Iran’s President Ahmadinejad Censures #ShiaGenocide in Pakistan
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has censured the killings of Shia Muslims in Pakistan.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a statement published on the Iranian president’s official website on Sunday.
Ahmadinejad said those behind the killings “have no goals except to create differences among Islamic sects.”
The Iranian president also expressed his condolences for the killings, and called on the Pakistani authorities to find those responsible for the attacks.
Earlier in the day, a total of 234 members of Majlis (the Iranian Parliament) released a statement, censuring the targeted killing of Pakistani Shias. “The repeated brutal slaying of innocent Pakistani Shias is undoubtedly a plot hatched by the enemies of Islam and their regional accomplices…,” the statement read.
Takfiri Deobandi militants of banned terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba (operating as Lashkar-e-Jhangvi LeJ aka Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat ASWJ) have been waging a violent campaign against Shia Muslims and moderate Sunni Muslims in Pakistan for several years.
Shias living in the Kurram Tribal Agency, which is located in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, have been facing a humanitarian crisis since November 2007, when extremist groups cut off the area from the rest of the country.
Local sources say more than 21,000 Shia Muslims have been killed in Pakistan since the start of the campaign. Human rights groups and independent analysts have alleged that some elements in Pakistan army harbour Takfiri Deobandi Jihadist-sectarian terrorists.
Shia religious gatherings have been targeted in various areas of Pakistan over the past few years.

TEHRAN – Two hundred and thirty four Iranian MPs issued a statement on Sunday condemning the recent bloody massacres of Shias in Pakistan.
Violence against Shia Muslims has escalated in various parts of Pakistan over the past few months. Since the beginning of 2012, hundreds of Shias have been killed in the country.
In the latest terrorist bombing targeting Shias, a suicide bomber attacked Shia Muslims as they were leaving a mosque in the Pakistani city of Karachi on March 3, killing at least 45 people.
Shias make up about 20 percent of Pakistan’s population of over 190 million.
The statement said that the savage killing of the oppressed Shias in Pakistan was undoubtedly a plot designed by the enemies of Islam led by the United States, Britain, and their friends in the region.
“The silence of international organizations and the countries that are the self-proclaimed advocates of human rights about this blatant violation of human rights illustrates the bitter reality that today, the issue of human rights has become a political tool for major powers, especially the United States,” the statement said.
The lawmakers also expressed sympathy with the families of the victims of the recent wave of violence against Shias and urged the Pakistani government and the intelligence agencies of the country to make every effort to deal with the anti-human plot that was meant to undermine the country’s security.
On Saturday, a large number of Iranian clerics and seminary teachers and students staged a demonstration in Tehran to protest against the recent terrorist attacks against Shias in Pakistan.
The demonstrators called on the relevant international organizations to take the measures necessary to end violence against Shia Muslims in Pakistan.

Previously, Iran had been subtle about condemnation of Shia Genocide incidents in Pakistan due to not harming Shia community who is already tagged as Iranian Agents. But 300 in 2 months and 10 days in war like casuality figure.
“particularly the US, Britain and their regional accomplices…,”
Iran has its own axe to grind.
