I am burning up with jealousy becos of all this praise for Ali Ibne Abi Talib by not only Rafidi (Shia) but by other Religious groups as well as Athiests. Jidhar Dekho, Ali Ali. Even Sikh Guru Nanek Singh was admirer of this Ali, whose Father Abu Talib was a Kafir. FYI, Abu Talib raised the Holy Prophet from the age of 9 when he was an orphan, trained him for business, got him the best job, got him married to the most eligible woman of Mecca who was also the Prophet’s boss and even read the Nikah. Abu Talib supported him while majority of the Sahabas waited in the Shade and unti his death, Holy Prophet remained safe from Danger. Still many in the Ummah Hate Ali and therefore consider his Daddy and the Prophets primary supportor and Protector a Kafir!

From our Founding Fathers of the Taliban to the “Moderate” Al Qaeda aka FSA to their more frisky siblings like the ISIS, the Salafists and Deobandis maintain a carefully nurtured and disguised grudge against Ali Ibne Abi Talib which is manifested in their hatred against the Father of Ali as well as his children. In this regard, the TTP-ASWJ-LeJ share a lot in common with the Good Selective Liberals of the Ummah whose grudging and backhanded praise of Ali Ibne Abi Talib is quickly balanced with the more gushing praise of those who abused, harassed, oppressed and murdered Ali and his family – the same family also happened to be the family of the Holy Prophet but we don’t want to get into history – The Ummah Has an allergy to History!

It is reassuring that even Muslim “Progressive – Liberal” types maintain the same envy of Ali Ibne Abi Talib which is manifested in their Apostacy of the Holy Prophet’s uncle, Abu Talib as well as their apparent distaste for the poetry and elegy traditions that are genres devoted to Ali Ibne Abi Talib and his family. That is why when educationist/scholar/philanthropist/poet Sibte Jaffer was murdered by ASWJ-LeJ, Pakistan’s Good Liberals remained muted even as ASWJ’s twitter account gloated their pleasure at this murder. Sibte Jaffer used to write Sufi elegies for Ali Ibne Abi Talib. Similarly, the same Muslim liberals who protest and rage on Gaza, Kashmir and other causes go mute when the Shia, Sunni and Sufi devotees of Ali Ibne Abi Talib are massacred in Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Bahrain, Malaysia and Egypt.
