The Slippery Slope of Intolerance – by Banda-e-Khuda
According to reports, the Shia Hazara students in Quetta have been asked by their university administration to take a separate bus to travel. They ave been asked to travel as a separate ethnic group (making them more vulnerable to attacks by State-sponsored Jihadi-sectarian militants), or not come to university now for a month or so. The issue has come to fore after recent attack on IT university bus in Quetta. (Source)
Clearly the safest areas of Pakistan are becoming cesspools of hatred and violence in the name of religion. Racial-sectarian segregation is being introduced, apartheid is the inevitable result. The United States ended apartheid in the 60’s, Martin Luther King was the hero. South Africa ended apartheid in 1993 through efforts lead by Nelson Mandela. While other countries are progressing Pakistan is regressing.
Identifying Shia by checking their backs for Flagellation Marks (zanjeer) Kohistan Massacre
Human beings are being slaughtered if they bear a mark of the Shia, a lover of Prophet Mohammed (PUBH), just like all other Muslims. This Shia carries a mark to show to the Prophet on the day of judgement that he shed blood for the love of the Grandson of the Prophet (PUBH). It is this symbol of love the Holy Prophet and his Grandson that becomes the noose of death in Kohistan.
Why is this happening?
It is happening because people do not speak up. Media, judiciary, government and Army are all silent or helping the oppressors.
Ordinary people must speak up, otherwise they too will be on the side of the oppressors. This concept of silence = crime is not new.
Bishop Desmond Tutu famously said “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.”
Similar concepts exist in Islam, Judeo Christian and other traditions.
In other words your silence means you are part of the crime.
It appears that majority population cares least about what is happening with Shias. Not much different from what happened in Nazi Germany.
True Ch. Azmat checking the backs of Shia for blade marks, which some of them carry to show Syeda Fatema and Rasool E Khuda as proof of their love for Hussain A.S, the beloved son and Grandson. Who are these people?
