‘Touch my workers and I will not let you loose alive. We are neither coward nor do we fear anyone, the people threatening us should come to the fore, if have courage.’

The above words were publicly uttered for President Asif Ali Zardari and the current leadership of the PPP not by an ardent fan of Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan or Munawar Hasan, these ‘golden’ words came out of Ms Naheed Khan’s mouth, who was once a personal secretary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

According to daily The News:

The PPP leader Naheed Khan yesterday (29 November 2010) said that it is justice to look for the assassins of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, adding the President has no right to condone the murderers of BB. She warned, ‘Touch my workers and I will not let you loose alive. We are neither coward nor do we fear anyone, the people threatening us should come to the fore, if have courage.’ She vowed to avenge Benazir’s murder, adding party leaders are deaf and dumb who do not ask the President and Prime Minister about the assassins. She advised the President to keep to him his democracy.

Ms Naheed Khan advised the President to keep his democracy to himself and questioned the latter as to who gave him a right to forgive “BB’s murderers”.

According to Express Tribune:

Naheed Khan, while speaking at the residence of Sardar Hur Bukhari to mark the party’s 44th Foundation Day, criticized the leadership of the party. She said that the party had been hijacked and that it is not seriously probing the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

Given Ms Naheed Khan and her husband’s close interaction with the ISI and its agents in Pakistani media (including Hamid Mir, Ansar Abbasi, Shaheen Sehbai, Dr Shahid Masood etc), and their persistent violation of the PPP’s discipline, it is no wonder that the PPP today suspended the party membership of Ms Naheed Khan.

PPP Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab said Naheed Khan violated party’s discipline the previous day; accordingly, her basic membership has been terminated and she would be issued a show cause notice.

In an emergency meeting of the PPP, held here under the chair of district president Amir Fida Paracha today, Naheed’s membership was suspended after charging her with violating party discipline despite warnings. Amir told the media that Naheed has also been issued a show cause notice in this regard.

It is pertinent to mention that Safdar Abbasi’s membership of CEC has already been suspended. (Source)
