Pakistan must learn from its Ahmadi Muslims – by Zakir Ahmad

Founder of Pakistan Mohammed Ali Jinnah ( A Shia Muslim) with Sir Zafarullah Khan Foreign Minister and Diplomat (Ahmadiyah Muslim)
Pakistan Must Learn from its Ahmadi Muslims. It was most heartening to see the support of the Ahmadiyah Muslim community and human rights activists during the recent protests and campaigns against the ongoing Shia Genocide in Pakistan. Aside from Ahmadi activists, the Ahmadi Jamaat also issued a statement condemning the acts of violence against the Shias in Pakistan.
Such gestures, coming from a community that is also at the receiving end from the same monsters, needs to be applauded and reciprocated on principle. Just as the majority Sunnis need to understand that they face a threat from a common enemy, Shias also need to realize that those who are conducting their genocide today have not spared Ahmadis either. The time to Unite and protest is now
Backdrop:
Since the inception of Pakistan, the Ahmadi muslim communities have been at the receiving end of persecution and violence by the Jamaat-e-Islami and other Jihadi groups.
Ahmadis and Shias were instrumental in the very creation of Pakistan and provided it with the most capable minds. Instead of gratitude, they have been systematically targeted. In the case of the Ahmadi Muslim community, the State officially went against them and committed Takfir with the passage of the horrendous 2nd Amendment by the elected government of ZAB that apostasized them under pressure from the Jamaat-e-Islami thugs. The military dictator Zia ul Haq went a set further with his Draconian Ordinance. Both are sorry excuse for legislation and go against fundamental human rights. It would be expecting too much from Pakistan’s seriously compromised Judiciary to counter this.
Under General Zia, the State’s policy of using Non-State Jihadi proxies was also formalized. While such proxies have defamed Pakistan in the Global community, they have also wrought havoc on Pakistan’s Ahmadis, Sunnis, Shias, Christains, Hindus and Sikh populations.
Conclusion:
Instead of uniting oppressed communities, Pakistan’s pseudo liberal intelligentsia has done the opposite. Specifically, in the case of Shias and Ahmadis, the two have been pitted against each other on the basis of exaggerated and at time, spurious accounts. The Ahmadis have risen above the situation. This needs to be acknowledged by Pakistan’s Shia communities. Along with the Ahmadis, Christains and Hindus must also be invited and encouraged to attend the dharnas. Pakistan shares the same enemies and it is the ASWJ-LeJ-TTP monsters bred and created by the State.
Pakistanis must unite in their protest and look upto the example of the Ahmadi muslim community in this regard
Good. Stay united against the common enemy!
mullah were against Pakistan….they are against Pakistan…and…they will be against Pakistan till they will destroy it…
Not only in tolerance but in all fields of life one can learn lessons from Ahmadiyya Community. Its supreme head Mirza Masroor Ahmad, recently spoke about world peace both at the platform of Capitol Hill as well European parliament. Community has tens of millions of followers but never ever any of its member caught for any ill will either against humanity or any other entity. But who cares in Pakistan. The extremist Mullah has poisoned the minds of masses against the community to such an extent that no one wants to hear any thing about Ahmadiyya.
