1. There is no recorded evidence of Maulana Tariq Jamil’s condemnation of Taliban, their terrorist activities including suicide attacks against innocent citizens. On the other hand, he is on the record of refusing to issue a Fatwa against suicide attacks. This fact was highlighted by a critical article by senior journalist Haroon-ur-Rashid exposing the hypocritical nature of Tariq Jamil through a column in Daily Jang on 21 October 2008.
2. On 25 and 26 July 2007, it was reported in Nawaiwaqt and Jang that jewelry of Tariq Jamill’s wife and sister in law were stolen from an elitist beauty Parlour in Lahore. This new item create doubts in many Muslims who believe in simplicity and who thought that Tariq Jamil was being hypocritical in his words and actions.

I want make one correction on this issue …….that jewellery of Tariq Jameel’s wife and daughter were not stolen from beauty Parlour but actually it’s a MASSAGE Parlour with complete body beauty facilities. Its obvious that for body Massage it is necessary to put of all Jewelry! On investigation by concerned police officer, its conveyed to him by the Owner of the Massage Parlour that not only family of Tariq Jameel but he himself is our permanent customer for many years…and they have clearly posted in Massage rooms that every body should protect his/her belonging!

Maulana tariq Jameel is scholar, and here we are not that level who can criticize him. His level is too high and before criticizing see ourselves wgat we are. 2ndly i think he is not mufti who can give a fatwah. The mufti are different line of scholars who must have degree for it. When anyone says something just think many times that cause you a sin.

I severely criticise Haroon-ul-Rashid statement about Hazrat Maulana Tariq Jamil Sahib’s family. Our religion Islam always stresses on respect and honour for each other. No doubt, Maulana Tariq Jameel sb is true muslim and a great scholar of the Muslim world. He has led millions of Muslims to right path by his Islamic speeches.
