Adliya Azad Hay for PML-N

Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad of LHC is overseeing the provision of madar pidar azad insaf to Sharifs

We now concur that our Adliya is Azad. It is free 100%. It is free for all the Muslim Leagues. Be in the N or the Q. While, Moonis Ilahi’s acquittal has found front page space, another case involving a PML-N senator can be found in the inside pages of the newspapers. Like last week, when a Lahore High Court bench stayed the reinstatement of references against the Sharif Family, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed has also gotten relief from the Lahore High Court, when a case filed by Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) has been stayed. According to newspaper reports:

“Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood Khan of the Lahore High Court (LHC) stayed the proceedings of a loan recovery suit filed by Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) in a banking court against PML-N Senator Pervaiz Rasheed and six others.” The report further stated “The banking court, on Saturday, postponed the hearing till November 24 after receiving a stay order issued by the LHC.  ZTBL had filed a suit against Senator Pervaiz Rasheed, Pir Shaukat Hussain Shah, Abida Khanum, Shabnum Arshad, Tahmina Tariq, Shehla Rohail and Humaira Talib. According to the bank authorities these persons had obtained a loan of Rs 7.494 million from the bank in 1987 but never returned it. Now the payable amount was Rs 20.4116 million, they added.” (Daily Times, October 22, 2011)

Good going free judiciary. Now please quickly give a stay order or rescind the appointment of Admiral Fasih Bokhari as Chairman, National Accountability Bureau. The decision will come soon,  because the petition has been filed by none other than the most honorable, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan through his learned counsel, Akram Sheikh Advocate. This is for sure going to be interesting as this time it is not a “jiyala” who has been appointed as Chairman, NAB. Justice Deedar Hussain Shah had the misfortune of being earlier elected MPA on a PPP ticket. Let’s hope they don’t discover that Admiral Fasih Bokhari was a founding member of the PPP in 1968.
