Most bitter wounds in the history – by Amjad Rashid

Karbala is surely the hardest trial in human history. Seventy two noble souls refused to bow their heads before 1,20,000 beasts, and they kept humanity alive.

SACRIFICE of the wealth, property, lives and homelands is the tradition of our forefathers. We have a vast background of sacrifices behind ourselves. Our history reminds us always the blood of martyrs and makes us passionate about our duty to our religion, our homeland and humanity.

The greatest leader of Asia, the father of the Pakistani nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhamamd Ali Jinnah said:

“We are being given the worst and most bitter wounds by the history ever…………

We are in most worst distress of the history……………

Our courage is high………..

We shall fight it……………..

and recover from these wounds……………..”

Whenever I hear this, I start weeping unwillingly as I remember my own  forefathers coming from Ferozpur to Lahore on the night between 14th and 15th AUGUST 1947.

I remember their sacrifices, and it spells a certain type of spirituality on me when I hear that more than half of our family was killed by human looking beasts.

I often used to hear from MUNIR NIAZI:

“hum ne rasam-e-hijrat nibhai hai apnay aabaa ki”

(We have performed the tradition of migration of our forefathers who performed migration from Makkah to Madinah)

These migrants started building themselves again and also contributed high in developing our nation the biggest example is DR. ABDUL QADIR.

These migrants were very very patriot to Pakistan as they sacrificed for it. But the 1st martial law was a Shock for them as it was not the Pakistan that they dreamed.

THE MIGRANTS again gathered courage and fought against DICTATORS AYUB KHAN & YAHYA KHAN. These patriots followed the hero ZULFIQAR ALI BHUTTO and again they gave every type of sacrifice. They beard the crisis of BANGLA DESH. The joined ZULFIQAR ALI BHUTTO in every thick and thin and made him the leader of PAKISTAN as well as ASIA & 3RD WORLD.

Then the death sentence Of their hero BHUTTO was 3rd shock for them. They gathered again courage and fought against the worst dictator of the history of PAKISTAN GEN. ZIA UL HAQ. They fought very tough fight against military dictatorship and supported BENAZIR BHUTTO.

Their sacrifices again bore fruit and B.B was the PRIME MINISTER OF PAKISTAN.

Patriots were thinking that now it is the end of evil but it was only a mere dream. Only in 2 years the GOVERNMENT was demolished and there was DARK ONLY.

The patriots again got together and joined BENAZIR BHUTTO THE DAUGHTER OF THE EAST. Only in 3 years they brought B.B back in the seat.

But now MEER JAFAR & MEER SADIQS were in contact and they done their duty. THE MAN OF CRISIS ASIF ALI ZARDARI was in prison for almost 8 years. The patriots were also in deep trouble.

THE PATRIOTS again showed courage and fought against COLD DICTATORSHIP OF GEN. PERVEZ MUSHARRAF. Again DEMOCRACY rose in PAKISTAN.

The patriots believe:

Aik Zardari sab pe bhari

23rd March reminds the patriots of the following great leaders:

  • and thousands of democracy loving patriots who gave their lives for this cause.

ASIF ALI ZARDARI is on the presidential seat as a mark of the 23rd March.

The patriots are determined to keep alive the two nation theory and democracy. They are determined to keep alive the tradition of sacrifice.
