Deobandi, Ahle Hadith, Barelvi Ulama must declare Shias as Muslims and condemn Shia Genocide – by Javed Ghamidi
The following is a summary of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi’s talk on target killing of Shia Hazara Muslims in Quetta and other parts of Pakistan (January 2013).
Ghamidi’s views on Quetta Blasts – Killing of Innocent Lives
No sensitive person can remain indifferent to the carnage in Quetta. The State seems to be unwilling to perform its duties. This is not a sudden development, an outcome of our negligence to real teachings of Islam. Shia and Sunn sects have always co-existed despite their differences. However, the current situation demands that the factors and drivers, whether ethnic or sectarian, behind the target killing of Shia Muslims must be considered and addressed. Such target killings have been taking place for the last many years. Political leaders, intellectuals and clerics must pay urgent attention and take all measures to safeguards lives of innocent human beings. Every one in Pakistan must realize that there is no room for faith or sect based hatred in our society. In particular, there must be no room for Takfeer (apostatizing of Shia Muslims and other Islamic sects) in our society.
On Twitter, Mr Ghamidi said:
بریلوی، دیوبندی اور اہلحدیث علما کو آگے بڑھ کر کہنا چاہیے کہ شیعہ مسلمان ہیں، ہمارے بھائی ہیں اور انکو قتل کرنے والا ابدی جہنمی ہے
Translation: “Sunni Barelvi, Deobandi and Ahle Hadith clerics must publicly state that Shias are our Muslim brothers and those who kill them will eternally burn in the fire of Hell.”
Shias are not killed for being Kafirs. They are being killed as they are the first line of resistance against Nasibi expansionism. Killing of Barelvis has also begun — they are neither accused as “Rawafiz” nor “Kafir”, then why they also? Barelvi genocide is next on the Saudi agenda. That is how Sunnis of Hejaz and Najad were eliminated.
the civil society of this land must come out and protest against such heinous crimes, otherwise the situation will become bad to worse and every one will be slaughtered by jihadis except their allies, which will be a horrifying scenario for pakistanis.

@JavedGhamidi Barelvi and Ahle Hadith are not killing Shias. Only a tiny minority of Deobandis (Takfiri Deobandis) are!
