their footsteps. As far as possible hold fast unto their characters and qualities, because they are on the straight path’. (Razeen)

I dont understand Mr. Mughal what do you want to prove. I can show 10000 fatwas Against Saudi Wahabis, I know you would not accept those fatwas. Mr. Baaz of Suadia Arabia would have been authority for you but not for us.
I accept that rallies of Eid Mailadunnabbi is a bidd’at, if Saudi wahabi s are aware of that. they should ban on this Brelvi Sect. if they dont ban on brelvi sect to enter Harmain. its mean they are also supporting brelvis to prove their biddats legitimate.
thanks

Dear Hashmi Sahab,
Hujjat is Quran and Hadith, if you talk of Islam and Ibn Baz and other such Saudi Muttawwas can shove their Fatwas wherever it is appropriate. Please don’t be mistaken because my tribute to Aal-e-Saud and Saudi Muttawwas is as under: Corrupt, Vile & Filthy: Arabs, Aal-e-Saud, & Wahhaabis. http://chagataikhan.blogspot.com/2010/06/corrupt-vile-filthy-arabs-aal-e-saud.html

Saudi Fatwa on Barelvis [where is Unity of Ummah]
The ruling concerning the Braylwiyyah
http://www.fatwa-online.com/fataawa/creed/deviants/0010517_5.htm
Question: There is a particular group in Pakistan called the ((Braylwiyyah)) or ((Jamaa’ah Nuwaaree)) which is a reference to their current leader known as ((Nuwaaree)). I ask your excellencies the Sharee’ah ruling regarding them and their ‘aqeedah, and the prayer behind them as this is a contentious issue which many people are unaware of the reality. I will mention some of their defective ways and beliefs:
1) The belief that the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) is alive;
2) The belief that the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) is present and all-seeing, especially immediately after Salaat al-Jumu’ah;
3) The belief that the Messenger (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) is the foremost intercessor;
4) They believe in “saints” and the dead in their graves, and they offer salaah at the graves requesting them for their needs to be met;
5) Their commendation of domes and lighting up of graves;
6) Their saying ((Yaa Rasool, Yaa Muhammad (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam)));
7) Their hatred towards whoever loudly says ((Aameen)) and raises his hands in the salaah, considering such a person to be a Wahhaabee;
8) Their great astonishment at the use of the miswaak before the salaah;
9) Kissing the thumbs whilst doing wudhoo., the adhaan and after the salaah;
10) After the salaah, their imaam repeating the aayah:
{Allaah sends His prayers on the Prophet and also His angels too}, [Soorah al-Ahzaab, Aayah 56].
11) They gather after the Salaat al-Jumu’ah standing and reciting anaasheed and sending praises (to the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam));
12) After they complete the Noble Qur.aan in the Salaat at-Taraaweeh in the month of Ramadhaan, they prepare alot of food and distribute it in the dining area of the masjid, in addition to sweets;
13) They build masaajid and seek much importance in decorating them, writing ((Yaa Muhammad)) above the mihraab (standing place of the imaam);
14) They consider themselves the people of the Sunnah and correct ‘aqeedah and that (all) others are in error;
15) What is the Sharee’ah ruling regarding performing the salaah behind them (their imaam), considering I am a medical student in Karachi and live next door to the masjid where they are in (overall) control (i.e. their beliefs and practices prevail)?
Response: Whoever has these characteristics and attributes, then it is not permissible to offer your salaah behind them (their imaam), and whoever knows of their condition, then their salaah is not correct. This is because most of their characteristics and attributes are of kufr and bid`ah which negate the tawheed (oneness) with which Allaah had sent His messenger and revealed in His Book, and that which conflicts with the Qur.aan, such as His (Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala) saying:
{Verily, you (Muhammad) will die and verily, they (too) will die}, [Soorah az-Zumar, Aayah 30]
And His saying:
{And the mosques are for Allaah (alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allaah}, [Soorah al-Jinn, Aayah 18]
And their bid`ah which they practice should be detested with good manners, and if they accept (and leave these pratices) then all praise is for Allaah (alone); And if they do not accept (and continue in these practices) then you should leave them and offer your salaah in the masjid of the Ahlus-Sunnah. And in this, with respect to Ibraaheem (alayhis-salaam) there is a good example:
{And I shall turn away from you and from those whom you invoke besides Allaah. And I shall call on my Lord; and I hope that I shall not be unblest in my invocation to my Lord}, [Soorah Maryam, Aayah 48].
And with Allaah lies all success and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and his family and his companions.
Hashmi says: June 23, 2010 at 8:05 am I accept that rallies of Eid Mailadunnabbi is a bidd’at, if Saudi wahabi s are aware of that. they should ban on this Brelvi Sect. if they dont ban on brelvi sect to enter Harmain. its mean they are also supporting brelvis to prove their biddats legitimate.

Braylwiyyah
http://www.fatwa-online.com/deviantgroups/braylwiyyah/0010510.htm
Name of group – Braylwiyyah
Adherent to group – Braylwee, plural – Braylwiyyoon
The Braylwiyyah are a Soofee sect which was born in India at the time of the British rule there.
It’s followers concern themselves in exceeding in their love and honour for the Prophets and the “saints” in general, and the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) specifically.
It’s founder was a man by the name of Ahmad Ridhaa Khaan ibn Taqee ‘Alee Khaan who was born in 1272 A.H. (1851 C.E.) and called himself Abdul-Mustafaa (slave/servant of Mustafaa, i.e. Muhammad (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam)).
He was born in the city of Braylee in the province of Uttar Pradesh and was a student of al-Mirza Ghulaam Qaadir Begg who was the older (blood) brother of Mirza Ghulaam Ahmad al-Qaadiyaanee (founder of the Qaadiyaaniyyah sect).
He was of a slim build and known to be shrewd and clever, whilst also being ill-tempered and foul-mouthed. He used to suffer from chronic illnesses, and used to consistently complain of headaches and back pains.
He visited Makkah and studied under some of the scholars there in 1295 A.H. (1874 C.E.).
Amongst his “notable” books are: ((Anbaa. al-Mustafaa)) and ((Khaalis al-I’tiqaad)).
From the beliefs of this sect is that the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) has the ability/power to control the creation and all that occurs, and that the “saints” have the ability/power to influence the creation and all that occurs.
And they have exceeded in their belief with respect to the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) such that they have ascended him to a rank close to that of worshipping him. And they have exceeded in their belief with respect to the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) such that they believe he has knowledge of the unseen, and they deny that he was a human being, rather that he was the light (noor) of Allaah. And they also permit calling for assistance from the “saints” and the Prophets and other than them from the false beliefs.
Hashmi says: June 23, 2010 at 8:05 am I dont understand Mr. Mughal what do you want to prove. I can show 10000 fatwas Against Saudi Wahabis, I know you would not accept those fatwas. Mr. Baaz of Suadia Arabia would have been authority for you but not for us.

You have answered your own question by saying that
” I can show 10000 fatwas Against Saudi Wahabis, I know you would not accept those fatwas.”
When Muslims don’t have unity amongst themselves then “what do they preach in the name Islam” all over the world.

Ludhianvi’s interview and charges against the PPP now adopted as a press released by PML-N:
‘25 PPP MPs won polls with banned outfit’s support’
Tuesday July 06, 2010 (1633 PST)
ISLAMABAD: The PML-N alleged on Monday that 25 MNAs of the PPP, including six cabinet members and the deputy speaker of the National Assembly, won the 2008 general elections with the support of the defunct Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP).
Addressing a press conference here at the party’s central secretariat, PML-N leader Siddiqul Farooq said the support of the banned SSP leadership and voters was sought following the approval by President Asif Ali Zardari. “The MNAs held negotiations with the SSP leaders after getting approval from President Zardari,” he added.
Farooq said: “Besides NA Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi, the cabinet members elected with the support of the SSP in the 2008 general elections are: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, Labour and Manpower Minister Syed Khurshid Shah, Sports Minister Pir Aftab Shah Jilani, Defence Production Minister Abdul Qayyum Jatoi and Minister of State for Interior Tasnim Qureshi”. The PML-N leader said he would provide pictorial and documentary proofs of meetings between the PPP and the SSP leaders, if the government refuted his claims.
Farooq also distributed list of the MNAs who according to him were elected with the support of SSP. They include Chaudhry Iftikhar Nazir (Jahanian), Mahmood Hayat (Melsi), Jamshed Dasti (Muzaffargarh), Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar Jat (Borewala), Shayan Malik (Attock), Nawab Khan Wasan (Khairpur), Fazal Ali Shah (Khairpur), Mian Abdus Sattar (Rahimyar Khan), Shaikh Arif Aziz, Malik Farooq Azam and Amir Yar (Bahawalpur), Rahila Shahadat Baloch (Faisalabad), Hayatullah Tarin (Lodharan), Moazzam Jatoi (Muzaffargarh), Noman Shaikh (Sukkur), Aftab Shaban Mirani (Shikarpur), Muhammad Amir Khan Magsi (Shahdadkot) and Sardar Muhammad Umar (Chaghi).

Take the case of Mohammad Ahmed Ludhianvi, co-founder of the banned Sunni sectarian organisation Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan which first changed its name to Millat-i-Islamia and now operates under the banner of Ahle Sunnat Wal-Jamaat. On Monday, surrounded by armed guards, he emerged from a vehicle without a registration plate and gave an interview to a private television channel. In the recent past he has also met with at least one governor and two provincial chief ministers. Somehow — and this beggars belief — the leader of a much-feared militant outfit has been transformed into a seemingly respectable religious figure who can appear on television and confer with top officials. A change of name, ASWJ instead of SSP, was all it took.
