Condolences to Taliban apologist, Imran Khan, on the death of Osama Bin Laden – by Maula Bux Thadani
First of all, let me congratulate all Muslims, all Pakistanis, all Americans, all peace loving people on this planet (who want to live a life free of terror) on the death of the most vile and most dangerous terrorist the world has ever seen, Osama Bin Laden, a product of the evil ideologies of Ibn Taymiyya, Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab, Syed Qutb and Abul Ala Maududi etc.
Muslims must celebrate the death of the devil who tried to hijack, misrepresent and tarnish Islam, the religion of peace. Pakistanis must celebrate as the leader of traitors and fifth columnists such as Imran Khan, Munawar Hassan, Mufti Naeem, General Hamid Gul, Ansar Abbasi, Hamid Mir, Irfan Siddiqi, Orya Maqbool Jan and other apologists of Al Qaeda and Taliban has been killed. In that regard, it was nauseating to see Talat Hussain emulate Azhar Lodhi on DAWN news today.
While details are still emerging on this incident, there are many perspectives that need to be addressed. Pakistan (in fact Pakistan’s security establishment) has had to pay for giving refuge to criminals and terrorists, not only in its tribal areas but also in its heartland.
What was Osama bin Laden doing in a fortified compound in Pakistan???
We at LUBP had always maintained the complicity of the security establishment in supporting Islamofascist jihadis and the terrible blowback of this policy on the average Pakistani.
The “Ghairat Brigade”, now lead by Imran Khan, Gen. Kayani and Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhary placed a warped sense of “honour” above the well being of average Pakistanis. The Ghairat Brigade was also strategically supported by more refined, liberal proxies of the security establishment, known as Fake Civil Society (FCS) of Pakistan.
However, saner individuals had accepted that supporting the Islamist militants for strategic depth in Kashmir and Afghanistan will prove costly to Pakistan.
In the last few years, 35,000 Pakistanis have been killed by these fanatics that have the support of the security establishment. Some civilians have also been killed when the Taliban and its foreign mercenary allies used innocent Pashtun women and children as human shields to protect themselves from drone attacks.
In the light of this incident, can the Ghairat Brigade still protest against the drones? Can it still talk about “sovereignty” and “International norms” while supporting and housing the likes of Osama Bin Laden right next to the main training academy of Pakistan Army in Abbottabad!
This latest incident proves that the security establishment’s desire to maintain strategic depth has placed all Pakistanis under a constant threat by international terrorists like the (late?) OBL. It is now time to accept the original Peshawar declaration and the voices of sanity like Farhat Taj and the progressive Pushtun narratives.
That, in fact, it is the drones are saving the lives of Pakistanis, while those who are entrusted and heavily recompensed at the cost of economic development, to provide security, are doing the opposite.
While we doubt that the end of Osama bin Laden will give pause to the ghairat brigade, we hope that the (fake) civil society apologists for this ghairat brigade like Mosharraf Zaidi, Tahira Abdullah and Iqbal Haider reconsider their support for the security establishment and its judiciary and politician proxies like Imran Khan!
After 9/11, the conspiracy theory doing the rounds amongst Pakistan’s Fake Civil Society elites was that the attack was undertaken by Israel to defame Muslims and that Osama Bin Laden was a CIA agent in the protective custody of the United States. It is now time for these anti-Semitic conspiracy theory-mongers to admit that they were wrong just as they have been on every issue!
While the UK is celebrating the Royal Wedding, the US and the Muslim world (not the Taliban apologists) should celebrate the Royal Funeral of Osama Bin Laden.

ابو زبیدہ القاعدہ کی مرکزی قیادت میں اہمیت کے اعتبار سے اسامہ بن لادن اور ایمن الظواہری کے بعد تیسرے نمبر پر تھا اور تنظیم کے عالمی آپریشنز میں باہمی روابط کا انچارج تھا۔
اس کی گرفتاری مارچ دو ہزار دو میں پاکستان کے صنعتی شہر فیصل آباد کے علاقے فیصل ٹاؤن سے ہوئی۔ ایف بی آئی اور پاکستانی خفیہ اداروں کے مشترکہ آپریشن میں ابوزبیدہ کو زخمی حالت میں پکڑا گیا اور امریکہ کے حوالے کر دیا گیا۔

اسی سال پاکستان اور امریکہ کی مشترکہ کوششوں کا ثمر اس وقت ملا جب ستمبر دو ہزار دو میں کراچی سے پاکستانی سکیورٹی دستوں نے امریکی انٹیلیجنس کی مدد سے رمزی بن الشبہ نامی القاعدہ رکن کو ایک مقابلے کے بعد گرفتار کیا۔
رمزی بن الشبہ نہ صرف انیس سو اٹھانوے میں امریکی جنگی جہاز یو ایس ایس کول کی تباہی کے واقعے میں ملوث تھا بلکہ القاعدہ کے جرمنی کے شہر ہیمبرگ میں قائم سیل کا انچارج بھی تھا۔اس نے گیارہ ستمبر کے واقعے کے مرکزی ہائی جیکر محمد عطا کو مالی اور نقل و حمل کے وسائل مہیا کیے تھے۔
خالد شیخ محمد
مارچ سنہ 2003 میں القاعدہ کے چار مرکزی کرداروں میں سے ایک خالد شیخ محمد کی گرفتاری اس وقت تک کی سب سے ’ہائی پروفائل‘ کامیابی تھی۔ اس گرفتاری کی اہمیت کا اندازہ اس بات سے لگایا جا سکتا ہے کہ اس کا اعلان اس وقت کے امریکی صدر جارج بش نے ذاتی طور پر یہ کہہ کر کیا کہ ہم نے گیارہ ستمبر کا ماسٹر مائنڈ پکڑ لیا ہے۔
خالد شیخ محمد کو پاکستان کے دارالحکومت اسلام آباد سے متصل شہر راولپنڈی سے پکڑا گیا۔ ان کی گرفتاری پر امریکہ نے پچیس ملین ڈالر کا انعام رکھا تھا۔
گرفتاری کے بعد خالد شیخ محمد کو گوانتانامو کے حراستی مرکز میں منتقل کر دیا گیا اور اب ان پر مقدمہ چل رہا ہے۔
احمد خلفان غیلانی
پاکستان کے صوبہ پنجاب کا ہی ایک اور شہر گجرات القاعدہ کے اہم رکن احمد خلفان غیلانی کی آخری پناہ گاہ ثابت ہوا اور انہیں پاکستانی سکیورٹی اداروں نے جولائی دو ہزار چار میں پکڑ کر امریکہ کے حوالے کر دیا۔
احمد غیلانی کے بارے میں کہا جاتا ہے کہ وہ انیس سو اٹھانوے میں کینیا میں امریکی سفارتخانوں کی تباہی کی منصوبہ بندی کا مرکزی کردار تھے۔
ابو فراج اللبی
دو مئی سنہ دو ہزار پانچ میں پاکستان میں سکیورٹی اداروں کو ایک بڑی کامیابی اس وقت ملی جب اس وقت القاعدہ کے تیسرے اہم ترین رہنما اور پاکستان میں تنظیم کے سربراہ لیبیائی نژاد ابو فراج اللبی کو ملک کے شمال مغربی علاقے سے پکڑ لیا گیا۔
ابو فراج پاکستان میں کام کرنے والے شدت پسندوں اور اسامہ بن لادن کے درمیان رابطے کا کام کرتے تھے۔ پاکستانی صدر جنرل پرویز مشرف نے خود پر دسمبر دو ہزار تین میں کیے جانے والے دو حملوں میں انہیں براہ راست ذمہ دار قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا تھا کہ انہوں نے ہی نہ صرف ان حملوں کے لیے سرمایہ فراہم کیا بلکہ حملوں کی نگرانی بھی کی۔
ابو فراج کی گرفتاری پر حکومتِ پاکستان کی طرف سے دو کروڑ روپے کا انعام مقرر تھا جبکہ امریکہ نے ان کے سر کی قیمت پچاس لاکھ ڈالر مقرر کی ہوئی تھی۔
ابو للیث اللبی
سنہ 2008 میں القاعدہ رہنماؤں کے حوالے سے یہ نیا موڑ آیا کہ امریکی حکام نے ان کی تلاش اور ہلاکتوں کے سلسلے میں ڈرون طیاروں کا استعمال شروع کر دیا۔
پاکستانی سرزمین پر ان ڈرون حملوں کا نشانہ بننے والے القاعدہ کے پہلے اہم رنما ابو للیث اللبی تھے۔ القاعدہ کے سرکردہ کمانڈر ابو للیث اللبی جنوری 2008 کے اواخر میں پاکستان کے قبائلی علاقے شمالی وزیرستان میں ڈرون طیارے سے فائر کیے گئے میزائل کا نشانہ بنے۔
مصطفٰی ابو یزید
مئی دو ہزار دس میں القاعدہ کو ایک دھچکا اس وقت لگا جب اسامہ بن لادن اور ایمن الظواہری کے بعد القاعدہ کے سینئر ترین رہنما مصطفٰی ابو یزید پاکستانی قبائلی علاقے میں ایک ڈرون حملے میں مارے گئے۔
امریکی حکام کے مطابق مصطفیٰ ابو یزید، جو شیخ سعید المصری کے نام سے بھی جانے جاتے ہیں افغانستان میں القاعدہ کے آپریشنز کے انچارج تھے۔
وہ القاعدہ کے رہنما ابوعبیدہ المصری کی وفات کے بعد القاعدہ کے تیسرے اہم ترین رہنما کے طور پر سامنے آئے تھے۔ کہا جاتا ہے کہ امریکہ میں نائن الیون حملوں کے مالیاتی امور کی نگرانی بھی انہوں نے ہی کی تھی۔
اسامہ بن لادن
یکم مئی دو ہزار دس اس وقت القاعدہ کے خلاف پاکستان میں کارروائی کا سب سے اہم دن ثابت ہوا جب امریکی فوج کے ایک خصوصی دستے نے پاکستان کے صوبہ خیبر پختونخوا کے شہر ایبٹ آباد میں ایک گھر پر کارروائی کر کے القاعدہ کے بانی اور سربراہ اسامہ بن لادن کو ہلاک کر دیا۔
اس آپریشن میں اسامہ کے بیٹے سمیت چار دیگر افراد بھی مارے گئے۔
اسامہ بن لادن کی اس مقام پر موجودگی کی اطلاعات اگست 2010 میں امریکی حکام کو ملی تھیں اور امریکی صدر نے ان اطلاعات کی حتمی تصدیق کے بعد اپریل 2010 کے اواخر میں اس آپریشن کی منظوری دی۔

It is the moment of joy for every peace lover of the society but it is being spoiled by the coward leaders. Those leaders whose efforts have always been visible and evident that this pakistani nation should not unite against the terrorism and Taliban and Imran is one of those elements. Any failure of current govt does not qualify IMran as a replacement , because he has been successfuly so far misused/used by pakistan military intelligence and does not have a clear vision as far as dealing with extremest elements of pakistan is concerned.
