Baloch activists condemn misrepresenting report by HRCP

Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VFBMP) has condemned the misrepresenting report of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan about the Baloch Missing Persons and victims of Pakistan army’s Kill & Dump policy in Balochistan.

Relatives of Baloch Missing Persons have been protesting for release of their loved ones since 692 days while its 60th day of protest in Karachi. Peoples from many walks of lives visited the protest camp of relatives of Baloch Missing Persons to express solidarity with them.

VFMP leaders said that Pakistan has long been committing genocide of Baloch nation and perpetrating atrocities against them but recently the Iran has also started atrocities in “Eastern Occupied Balochistan”.

Chairman of VFMP Abdul Qadeer Baloch talking to the media-men expressed outrage about the report of HRCP regarding Baloch Missing Persons and recovery of their mutilated corpses. He said it is sad that HRCP is talking like intelligence agencies of Pakistan by resorting to false neutrality between the oppressor and the oppressed. He said that the organization has presented incorrect figures of Baloch Missing Persons & victims of Kill and Dump policy of the occupying forces.

He said 35 people have been abducted by Pakistani forces within a week which include 10 Marri Baloch who were abducted by forces during a late night raid in Saryab area of Quetta. similiary 5 were abducted from Noshki & 15 were abducted during a military offensive in Dera Bugti.

He said that the accurate figure of Baloch Missing Persons is 14385 & more than 400 bullet riddled, tortured, mutilated corpses have been found so far.

He said the accurate figures can not be ascertained sitting in air-conditioned rooms, one has to visit homes of every victim to collect the original data. He condemned the report of HRCP and said that HRCP should not misinform the world by releasing such baseless reports.
