’بلبلِ صحرا‘ ریشماں انتقال کر گئیں
پاکستان کی معروف لوک گلوکارہ ریشماں چھیاسٹھ برس کی عمر میں لاہور میں انتقال کر گئیں۔
پاکستان کے سرکاری اور مقامی میڈیا کے مطابق وہ طویل عرصے سے گلے کے کینسر میں مبتلا تھیں اور گزشتہ ایک ماہ سے کومے میں تھیں۔
بلبلِ صحرا‘ کے نام سے مشہور ریشماں سنہ 1947 میں بھارت کی ریاست راجھستان کے شہر بیکانیر میں پیدا ہوئیں اور برصضیر کی تقسیم کے وقت ان کا خاندان پاکستان چلا گیا تھا۔
حکومتِ پاکستان نے ریشماں کو’ستارۂ امتیاز‘ سے بھی نوازا تھا۔
ریشماں کے مشہور ترین گانوں میں ’لمبی جدائی، ’ہائے او ربا نہیں لگدا دل میرا، ’سن چرخے دی مٹھی مٹھی کُوک‘ اور ’اکھیوں کو رہنے دو اکھیوں کے پاس‘ شامل ہیں۔
انھوں نے بارہ برس کی عمر میں لال شہباز قلندرکےعرس کے موقع پر ریڈیو پاکستان سے اپنے فن کا مظاہرہ کیا۔
ریشماں اپنے فن کی بدولت پاکستان اور بھارت میں یکساں مشہور تھیں۔
وہ پاکستان کے مشہور لوک گلوکاروں میں سے ایک تھیں۔
انھوں نے پاکستان ٹیلی ویژن پر بہت سے مشہور گیت گائے۔
