Shia Genocide update: 6 non-Hazara Shias killed in Quetta on 3 June 2012
ISI touts want to misrepresent Shia genocide as a Hazara specific ethnic issue.
June 3: Jihadi-sectarian militants (belonging to Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat ASWJ and Taliban) killed six Shia Muslims and two policemen on Sunday afternoon when they opened fire at a shop in Pakistan’s southwestern city of Quetta.
Shia Muslims killed today were Yousafzai-Qandhari Shias, a Persian speaking clan, ethnically from Kandahar, Afghanistan. They are not Hazaras and do not have features similar to Hazaras, more look like Pashtuns or Persians.
This, once again, proves that Shia genocide in Quetta is not Hazara specific. Of course, LeJ/ASWJ is not an ethnic organization; they seek to attack Shias of all ethnicities across Pakistan.
The incident is the latest in the current wave of genocide of Shia Muslims taking place in Pakistan since anti-Taliban Pakistan Peoples Party came into power in early 2008. The incident took place just hours before the start of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s two-day official visit to Quetta, the provincial capital of southwestern province of Balochistan. While there is relative calm in Punjab, it would appear that the PPP government and its supporters are being punished by mentors of the Taliban and ASWJ for its opposition to right-wing agenda.
The incident spread panic in the city and among law enforcement agencies as the city was on high alert due to Gilani’s tour.
According to the police officials, four ASWJ-Taliban militants armed with automatic guns riding on two motorcycles by hiding their faces with masks reached a shop at the Sirki road (Quetta) and opened fire at people present in the shop.
In the result of the firing five people including the owner of the shop and his son were shot dead on the spot. The attackers succeeded in escaping from the site quickly after the attack. On the way back, two policemen riding on a motorbike tried to halt them but the escaping militants also sprayed bullets at the policemen. Both policemen were killed.
The ASWJ-Taliban terrorists entered a welding shop when workers were having their lunch and killed five people. The dead included members of the Shiite Hazara community and one passer-by.
Four people died on the spot while the other two succumbed to their injuries during treatment at Quetta’s civil hospital.
According to informed sources, Pakistan army and its sub-organizations, Frontier Constabulary (FC) and ISI in particular, are involved in massacre of Shias Muslims because of their lenient attitude towards Deobandi Jihadi-sectarian militants (ASWJ-Taliban).
The dead included Najeebullah, Muhammad Nabi, Tariq, Muhammad Hassan, Abdullah, Constable Hayatullah.
Shia Muslims killed today were non-Hazaras. This confirms our stance that Shia genocide in Quetta (as well as in other parts of Pakistan) is not ethnicity specific. Will Hamid Mir, Ejaz Haider, Imran Khan and others please note?

مزید اطلاعات کے مطابق چاروں شیعہ مومنین حاجی نبی،محمد طارق،محمد حسن، حیات اللہ جو سرکی روڈ پر سمینٹ کی دوکان میں بیٹھے تھے کہ اچانک کالعدم سپاہ صحابہ(اہلسنت و الجماعت) کے مُسلح دہشتگردوں نے فائرنگ شروع کردی جس کے نتیجے میں دو اہلسنت بھائیوں سمیت 4مومنین حاجی نبی اور اُن کا بیٹاطارق سمیت محمد حسن،حیات اللہ بھی موقعے ہر ہی شہید ہوگئے۔ چاروں مومنین کی بوڈی کو قانونی دستاویزات کے لیے مقامی اسپتال منتقل کردیا گیا۔ جہاں سے ایک جلوس کی شکل میں چاروں شہید مومنین کے جسد خاکی کو کندھاری امام بارگاہ منتقل کیا جارہا ہے۔اطلاعات کے مطابق فائرنگ کی زد میں آکر دو اہلسنت بھائی بھی شہید ہوگئے۔
سانحہ سرکی روڈ کے حوالے سے ایک عینی شاہد کا کہنا تھا کہ حاجی نبی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور اُن کا بیٹا طارق وضو میں مصروف تھے۔ کہ اتنے میں ناکاب پوش لشکر جھنگوی کے دہشتگردوں نے اللہ اکبر کے نعرے لگاکر فائرنگ شروع کردی۔ دہشتگرد فائرنگ کرتے ہوئے مسلسل دھمکی دے رہے تھے کہ یہ ملک چھوڑ دوں۔ البتہ کوئٹہ میں بسنے والے غیور شیعہ مومنین نے اس دھمکی کو مسترد کردیا ہے
واضع رہے کہ کوئٹہ میں ایک ظویل عرصے سے شیعہ مسلمانوں کی نسل کشی جاری ہے۔ چُن چُن کر صر شیعہ مسلمانوں کو دہشتگرد نشانہ بنارہے ہے۔ گزشتہ 24 گھنٹوں میں کوئٹہ میں شہید ہونے والوں کی تعددا 6ہوگئی ہے۔ پاکستانی حکومت ان دہشتگردوں کے ہاتھوں یر غمال نظر آتی ہے اور ہماری سکیورٹی ادارہ بے بس تماشائی کا کردار ادا کررہے ہے۔ پورے ملک میں شیعہ مسلمانوں کے اندر پائے جانے والی احساس محرومی میں مسلسل اضافہ ہورہا ہے جو کسی بڑے خطرے کی علامت بن سکتا ہے مگر حکومت اور سکیورٹی اداروں کو کوئی ہوش نہیں۔

Yes true, ISI touts misrepresent Shia genocide as an ethnic issue, but so do the PPP touts, albeit under a different banner.

Pakistan People’s Party is losing Shia Muslims support in many areas of the country because of failed policies of the PPP-led government.
PPP has formed government in Shia majority Gilgit-Baltistan province. PPP wins the constituencies of Shia majority areas of Punjab and other parts of the country as well.
Unfortunately, PPP has done nothing for the betterment of Shia Muslims. PPP-led government has failed to stop genocide of Shia Muslims. They have failed to stop anti-Shia pogrom that goes on in all over the country in full swing.
PPP government’s supporters and officials claim that it is judiciary that has to take action against the terrorists. As a matter of fact, first step is to be taken by the government. It is the administrative machinery that works under the government that has to adopt measures for arrest of the terrorists with proofs.
Some incidents occurred in Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab and Sindh, provinces may be cited to prove that government failed to maintain its writ or intentionally ignored terrorists. Federal interior minister Rehman Malik had promised to meet the demands presented to him in charter of demand in Gilgit-Baltistan. He failed to do what he had promised.
Terrorists perpetrated genocide of Shia Muslims in Kohistan and Chilas tragedies. Government was informed about the identities of the ferocious terrorists but they were not arrested. Government was informed about the terrorists training camps but no action was taken against them. Government was informed about fanatics and their patrons belonging to banned terrorist outfit who incited anti-Shia feelings but they were not punished for violation of Pakistan’s constitutional law.
In Punjab’s southern parts, some incidents of terrorism took place. Many Shia Muslims were massacred.
In Khairpur of Sindh province, Shia Muslims were persecuted. Sanctity of Shia Islam was violated time and again in all over Sindh province. Mosques and Imam Bargahs were attacked.
In both cases of Punjab and Sindh province, no stern action against terrorists was taken. Inaction encouraged the enemies of Shia Muslims and they feel Shias as soft targets.
Shia leaders and notables voiced their protest but peaceful protest and opposition to injustices were not allowed. Shia leaders were booked for their protest both in Punjab and Sindh.
In Gilgit Baltistan, operation was launched in Shia areas and Shia Muslims were arrested instead of those terrorists who perpetrated heinous crimes against humanity in Kohistan and Chilas Tragedy.
Shia Muslim areas remain backward during the tenure of PPP-led government. No alternate route for Gilgit Baltistan from Rawalpindi was constructed despite repeated demands. Nor the PIA flights or aerial travelling was provided.
Anti-government feelings are growing among Shia Muslims. PPP-led ruling coalition has disappointed them. In the past, they were choosing between two mainstream parties: PPP and the PMLN. Now, their mood has changed about the PPP. They have genuine complaints and genuine demands. They are denied to exercise their inalienable rights and they want to attain all genuine rights for them. PPP-led government has failed to provide these due rights, let alone other perks.
Every Pakistani’s heart cry when we heard about Shia genocide in any part of Pakistan. No body can issue license to kill a human.
PPP has the prime minister, president, representing the majority of Pakistan, so justifying the right to rule.
The problem is that this blog belongs to strong die hard supporters of PPP. They should ask their leadership what they are waiting for. At the time of swat battle, they proudly claimed that the awami hukumat allowed army to takeout the terrorist in that affected area. Whats holding them since last 4.6 years to take out terrorism from Balochistan?? FAILED RULERS, FAILED VOTERS. When will the pakistani people realise that their elected representatives are here to earn, take their share out of Pakistan and will enjoy their lives in air conditioned cars and homes and offices. Awam bhaarr mai jaye.
As a voter, you should ask the leadership why common people are angry with you? Kiya sub pagal hain or aap sahee hain? Agar haan, to aap unko vote dete rahain. And enjoy load shedding, corruption, genocide etc.
