‘Interesting weekend listening to ‘whingers’ and ‘whiners’ who rail against ‘load-shedding’ and ‘water shortage’- what ‘wusses’?
I’m informed that Mirza Ghulam Ahmed was a cleric who advocated against ‘armed jihad’, is all. As such he was naturally vilified by everybody who wanted an arms race. The Brit Government gave the followers of his teachings sanctuary. Many were the ‘Mirpur-eeay’ once mocked by – well – ‘Pakis’ and ‘Whites’. Now everybody there is ‘cool’ with them. And everybody here? They just wish. What,pray, is the greatest connection? The ability to walk the walk, and THEN talk the talk. Not ‘fight the good fight'(?!). (Talk about an oxymoron?). Enough said.’

Just note the bold part and everything is clear. Fighting in the name of religion is prohibited. Self-defence is always allowed be it religious or noon-religious reasons.
Mirza Sahab was a far-sighted person. He could see misuse of Jihad, so he rightly cancelled it. Thanks to him.
