Prime Minister Sahab, Please do not support those who term you a “Mujrim Wazir-e-Azam”
Pakistan’s largest media conglomerate, the Jang Group, which has publications like Daily Jang and Daily The News as well as GEO TV under its umbrella, has been running a façade of a campaign by the name of “Aman kee Asha” as a Joint Venture with the Times of India for the last two and half years. The campaign coming from Jang Group shows high standards of hypocrisy and misleading public from the media group which has nothing to do with promotion of peace! The anchor publication named “Jang” which has a literal meaning of “Daily War”, how can they be promoters of peace?
Under the Aman kee Asha, a two day conference by the name of “Dividends” is being organized in Lahore on May 7 and 8, 2012, where the honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan, Yousaf Raza Gilani is slated to inaugurate the event! Now the question is, why the War Group wants the “Mujrim Wazir-e-Azam” who, as per them, has been floundering the judgments of the “azad aur muazziz adliya” of Pakistan been invited to inaugurate the event? That is a question for the War Group and its proponents to answer. The Jang Group in all its programs uses the term “Mujrim Wazir-e-Azam” for the last 9 days or so.
As far as we the supporters of the PPP and followers of democratic dispensation are concerned, hereby request the honorable and most importantly the elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, having a command of a large majority of the parliament, to shun this façade of an event which is nothing but a forum to promote the business interests of the hawkish, right wing and anti-PPP media group. No matter how much you pamper them, how much you support their “genuine” efforts, the PPP haters will remain PPP haters. After you inaugurate and leave the event, it will become a platform for the likes of Shahbaz Sharif and Imran Khan, who will use the opportunity to lambast the Prime Minister, the PPP and the government and cite “Krupshion” and “Bad Gavernunce” as the reasons for all the ills of Pakistan. The Indians will have a field day in making fun of our country when they see such opposite responses in the country.
Mr. Prime Minister, this is the same group whose senior editor, Ansar Abbasi justifies the violent acts of extremists. Please see that this is merely a token and cosmetic gesture that will use your presence to gain importance while simultaneously giving your right-wing, Pro-Taliban opponents to bash you politically.
Prime Minister Sahab, you are very dear to us and we cant see you being humiliated by people like Kamran Khan, Ansar Abbasi, Hamid Mir, Mohamed Mallick, Shaheen Sehbai day-in and day-out, and then we see you giving them a badge for creating peace between India and Pakistan.
The PPP has to come out of its old policy of appeasing the foe. The foe will always be a foe. Concentrate on your own, who have no place else to go. Those who cannot respect you and the office of a democratically elected Prime Minister who still enjoys majority support in an elected Parliament; how can you support them?

Does the Jang group even know what dividends are? Dividends are given out on investment. We on both sides of the border have sowed discontent and terrorists. We are getting the dividends in the form of militancy and bad image.
PM Sahab, ignore these fascists of Jang Group
Wazir-e-azam sahab, zara speakers kee list to dekhayn Pakistanion mayn say: Shahbaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Mian Mansha, Razzak Dawood, Dr. Ishrat Hussain etc are people who are either PPP haters or those who do not like the PPP. Your presence at the event or not will not make an iota of a difference to them to lambast the PPP!!!
Jang is a problem in itself. What will it do to bring peace. They took Pakistan and India to a brink of war in 2008 when they deliberately brought ajmal kasab and his family to the limelight
I think that a moot as huge as this one should only be opened by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, or the President. It will help the business community of both the countries a lot and I am sure that both the PM and the organizers will put their differences aside to attain a common goal – betterment in India-Pak relations. If the event was held in India, I am sure Manmohan Singh would have opened it without thinking twice!
Jang kee jeet!!!
