PPP has lost my vote -by Daniyal Shabbir

We (our family) have always supported the PPP. In Karachi, you have only two choices, either the MQM or PPP. So we always go for PPP. But this time unfortunately, the PPP has lost my vote. I have decided not
to vote for any political party in upcoming elections. I know my vote doesn’t matter to PPP as it’s the largest political party of Pakistan but also, there is a saying in Urdu “Qatray qatray se darya banta
hai”. PPP is losing its vote bank in Karachi rapidly because of its policies. To please the MQM, it is killing its own people. The same people of Lyari who voted for PPP, who always sacrificed their lives
for the party, who truly loved the PPP.

To please the MQM, PPP is conducting a one-sided operation in Karachi. The only area, that is being operated, is Lyari. My simple question is, does the government find criminals in the Lyari area only?
Criminials are all over the city, then why the government just targets the Lyari area? I am not at all saying that do not take action against criminals, but take the action indiscriminately. You support a
particular party, you never operate in the areas that come under the control of a particular party, you never operate in Azizabad, Liaqatabad, Korangi, New Karachi etc, you think only saints and angels
live in the areas that come under the control of a particular party and all the criminals of world reside in Lyari.

The behavior of Pakistan People’s Party, the party, I USED TO SUPPORT, has disappointed me. Hence, I have decided not to vote for PPP or any political party in upcoming elections and I know, I am not alone, there must be a good number of people who have been disappointed by the behavior of PPP. The current leadership of PPP has harmed its own party in Karachi. And one thing I would like to remind people that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had never adulated any political party in her life.
