Mian Sahab, Charity Begins At Home

Mian Nawaz Sharif, Chief of PML-N and twice elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, has said in a press conference in district Nawabshah that “the government should ban all such political parties who have militant wings and send references against them”. In election mode already, Mian Nawaz Sharif went on to say that “present government is involved in spoiling the situation and that politics should not be done at the cost of peace. He demanded that the government should send references against all such parties who are involved in causing upheaval and have militant wings. PML-N chief continued saying that the government is not interested in solving problems of the masses and it is wasting the resources that are meant to serve the people”. Though highly appreciable, we as PPP supporters who are sick and tired of being considered as part of the problem by Mian Nawaz Sharif and his many times “Mian” brother, Shahabaz Sharif, we demand the following:

  1. Immediately ban Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Jamaat-ud-Daawa in the province of Punjab. It would set the right precedent and will guide the federal government in taking steps in the right direction.
  2. Condemn in no uncertain terms the killings of Hazaras in Balochistan and demand the Balochistan government to provide 100% protection to the besieged community
  3. Having been a twice elected prime minister and hopefully having a cache of information and facts about his former allies like the MQM, Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan, Nawab Bugti’s JWP, Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen etc and follow the route of Zulfiqar Mirza and bare it all. Afterall, we have seen that the sacrifice Zulfiqar Mirza made, has at least brought a little bit of peace in Karachi. Maybe, Mian Sahab can do the nation a favor and tell all what his allies used to do and hold his government on ransom.

Do these Mian Sahab, and we will appreciate you even more.  Afterall, Charity should begin at home.
