The Conspiracies against Turi Bangash Tribes of Parachinar. By Naseer Hussain

Parachinar is the capital of Pakistan’s tribal area Kurram Agency and has become famous by the name of Pakistan’s Gaza, has been become a victim of terrorism from last continuously 5 years and more than 50.0 million of its population has become besieged. Turi Bangash tribes of Kurram Agency were the target of Taliban’s, Lashkar-e-Jhangavi and Al-Qaida’s bedevils by the supports of some Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan. Carriages and coaches were attacked and passengers and students have been kidnapped and assassinated, goods and foodstuffs were looted and plundered and carriages have been burnt on fire. And Parachinar got more than the billions of harm due to the blockade and besiege of road.

Kurram Agency is very important Agency because its boundaries are shared with Afghanistan’s three provinces Paktia, Nangarhar and Khost. In 1979 when Russian Forces entered the Afghanistan, then America used the Pakistan for his own advantages at that time and America supported the Afghan peoples by proclaiming them for Jihad. Peoples of Afghanistan were supported with every type of weapons, foodstuffs and goods. America and Pakistan chose the tribal area Kurram Agency to defeat the Russia in Afghanistan because its boundaries were attached with Afghanistan’s three provinces and all the tribes of those three provinces were Pathan (Pakhtun). America preached the Jihad in those Pakhtun areas. Stickers and pamphlets were distributed which were containing the pictures and slogans of Jihad, while America granted the Afghan Commanders with much Dollars.

When Afghan Jang (Afghan Battle) was in progress at Afghanistan, then Government of Pakistan and Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan (I.S.I) made a program to make the Parachinar the head quarter of Afghan Contentions on the hint suggestion of America and created the Shia-Sunni disturbance to compel the Turi Bangash tribe to let the Kurram Agency. Turi Bangash tribes were targeted by the Afghan Contentions who were fully supported by the well weapons and other stuffs which had been given by the I.S.I and America. According to the program a camp was decided to be put on in Dera Ismail Khan for Turi Bangash tribes. But Turi Bangash tribes sacrificed their young ones for the defending of their areas. And killed the hundreds of Afghan Contentions, in which many Commanders have been also killed and letters were also recovered from their pockets, in which they had written that they will defeat the Turi Bangash tribes and will compel them to leave the Parachinar Kurram Agency just in three days. Even after the defeat of Afghan Contentions, Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan kept the chain of conspiracies against the Turi Bangash tribes repeatedly.

Retired Brigadier Muhammad Yousaf, who was a Brigadier in Pakistan I.S.I Intelligence Agency, had been authorised for the responsibility of Afghan transactions by the Government of Pakistan during the Afghan Jang (Battle). Afghan Contentions had been training under the care of him, while weapons and other facilities had been also provided.

Retired Brigadier Muhammad Yousaf has described important reveals in his biography book “Shikast-e-Roos” (Defeat of Russia). His biography is an extend story, but I am describing only few words about Kurram Agency here. He writes in his book that I was belonged to the Pakistan’s famous Frontier Force Rajment. I was commanding an Infantry Brigade of Pak Army while I was suddenly made the Incharge of Afghan Bureau of I.S.I. Retired Brigadier Muhammad Yousaf writes in his book that all goods had been conveying the Pak-Afghan Border in Lorries. About 55 D-Poz of different size were established on Pak-Afghan Border, and majority of D-Poz was present in Parachinar, Miran Shah and Chaman. Retired Brigadier Muhammad Yousaf also writes that the area of Parachinar is come out in front like the beak of parrot, which is spread towards the Jalal Abad in north and Khost in south. This area has much military importance for enemy. Forward Supply Dumps of Mujahidin in those areas were too close to the Kabul than Parachinar and Khost. 60% supply for Afghanistan had been processing through the area of Parachinar. The Military Cantonment of Ali Khel was the major hindrance of our path, which was 12 Kilometres away from the boundary. Khost which is in south of Parachinar was also much important for Russian like the Jalal Abad, 25 Afghan Division and 24 Sarhadi (Boundary) Brigade were present there. They were also responsible for the supply to the posts near the boundaries. 20% supply for Afghanistan had been processing through Miran Shah.

If we think about the words of Brigadier Muhammad Yousaf then we can understand, that why the Kurram Agency has much importance than the other Agencies of Pakistan for America, Al-Qaida, Taliban’s and Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan.

Some important leaders and hundreds of Contentions (Mujahidin) of Al-Qaida marched towards the Kurram Agency when in December 2001 America bombarded the compound of Al-Qaida in Torah-Bora. But tribes of Kurram Agency were patriotic and beloved of country therefore they refused to give them shelter and referred the Al-Qaida Contentions to Government and Security Forces. Taliban’s and Al-Qaida asserted much anger and scorn for tribes due to that movement.

Al-Qaida and Taliban’s started their activities against the tribes of Kurram Agency from 2007. Al-Qaida and Taliban’s established their strongholds in different areas of Lower and Central Kurram. And the activities of Al-Qaida and Taliban’s are still continued from 2007 here in Kurram Agency. Taliban’s have been demanding from 2007 that Turi Bangash tribes allow them for the road of Afghanistan otherwise they will keep their activities continued against the Turi Bangash tribes.

On other hand Turi Bangash tribes have faced bedevils and did not allow the Al-Qaida and Taliban’s to use their land for terrorism even they had faced them in battlefields many time from 2007 to until now.

Haqqani Network is also in motion besides the Al-Qaida and Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan in Kurram Agency.

Writer is also the resident of Parachinar and belongs to the journalism and an eye witness for the 5 years terrorism. There is no doubt that Taliban’s and Haqqani Network have been supported by some Agencies of Pakistan, it has been cleared because Taliban’s and Haqqani Network were occupant on Thall Parachinar road from continuous 5 years.

Writer has described and informed the peoples again and again about the real facts of terrorism in Kurram Agency and Higher Officials about the real heads of terrorism in articles and news. Because of which Writer has been threatened for killing and kidnapping on telephone and by means of letters by Tehrik-e-Taliban Islami Pakistan, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Jhangavi Alalami, While Writer has been also warned by the Intelligence Agencies. Because God is the owner of life and death therefore Writer will bring real facts from time to time for the common peoples.

When Taliban’s, Haqqani Network and Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan could not achieved their aims in Kurram Agency then suddenly in October 2011 Government Agencies became moveable for the opening of Thall Parachinar road and to reinstate of excluded peoples. And they claimed that Kurram Agency has been made clean from Talibanization. And Shia-Sunni tribes of Kurram Agency have agreed for the settlement of peace. Government announced the opening of all roads in Kurram Agency from 30th October 2011. And only after two days of mentioned announcement at Hayat Abad in Peshawar well armed extreme terrorists kidnapped the Dr. Sayed Muhammad Jamal who belonged to Turi Bangash tribes and shifted him to Khyber Agency. And terrorists demanded 100 million rupees for the payment of ransom. 0n 7th January 2011 after suffering the two month’s hardships and severities of terrorists Dr. Sayed Jamal has been killed with inhumanity and cruelty by the terrorists in Khyber Agency. Dr. Sayed Jamal has been buried on 8th January 2011.

Taliban’s started attacks and blasts suddenly in Central Kurram Agency after the settlement of peace and announcing of road openings from 30th October 2011 in Kurram Agency. And only in the month of December two officers of Security Forces and common tribal’s and many Security Artisans have been killed, while some sources say that some important Leaders of Al-Qaida and Lashkar-e-Jhangavi Alalami are also present in Central Kurram Agency.

I am trying to describe some important points here in article, which are; that during five consecutive years Turi Bangash tribes did not allow the Taliban’s or Haqqani Network for shelter. They did not allow the Taliban’s, Haqqani Network and Al-Qaida to use the road of Kurram Agency for arrival or departure to Afghanistan, while Government of Pakistan and Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan have started to seize the basic rights on Turi Bangash tribes as in punishment. And in 1st step Government has ordered to shift the C&W Division Office from Parachinar which is the capital of Kurram Agency and major area of Turi Bangash tribes to Sadda which was the head quarter of Taliban’s, Lashkar-e-Jhangavi Alalami, Al-Qaida and terrorists. C&W Division Office was established at Parachinar in 1973. And now suddenly the shifting of C&W Division Office to Sadda from Parachinar is significant.

It means that something is wrong. Who is supporting the Al-Qaida, Taliban’s or Haqqani Network?

While some sources say that besides of C&W Division some other offices and faculties are also going to be shifted in Sadda from Parachinar.

Turi Bangash tribes and political parties have asserted their untrustworthy towards the Government because of shifting of C&W Division to Sadda from Parachinar without any reason and called it a conspiracy against the Turi Bangash tribes.

Tribal elders told the Writer in a conversation that on a one side Government is claiming the settlement of peace while on another side Government is seizing the basic rights on them. Tribes told that seizing of basic rights from them in the claims of peace is a fraud. Tribes told that Kurram Agency has been destroyed because Government has besieged the Parachinar by means of Taliban’s, Lashkar-e-Jhangavi Alalami, Al-Qaida and terrorists for five consecutive years. And now seizing of basic rights is lifting the Parachinar more behind.

Tribes told that at BalashKhel in Lower Kurram Agency 9 thousand Jirab land of Turi Bangash tribes is occupied by Parachamkani and Masoozai tribes by the support of Taliban’s. Unauthorised houses are building on those land of Turi Bangash tribes by Parachamkani and Masoozai tribes by the support of Taliban’s. But Government is completely silent on the buildings of those unauthorised houses and presence and activities of Taliban’s.

Tribal elders have demanded the Government immediately to end the occupancy of Parachamkani and Masoozai tribes and Taliban’s. Otherwise Turi Bangash tribes will never grudge sacrificing for their rights. And Government will be responsible for everything.

Security officials and local tribesmen in Parachinar said a suicide bomber detonated his explosive-filled jacket when worshippers had come out of a mosque and were standing in a market. They said 26 people died on the spot while 48 others sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to the Agency Headquarters Hospital in Parachinar and other private health centres as handling of the large number of blast victims for the lone government-run hospital was not possible. “Emergency had already been declared at the public sector hospital but it was beyond its capacity to handle all the victims. Therefore, some of the injured were shifted to private hospitals and those needing specialised treatment were referred to Kohat and Peshawar hospitals,” a government official in Parachinar said. He feared that the death toll could rise as condition of some of the injured was critical.

Pleading anonymity, he said the majority of the blast victims were those standing in the market, which houses cellular phone shops, after performing their Friday prayer at the nearby mosque. Security officials said the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) of the Pakistan Army, along with the Kurram Militia, a wing of the paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC), rushed to the spot and surrounded the area and helped shift the injured to hospitals.

Some of the angry tribesmen on the occasion staged a protest to condemn the suicide attack despite the beefed up security in and around the Parachinar city and allegedly threw stones at security forces. Local tribesmen alleged that security forces opened fire on the peaceful protesters in Parachinar bazaar and killed three protesters.

Pakistan’s military has blockaded a strategically important district in the country’s north, sealing in a fiercely anti-Taliban tribe.

The Turi people have been keeping Taliban militants out of Kurram tribal district, near the Afghan border.

Many in Kurram suspect the government is pressurising the Turis to meet Taliban demands to cross their land.

Any deal between the Turis and the Taliban could have major implications for Nato’s operations in Afghanistan.

The Turis, who follow the Shia branch of Islam, have traditionally abhorred the Taliban, who adhere to a hardline Sunni form of the faith. Many Taliban consider Shias to be non-Muslims.

The blockade comes amid reports that the Turis have once again refused to allow the militants to enter Afghanistan via Kurram.

The Taliban have been trying to launch operations around Kabul through the district, whose western tip lies just 90km (56 miles) from the Afghan capital.

The blockade means that the Turis are hemmed in by the military on one side and by the Taliban on the other.

Col Tausif Akhtar, of the Pakistani security forces, announced the move on Monday evening at a news conference in Parachinar, the main town in Kurram.

Five border crossing points – Terimangal, Spina Shaga, Khairlachi, Burki and Shahidano Dand – have been shut, with security beefed up.

“We have done this due to internal security concerns, because there have been sectarian clashes in Kurram and we do not want miscreants from outside to exploit the situation,” Col Akhtar told the BBC News website.

‘Baffling’
But the BBC’s M Ilyas Khan in Islamabad, one of the few journalists to have travelled to Kurram in recent months, says the move is baffling.

The Turis have kept members of the Haqqani network – a branch of the Afghan Taliban based in Pakistan – away from Kurram.

In retaliation, the Taliban have blockaded the east of Kurram, effectively cutting off the area from the rest of Pakistan. The militants have been ambushing Turi commuters along a 10km stretch of road.

But the government decision to block this route, too, places the Turis under an economic stranglehold, says our correspondent.

Haqqani network members last week held talks with Turi leaders in Islamabad about striking a deal for access to Kurram.

In return, the Taliban is thought to be offering safe passage for Turis travelling overland from Kurram to Peshawar.

But the Turis reportedly rejected the Taliban approach – for at least the fourth time since 2008.

After Nine-Eleven when fierce game started at the name of terrorism, this fierce game not only compelled the thousands of people to exclude them from their ancestor areas, but it was also the harmful reason for the “Educational Murder” of tribal students. Bright and shined future of tribal students has been made darken by the terrorists. The innocent children, who might have a pen and book, were forced to hold on weapon and explosive material. Suicides were trained to kill their own Pakistanis. This bloody game and tribal students “Educational Murder” are still continued.
Terrorism in Pakistan and especially in tribal areas is the part of the Worldly conspiracy. But names of some Pakistani Agencies have been also included in this list of terrorism doubtfully with continuation. Misunderstood policies of rulers and government made the common people doubtful about them. Different weapons are using to explain the FATA tribes as terrorists. Different criminals, murderers, thieves, robbers and plunderers were assembled and named “THARIK-E-TALIBAN”. The people who were stranger and unacquainted by Islam and Islamic ordinances made Commanders. They spoiled the appearance of Islam. Anti-Islamic activities and terrorism of Talibans revealed the tribes as terrorists all over the World. And electronic media also explained the little accidents of FATA by advancement to take superiority on each other. Talibans were cover-aged mostly by them, which give progression to terrorism in Pakistan and FATA. Pakistani Agencies and rulers set the media free for their cover-age. Freedom for media was a personal purpose of Pakistani Agencies and rulers.
Pakistani Agencies and rulers got a lot of funds and aids from America and other countries for operations in FATA. America and other countries granted packages of thousands of $dollars for the FATA tribes. But FATA tribes were kept disappointed from these packages. How did the funds and packages vanish? OR

Writer also belongs to the tribal area Parachinar Kurram Agency and related to journalism.
Fierce game is still continued at the name of terrorism in Kurram Agency since five years. Thousands of peoples had been killed. More than billions of rupees have been damaged. The educational system is in critical conditions.
In2007when Talibans marched towards the Kurram Agency from Northern and Southern Wazirstan and started their activities at the name of “Tharik-e-Taliban”. In the meantime Shia-Sunni elders of Kurram Agency wrote a letter and faxed it to the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan and security officers. In that letter they expressed untrustworthy against the activities of Talibans and demanded to give them no permission for the entrance towards the Kurram Agency. But strange situation was created, when the photocopy of that letter reached the Talibans Commander next day. Talibans Commander sent five hundred rupees for each head of Shia-Sunni elders by the help of officials for their shrouds. He warned them, that they should purchase their coffins and be ready to death. Because killing is the only result for everyone, who disobeys the Talibanization.
At that time in2007the local journalists of Kurram Agency met the Political Agent and informed him about the activities of Talibans and different doubts of people. Political Agent told them, that the activities of Talibans are the policy of Federal Government.
Journalists asked him that, if we write a letter about the activities of Talibans and doubts of people and fax it to the superior officials. Political Agent revealed and told them, that the elders of Shia-Sunni tribes have also faxed a letter to the superior officers before this. But photocopy of that letter reached the Talibans Commander next day. Talibans Commander sent five hundred rupees for each of them and threatened them, that they will kill them. Your faxing letter will also reach the Talibans next day.
The meeting of Political Agent of Kurram Agency cleared the reality, that the running fierce game and terrorism are also supporting by some Pakistani Agencies and officials.
Activities of Talibans were developing day by day by the help of Pakistani Agencies. Talibans made their check posts, training centers and residences at Lower and Central Kurram Agency. Talibans also reached to Parachinar the capital of Kurram Agency and putted on their tents in “Central Principal Mosque” and schemed to attack and holds the Parachinar.
At this on15thNovember2007elders and journalists of Kurram Agency informed the Political Agent of Kurram Agency about critical situations and conditions. But Political Agent told the tribal elders and journalists, that circumstances are in control and nothing will be happened.
But next day after the “FRIDAY PRAYER”on16thNovember2007Talibans attacked the innocent people of Parachinar with Hand-Grenades and Rockets. In result many people of Turi-Bangash tribes were killed.
Passengers of Turi-Bangash tribes who were traveling from Peshawar to Parachinar killed with inhumanity at the powerful Network of Talibans called “Shashu” located in Lower Kurram Agency. And thus disturbance rose in whole Kurram Agency. Activities of Talibans are still continued from 16thNovember2007.
Durable and strong centers of Talibans are located in Lower and Central Kurram Agency. These training centers existed indigenous and external terrorists. Talibans are training for terrorism in these centers. Thall-Parachinar road is blocked since five years. Thousands of Upper Kurram Agency tribes are besieged. Parachinar is harvested from whole country of Pakistan. Telephonic media has been also prevented for many hours. Electricity is suffering load shedding. Developmental programs are stopped. Supply of goods is also stopped. Tribes of Parachinar are compelled to purchase a lot of eating and drinking commodities expensively from Afghanistan.
Even Parachinar is facing hardships, but some Pakistani media is not cover-aging the references of Parachinar. Media represents the news or accident so clearly, if it is happened in other areas of Pakistan.
Thousands of Parachinar tribes are besieged since five years, arrival and departure roads are blocked. Road blockade caused 100reds of patients and injured to death due to nonexistence of life saving drugs and treatment in time.
But it is so sorrowful, that some media of Pakistan especially electronic media is completely silent about Parachinar. They are not interested to give any cover-age about the circumstances of Parachinar and people’s difficulties. Most media of Pakistan resembles the hardships and terrorism of Parachinar with sectarian disturbance, which is completely wrong.
Media representatives of Peshawar and Islamabad have been invited to Parachinar for the coverage of situations. They came and talked to the people of Parachinar. They observed the situations of Parachinar. During this they told, that they had been often informed about the sectarian disturbance of Parachinar at Peshawar and Islamabad in press released by Government. But reality is completely different. There is no disturbance between the Shia and Sunni tribes at Parachinar. They have been also affected by Talibans. And terrorism is still running. Roads are blocked. And tribes are besieged.
Government arranged official convoy many times for arrival and departure of passengers and eating and drinking commodities from Peshawar to Parachinar since five years. But Talibans attacked, looted, and burnt the trucks and coaches fully loaded by goods and passengers many times in the presence of F.C.
Writer has a video, in which Talibans and well armed local individuals are looting goods from the trucks and coaches of Turi-Bangash tribes in the presence of F.C servants in official convoy at Lower Kurram Agency. They set the trucks and coaches on fire. Talibans are crying at the time when they are looting goods and burning the coaches and trucks. And some F.C servants are replying their slogans by raising their hands. The dead body of a young is on the ground. But official servants are not bearing the trouble to take up the dead body. Faces of Talibans can be identified in that video.
Talibans attacked the convoy many times at Lower Kurram Agency. But every time their target was to hit only the people of Turi-Bangash tribes. F.C servant or conveyance has not been harmed. It is guessed and Turi-Bangash tribes are also blaming continuously, that attacks on convoy are supported by some F.C servants. Therefore Talibans don’t attack the official servants or conveyance. Government and Security Forces were silent against the Talibans even they had proofs and videos. Therefore Turi-Bangash tribes asserted their untrustworthy towards the F.C.
When America pressured the Pakistan to operations the Talibans of Northern Wazirstan, especially Haqqani Network. The negotiations started for the settlement of peace and opening of roads. Negotiations were in progress at Islamabad and Peshawar.
Tribal elders of Kurram Agency, Grand Tribal Jarga (Multitude) and Haqqani Network also took part in these negotiations. During which many elders of Turi-Bangash tribes criticized against the presence of Talibans Commanders in these negotiations. Objecting members were eliminated from these negotiations after this.
On 3rdFebruary2011 Federal Interior (Home) Minister of Pakistan Rehman Malik stated with Grand Tribal Jarga and M.N.A’s of Kurram Agency, that parties have been agreed for peace agreement. Thall-Parachinar road will be opened on 5th February 2011.
On 8thFebruary 2011 members of Grand Tribal Jarga came to Parachinar by road and thus the Thall-Parachinar road has been opened for traffic. People started their arrival and departure on Thall-Parachinar road. Kurram Agency was showing great pomp and show. Tribes were unbelievable about the opening of Thall-Parachinar road. They did not believe that the besieged tribes have been set free.
During this Pakistani and International Media also acquainted, that Haqqani Network has been shifted from Northern Wazirstan to Kurram Agency. Safety of Haqqani Net-work for the arrival and departure to Afghanistan is the only purpose to open the Thall-Parachinar road. Because the borders of Kurram Agency are joined with Afghanistan’s three provinces Paktia, Nangrar and Khost. And Talibans have also issued news and reports to support the peace agreement in Kurram Agency, which have been recorded.
Some means say that, the time when Thall-Parachinar road was unblocking and peace agreement was passing, Talibans held some personal stakes. Permission of road, residences in some areas and some other demands were their basic conditions. Therefore one month duration has been given for that agreement.
But Turi-Bangash tribes told them again and again, that safety of Thall-Parachinar road and passengers is the responsibility of Government. And they will not allow Talibans and terrorists on the road of Kurram Agency and for making their camps/hideouts.
Accidents started immediately after the one month of peace agreement and opening of road. Two innocent children were kidnapped from the Lower Kurram Agency. Passengers of Turi-Bangash tribes were kidnapped along with drivers and coaches, who were traveling from Peshawar to Parachinar. Drivers belonged to Charsada and Pesha-war. They were warned; that they will never be ever carry the Turi-Bangash tribal passengers, who are against the Talibans and terrorism. Talibans charged them heavy fines.
On 13thMarch2011 well armed terrorists attacked the passenger’s coach of Turi-Bangash tribes at “Mamoo-Khwar” nearer to Hangu and killed the 10 passengers. And in reaction of police three attackers were killed. Identified three terrorists were the men of “Mangal Tribe” of Kurram Agency. One of them was a recently serviced F.C servant.
But Government didn’t take any action against the colleagues of these terrorists, even in the presence of proofs and identifications.
On Friday 25th March 2011 Talibans attacked the three passenger’s coaches and killed the three passengers at main road nearer to F.C check post in Baggan at Lower Kurram Agency. 45 passengers of Turi-Bangash tribes were kidnapped along with women and children by Talibans. Women and children were set free after the some hours of this accident.
Talibans were telling them, that they have been deceived in agreement. Their demands have not been fulfilled. Therefore they have kidnapped the passengers of Turi-Bangash tribes.
After this accident government and “Grand Tribal Jarga” convinced the Turi-Bangash tribes that kidnapped passengers will be set free immediately. Grand Tribal Jarga negotiated many times to Talibans for the freedom of kidnapped passengers. In which Talibans demanded to pay them a huge amount and recognize their stakes.
Negotiations were in progress. In the meantime on 21stApril2011 Talibans slaughtered and burned 8 kidnapped passengers. Two of them were the students. Burned dead bodies were sent to the Turi-Bangash tribes. And Talibans also issued the video of a kidnapped passenger. In which he is slaughtered by a knife. After that Talibans placed some woods and pour oil on the dead body for burning. The scene of burning of the dead body has been also shown in that video.
Negotiations are in progress between Talibans and Grand Tribal Jarga. But still the negotiations have not been succeeded. And still the kidnapped passengers are in the custody of Talibans.
Means are telling that Talibans will not let the kidnapped passengers of Turi-Bangash tribes until their stakes and conditions have been accepted.
Kidnapped people are still in the custody of Talibans, therefore different tales are spreading.
Although Talibans kidnapped and killed the passengers but Turi-Bangash tribes described the Haqqani Network and Talibans, that they will not let the Talibans on the road of Kurram Agency for the arrival and departure to Afghanistan. And the land of Kurram Agency will not be allowed to use against any other country. After this announcement of Turi-Bangash tribes Talibans and Haqqani Network started attacks of missiles and mortars on Upper Kurram Agency area’s “Sahlozan” from 17th February 2011, which are still continued. And in these attacks two have been martyred and fifteen have been injured.
While Talibans hit mortars, missiles to Turi-Bangash tribe’s village called “Balash-Khel” in Lower Kurram Agency to arrogate the area. In result four men of Turi-Bangash tribes were killed and seven were injured. In answer of Turi-Bangash tribes two important Commanders and seventeen Talibans were killed there.
During these clashes droll situation was created, when suddenly Security Forces reached the Village of “Khar-Kali” and “Balash-Khel” and bombarded the fortifications (morchas) of Turi-Bangash tribes with tanks and picked up the dead bodies of that Talibans who were on the ground nearer to the fortifications of Turi-Bangash tribes. Means are telling about these dead bodies, that they exists some members of Haqqani Network and Al-Qaida.
Turi-Bangash tribes protested by means of shutter down in whole city against the action of Security Forces towards them by bombarding and hitting missiles instead of Talibans.
And announced great protest against them in Parachinar.
Protesting processions are in progress. Addressing with protesting processions tribal elders deployed and said, that Turi-Bangash tribes are fighting with Talibans in Kurram Agency. But Security Forces are targeting the fortifications of Turi-Bangash tribes by bombarding instead of Talibans fortifications. This confirms that Talibans back has been supporting by Security Forces, and double game has been playing.
Tribal elders describing that, if the Government and Security forces don’t stop the double game, and react against the Talibans, and don’t accept the demands of Turi-Bangash tribes, then protest shall be continued. And Turi-Bangash tribes will also block the road for the eating and drinking commodities for Government and Security Forces.

Why the foundations of country are hollowing by the illegal policies of rulers and Pakistani Agencies?

Now it is the suitable time that Pakistani Agencies, rulers and policy maker should re-view their policies. And should make the friendly and brotherhood’s policy. Other wise country will become a victim of crisis and critical conditions.

FC has killed at least 8 Shia Muslims by straight firing on peaceful protesters.

One innocent boy was intentionally run over by an army tank, his body was cut into several pieces.

Locals said that security forces, who rushed to the scene soon after the blast, opened fire to control the angry crowd, resulting in the death of eight people and injuries to 28 others.

MNA Sajid Hussain said that at least four people were killed by FC’s firing.

The town is currently under very strict curfew. It is worse than Gaza and Kashmir.

The photograph shows body parts of Shia civilian truck drivers who were slaughtered by accursed Taliban in June 2008. Pakistan Army soldiers were escorting them for security, but ran away when Taliban attacked. That is a fact which is already public knowledge, and thus hopefully the ‘related authorities’ – whoever they are – are reasonably expected to know about it. However, if one wishes to re-report it to them, so be it. Qatl kr dein gey na, iss sey ziada kia kr sktay hein? Vo tau Karbala sey ab tk hm bhugat hi rahay hein.

‘Good Taliban’ leader Fazal Saeed Haqqani kills 21 civilians in Kurram suicide attack

A Taliban commander who left the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan after an internal feud last year claimed credit for a suicide attack today that killed 21 civilians at a market in Parachinar in the Kurram tribal agency. Fazal Saeed Haqqani defected from the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan last June after publicly chiding the group for intentionally killing civilians. This is what he said when he defected and joined the Haqqani Network, or what Pakistani officials like to call the “good Taliban” (those who do not attack the Pakistani state):

“I repeatedly told the leadership council of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan that they should stop suicide attacks against mosques, markets and other civilian targets,” Saeed told AFP by telephone.
“Islam does not allow killings of innocent civilians in suicide attacks,” he said, likening what TTP does in Pakistan to “what US troops are doing in Afghanistan” and vowing to continue the fight alone against the Americans.

“I have therefore decided to quit TTP,” Saeed said, claiming to have defected along with “hundreds of supporters.” A 10-member consultative council will meet within days to formulate the group’s programme, he told AFP.

Here is what he said today, while claiming credit for the suicide attack in a call to Reuters:

“We have targeted the Shia community of Parachinar because they were involved in activities against us,” he told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location.
“We also warn the political administration of Parachinar to stop siding with the Shia community in all our disputes.”

So, less than a year after he denounced the Taliban for intentionally killing civilians and defected to the Haqqani Network, Fazal Saeed decides he is justified in murdering civilians.

Last summer, when Fazal Saeed defected, the Pakistani military and government touted the development as a breakthrough in reducing the power of the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan. The press uncritically repeated this line, held his defection up as yet another sign of the decline of the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan, and inflated his position within the Taliban (the press called him the overall leader in Kurram when in fact he commanded several hundred fighters).

But at The Long War Journal and Threat Matrix, we warned you that such views were both wrong and dangerous. Here are two points from a post on June 27, 2011. We even predicted that Fazal Saeed may not consider the Shia to be civilians:

Note that Fazal didn’t condemn suicide bombings, but only attacks against civilians, and at markets and mosques. Presumably all other targets are fair game. And one wonders if Fazal considers Shia to be “civilians,” given that he’s responsible for the butchering of quite a few in Kurram.
Fazal’s defection from the TTP will likely be touted by some observers as a major blow to the terror group, but in all likelihood, little will change in the big picture. Fazal isn’t going up against the TTP, he just dropped out of the fight. He still wants to impose Sharia, or Islamic law, in both Afghanistan and Pakistan, and is continuing to battle US forces in Afghanistan. In all likelihood, Fazal merely joined the so-called “good Taliban,” the groups that are favored by the Pakistani state. The Haqqani Network has expanded its influence greatly in Kurram [see this report at AEI from Reza Jan and Jeffrey Dressler for more information], and Fazal may be positioning himself to ally with them (note that Haqqani Network fighters were killed in his camps during last week’s Predator strikes).
And see the conclusion to a July 5, 2011 post that addressed the so-called decline of the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan in the context of Fazal Saeed’s defection:

What you are witnessing [Kurram with Fazal Saeed’s defection] is a very cynical game by the Pakistani military and intelligence establishment to get wayward Taliban groups back into the fold.
In other words, Fazal Saeed’s “defection” from the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan means little in the big picture when it comes to the jihadi groups that operate in Pakistan. He still supports jihad in Afghanistan, seeks to impose sharia law in Pakistan, and shelters terrorists, including la Qaeda, in areas under his control. Just like the Haqqanis and Taliban commanders such as Hafiz Gul Bahadar and Mullah Nazir, all of whom are not members of the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan. The only difference between them and the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan is that the former do not advocate attacking the Pakistani state.

I think that Fazal Saeed is an ISI represantitive in kurram agency. In the past,When amarican pressure built on Pak.Govt about to dismiss TTP in Waziristan, than the pak. intelligence ISI made feud in taliban and declared that Fazal Saeed is defected from the movement. His activities still continues according to the willings of ISI. The recent bomb blast in Parachinar has done by ISI and claimed credit from Fazal Seead.

In Pakistan, hundreds have taken to the streets in protest against recent bombing which claimed the lives of at least 36 people, Press TV reports.

Protesters gathered in the capital Islamabad’s Faizabad Square from across the country, to condemn what they call the Pakistani government’s failure to secure the country’s tribal region, especially the Shia community of Parachinar.

Shia majority town of Parachinar is located in Kurram tribal region, which is considered a main base for the Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Protesters chanted anti-government slogans, demanding the authorities to come up with a solution for the worsening security situation.

On Friday, at least 36 people, mostly Shia Muslims, were killed in a powerful bomb blast in a northwestern marketplace, close to the Afghan border. Many others were also injured in the attack.

The Shia Muslim community in Kurram has been facing a humanitarian crisis since November 2007, when pro-Taliban groups cut off the area from the rest of the country. According to local sources, hundreds of Shias have been killed in the region since the militants launched their campaign.

TTP militants have also targeted several Shia religious gatherings in different parts of the country over the past few months.

While this blog is quick to highlight this topic, why does it not use its outreach to ask its liberal progressive supporters to write on this issue in the real media. Reconciliation is a political strategy; not a media strategy. The Ansar Abbasis, Kamran Khans and Javed Chaudhary are openly with Jihadis. But what about those who oppose them. Why don’t they write about the ongoing Shia killings. Why are they not standing with us and writing about us in the mainsteam media.

After Parachinar bombing, Kurram admin turns on ‘good Taliban’

PESHAWAR – Taking strong exception to last Friday’s suicide explosion at Parachinar, which killed over 40 individuals, the Kurram Agency political administration on Monday demolished the houses of three Taliban commanders. Banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Kurram Agency commander Fazal Saeed had claimed responsibility for Friday’s suicide attack which targeted Shia Turi tribesmen. The tribesmen declared Fazal Saeed their enemy and urged the government to take stern action against him.
Officials informed that heavy contingents of law enforcing agencies cordoned off the houses of Fazal Saeed and his relatives at Ochat village in Lower Kurram Agency. Upon confirmation of identity, authorities demolished the three houses. The two other houses were owned by Khalil Ur Rehman and Mohammad Karim, considered close relatives of Fazal Saeed.
Fazal has not spoken about the demolition of his and his relative’s houses. Fazal Saeed was known to be amongst a list of what officials claim are “good Taliban.”
Officials said good Taliban are peaceful inside Pakistan while they resist US-led allied presence across the border in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, security forces continued action against militants in Upper Kurram Agency on Monday. They used gunship helicopters to bomb suspected hideouts of alleged militants in Marghan. Officials claimed that eight militants were killed and three dins were destroyed.

پاکستان کے قبائلی علاقے کرم ایجنسی میں حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ چار دن قبل مبینہ طورپر پارہ چنار خودکش دھماکے کی ذمہ داری قبول کرنے والے طالبان کمانڈر فضل سعید حقانی کے تین مکانات کو تباہ کردیا گیا ہے۔
“فضل سعید حقانی نے گزشتہ سال جون میں کالعدم تنظیم تحریک طالبان پاکستان سے منحرف ہوکر ’ تحریک طالبان اسلامی پاکستان‘ کے نام سے ایک الگ گروپ بنانے کا اعلان کیا تھا۔ انہوں نے خودکش حملوں، بازاروں اور مساجد پر ہونے والے حملوں کو حرام اور دہشت گردی بھی قرار دیا تھا”
پشاور میں فرنٹیر کور کے ایک ترجمان نے بی بی سی کے استفسار پر تصدیق کی کہ پیر کی صبح سکیورٹی فورسز نے لوئر کرم ایجنسی کے علاقے اوچت کلی میں سرچ آپریشن کے دوران طالبان کمانڈر فضل سعید حقانی کے تین مکانات اور حجروں کو مسمار کردیا ہے۔ آپریشن کے دوران آس پاس کے مقامات میں کرفیو نافذ کرکے تمام علاقہ سیل کردیا گیا تھا۔

لیکن مقامی لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ آپریشن میں طالبان کمانڈر اور ان کے رشتہ داروں کے چار مکانات، دو حجرے اور ایک پیٹرول پمپ کو تباہ کیاگیا جبکہ ان میں فضل سعید کا اپنا ایک گھر اور حجرہ بھی شامل ہے۔
جمعہ کو کرم ایجنسی کے صدر مقام پارہ چنار میں ہونے والے ایک خودکش حملے میں چالیس کے قریب افراد ہلاک اور پچاس سے زآئد زخمی ہوئے تھے۔ مقامی صحافیوں اور اخباری اطلاعات کے مطابق اس دھماکے کی ذمہ داری طالبان کمانڈر فضل سعید حقانی نے قبول کرلی تھی۔
خیال رہے کہ اس حملے کے بعد کرم ایجنسی میں حالات ایک مرتبہ پھر کشیدہ ہوگئے ہیں جبکہ حال ہی میں کھولی جانے والی واحد مرکزی ٹل پارہ چنار شاہراہ بھی غیر اعلانیہ طورپر بند کردی گئی ہے۔اس سے قبل یہ شاہراہ تقریباً چار سال تک بند رہی تھی تاہم امن معاہدہ کے بعد یہ واحد راستہ فریقین کے رضامندی سے چند ماہ قبل ہی کھول دیا گیا تھا۔
یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ طالبان کمانڈر فضل سعید حقانی نے گزشتہ سال جون میں کالعدم تنظیم تحریک طالبان پاکستان سے منحرف ہوکر ’ تحریک طالبان اسلامی پاکستان ’ کے نام سے ایک الگ گروپ بنانے کا اعلان کیا تھا۔ انہوں نے صحافیوں سے ملاقات میں خودکش حملوں، بازاروں اور مساجد پر ہونے والے حملوں کو حرام قرار دیا تھا ۔ انہوں نے کہا تھا کہ اس طرح کی حملوں کی اسلام قطعی طورپر اجازت نہیں دیتا بلکہ ان کے مطابق یہ کھلی دہشت گردی ہے۔
فضل سعید حقانی کا تعلق بنیادی طورپر اورکزئی کے زمشت قبیلے سے بتایا جاتا ہے۔ انہوں نے اکوڑہ خٹک کے مشہور اسلامی مدرسہ دارالعلوم حقانیہ سے دینی تعلیم حاصل کی ہے ۔ وہ عالم دین اور مفتی بھی بتائے جاتے ہیں
