Mufti Naeem says that target killing of Deobandi ASWJ-TTP clerics and activists part of international conspiracy
Administrator Jamia Binoria Aalmia Mufti Muhammad Naeem Deobandi while strongly condemning the assassination of Jamia Taleemul Quran Rawalpindi Deputy Administrator Maulana Mufti Amanullah Deobandi said that the government had miserably failed in protecting lives of the people and eminent scholars.
He said that the targeted scholars belonging to Deobandi school of thoughts was in particular carried out under a secret plan while a selective faction in federal and provincial governments was provoking sectarian riots, which needed to be noticed and stopped.
“If the rulers did not have the capacity to ensure safety and protection of our scholars, government should immediately issue arms licenses to the scholars,” said Mufti Naeem, adding that conspiracies were being hatched against the scholars belonging to Deobandi school of thought across the country and 40 eminent scholars were assassinated in targeted attack during present government era. He demanded the government to arrest the killers of Mufti Amanullah Deobandi , Maulana Masood Baig Deobandi , Professor Shakeel Auj (Sufi Sunni who was killed after a fatwa against him Mufti Rafi Usmani Deobandi ) and other scholars before it would be too late.
Meanwhile, Ahl-e-Sunnat Wa Jamaat central Information Secretary Allama Aurangzeb Farooqui Deobandi and Dr Khadim Hussain Dhallo Deobandi demanded of the government to immediately constitute a Judicial Commission on Prevention of insult of the companions of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the ASWJ would present to the Judicial Commission. They said the trained terrorists with the backing of a neighbouring country were carrying out their plans for throwing the country into the hell fire of sectarian riots while Punjab government had failed to protect lives of eminent Sunnite scholars. They said if the killers of Mufti Amanullah were not arrested, the ASWJ Deobandi would be compelled to announce its future strategy.
